If this was anyone else introducing Scout to a royal she might have been about smart about the whole thing. When it came to Attis, Scout made it a point to watch her mouth out of respect. “It’s nice to meet you as well,” she responded as she took his hand to shake. “You have? And what has the old man been saying?” She inquires, giving her papa a sly glance. The way Attis took a deep breath, his stutter over his words were easy clues that he was nervous. Scout knew there was some big news coming and that she might not like it. When her papa finally got it all out she had to take a step back. He was dating his royal? Scout first reaction was to laugh but that didn’t happen. She knew this was too serious for her to take as a joke. Her papa was smitten, with a royal nonetheless this could only end in one way and it wasn’t good. She wanted to tell him this was a bad idea. That he shouldn’t be going down this road; however, she figured Theo already told him that. This left her with one choice, accept it, while keeping a close eye on Sean. “You’re dating? I didn’t see that one coming. Well, congratulations!”

“Only nice things, of course.” Sean answered the girl politely as he shook her hand. He looked to Attis and frowned slightly as he moved to gently grab his hand, giving it a light squeeze as if he were encouraging him to speak. “Yes ma’am, we’re dating. I uhh... Guess he thought you’d take this badly. I told him you wouldn’t but....” He shrugged.
