“They seem rather confused. Perhaps they hit their head?”
“You think so as well? Please, get the master, I think this is concerning! Do not just stand there!”

“But I... I am not French. Uhm... RAMSES? Ramses. I think this young one is confused or... injured? Most certainly confused. Please, get the master, I fear if I leave him alone he might do something.”

During the nineteenth Dynasty a queen by the name of Nefertari ( ? - ca 1255 BCE ) was in power with Ramesses the Great. She was one of many wives, but continued to remain one of his favorites. Her birth parents remain a mystery, but it’s determined she is of royal heritage. It is however known that she had a brother by the name of Amenmose who was the mayor of Thebes during her rule as queen. She had two sons, Amonhirwonmef, Prehirwonmef and two daughters named Merytamon, and Mertatum.
Looking at all the monuments constructed it is pretty evident she was of high importance. She must have played an important role in her time. Most depictions of the queen stand with Ramesses II, which might mean she might have had a major political influence on Egypt. Ramesses II also dedicated a temple to her called Abu Simbel. This temple is located south of Aswan near the second Cataract of the Nile. This temple was designed with four large statues of Ramesses II with several small figures at his side. The temple was dedicated to the goddess Hathor and Queen Nefertari.
Nefertari was not the only Queen present during the rule of Ramesses II. In fact, Ramesses had a harem filled with many queens. His children were estimated at one hundred or more. Ramesses refers to her as the most beautiful one though.
Her disappearance remains a mystery. Experts aren’t sure if she died, or just remained part of the great harem. Her tomb has been found and it remains a precious treasure of Egypt. Her tomb is said to be one of the more extraordinary tombs found to date. It’s located in The Valley of the Queens. ( for @anastasiasromanovs <3 )

The son gives his mom a smooch!
Oh my! This was ten times sweeter than melon ice cream!— her son was absolutely the sweetest young boy ever. She couldn’t help but to wrap her arms around Amun, embracing him before she returned his kiss and gave him another one to his forehead.“ How you spoil your mother so. ” In his presence, Nefertari’s spirits could be easily lifted. All he would have to do is be there or even just call her name and her heart would warm up.
“I wanted to try this ‘ice cream’ they talk about so much. I requested something with the flavor of melon but I was told there was none. I feel a bit disappointed but they are not to blame. I suppose it was a very odd request.”
changed my banner. today i seemed to be more okay with my muse! but i am going to call it a day. i need to make food and get ready for... things!
❝Why did the mummy not think it was funny, Nefertari?❞ What brilliance would she shower upon him this time? He was most curious!
“How curious! You seem to have caught me in a most peculiar situation! I do not know the answer to this question of yours! Why did the mummy not think it was funny, Ramses?” She knew this tone! He was setting her up for a joke, right? He must be with such a question! And she absolutely did not want to steal his spotlight but Nefertari was VERY curious about the answer!
Her husband is so wholesome and supportive... She could ask for nothing more.
ardenssolis:
OF COURSE IT WAS easy for Nefertari to calm him when he was being too ‘rowdy’, but that was a given considering she was used to him going through moments like this one. ❝Y-You…ah, you are right, Nefertari. A Pharaoh must not allow themselves to so easily thrown about by the whims of fools, for that reflects badly upon them as a ruler. Besides, I have no need to prove myself when it is only the way of the world that I am still above all others.❞ He gave a curt nod as if he had just come to this great conclusion.
“See? Everything is all better, is it not? To an extent, that is. Your frustration has already been spilled but a calm has now taken its place. Such is the Pharaoh’s resolve!” Nefertari says, her hands losing their grip on his face and now merely brushed his tanned skin. Of course, calming Ramses was almost what could be considered her specialty. No matter the situation, she would try her hardest to find common ground with her husband. Such so that it would be easier to ease his frustrations and worries, trivial as they may be at times. It was, after all, her job to be his pillar, in a way.
Though, she would be lying if she said that seeing his frustrated face did not bring back memories of their childhood, especially in these situations. How he would become upset with Moses over little disputes they would have. She would act the mediator then as well.
With a smile, the woman gently brushed her hand against Ramses’s cheek and spoke softly. “Would you like for me to continue to soothe you? Spoil you, perhaps? I have made various treats for you and I would hope you would have a taste?” Nefertari would do such things even without asking, but making her wishes known in such a way seemed like a better idea. It would keep his mind focused on something other than his little argument with the King of Heroes, she hoped.
“They would make good friends.”
we are not friends
“Oh, is that so? How disappointing. You two bicker from time to time, and anyone could be fooled. You bicker like friends. It is actually very pleasing to see. Not that I enjoy the arguments but you two seem to argue about such silly things that it is hard to see you two NOT being friends... But you have my apologies, King of Heroes, if I offended you in some way.”
“I hope everyone has had a good day.”
"Look at your man, now look at me. Notice I am not your man."
"Ye--yes, I am quite aware, young man! Pardon me for my rudeness but you shine nothing like my beloved nor does your voice make the sun burn brighter! Did you need something? Was it a joke? if so, pardon me again. You lost me!”
“Oh Gods. I think I’m going to faint.”
