The year is 2023. Humans have reached the peak of AI and are now producing AI machines called Androids. As per any new technology, they serve to make life easier for human civilization. These Androids look, sounds, and act like humans; but in the end, they are just machines mimicking humans behavior. Or are they? Some people, and even Androids themselves, believe they might be more alive than we think. While the production and population of Androids are reaching new heights in Seoul, the answer to that question might be closer than expected.

To those on the list, you are granted 24 hours to reapply as your chosen fc with no need for sending in a new application. Just shoot the main a message and we will add you in once more! However, if you do choose to reapply, we must see activity (character development, threads, starters, etc) within the first 12 hours or else the opportunity will be negated.
โ Anger has spilled into the streets of Seoul. Protests took to the city, feet stomping the pavements in opposition to the androids taking up residence in homes and in various occupations across the country. Days later, protestors opposed those against the androids, advocating for freedom for all which resulted in the once bustling yet relatively untroubled streets of Seoul erupting in riots. Peaceful protests met those of violence โ and the roads turned into a war zone. The eyes of the world are on cyberlife, wondering who will take to the streets to end the violence. Meanwhile, cyberlife CEO, Kim Jaejin, has turned his androids into something akin to a media frenzy. He defended himself on national television and confirmed that his team were experimenting on the androids, and that they were using their research to the develop a solution to the red ice epidemic sweeping Seoul by implementing a security feature which would allow his corporation to essentially spy on any citizen who comes into contact with androids -and the country went crazy.
So your characters have four options. They can go to the city and try to keep the peace, or they can essentially attack anyone who stands in their way. They can also not partake in the mass rioting as a neutralย party or have your muse be another option. It is entirely up to you which team to choose.

Hello everyone! Admin K here! We are writing this post today to make light of a decision that both I and Admin M have been discussing over the past few weeks. As you all know, there are three admins currently in our team - Admin K (Skye), Admin M (Adlynn), and Admin C (Matthew). Unfortunately, this admin team will be losing one of its members, as in a joint decision we have come to the conclusion to remove Admin C from the moderation, as well as the directory.
Why, you might ask? Well, quite simply, Admin C has completely disappeared. Three weeks ago he ghosted both us, the directory, as well as his own muse blog, and despite trying to get in contact with him we have yet to receive a reply. Both Admin M and I decided to give him a little bit to see if he would make himself known again, but to no avail. Thus, with him no longer participating or helping out as an admin, we have decided to remove him.
What does that mean for Deviantkrp? Nothing at all! For the past three weeks we have been running the directory on our own, and with no struggles whatsoever during that time period we intend to do so in the future as well. Nothing will change at all in regards to the overall picture, however, you will notice that the admin team as therefore shortened to two people rather than three.
Despite the two of us running the directory by ourselves, we are currently in the talks about seeing about opening a third admin spot. If we do come to the conclusion that it is needed or would help us out a lot, we will let you all know as soon as possible and open up applications for such.

โSpeaking on the topic of deviancy, I do not think that itโs necessarily a bad thing. I think of it as karma for some humans, even. However, like anything else in this cold-hearted, merciless world, it simply cannot be helped. People change, animals change, a lot of different things change. Who says Androids canโt change too?โ
The WR400 Android or Amber claimed that working in the Eden Club was rather eventful, to keep it short. When she was released approximately five years ago, tabloids and various sites on the internet had given their opinion on her model and how it was โtoo beautifulโ to be an android or other similar sayings that have circled about.
A year after her release, the same man would come in thrice a month and purchase her, taking her to his home for privacy. Amber never knew his name, he never told her. She only addressed him as โSirโ. He would always take her back to the club in the morning, but what he didnโt know was that Amber explored his small home and read his books while he rested for the night. The female Android had no idea what drove her to read more and more books. She read books about psychology, philosophy, and even a few about love stories. Amber soon found her answer in one of the manโs many books about the human mind on why she was reading these books. Curiosity, the word rolled off her tongue while her eyebrows furrowed in confusion. This was a human emotion, correct? Why was she feeling this emotion in particular?
A few months passed. Even with the memory erasure, the questions would only come back and haunt Amber once more. What was happening?
Standing back in her glass case, Amber couldnโt help but think that it was โฆ colder than sheโd thought. Nothing changed, though. She did her duties like always with no complaints, but she found herself wanting to go back and see the man, touch him, be with him. She wanted to know why the feeling was nagging at her from the back of her head.
She then concluded that she was in love with him, as she read in one of the books, and itโs what she also heard from the owner of the Eden Club the first time she stepped into the glass case she grew accustomed to. It must be a form of saying you are attracted to something, yes?
And for the second time that month in the year 2029, the man came in as usual, purchased her, drove her to his home and as soon as they stepped foot into the living room Amber had suddenly asked him.
โWhat is love?โ
Dumbfounded, the man opened and closed his mouth, trying to find what words to say that would be appropriate to say to an Android. โLove, is an unpleasant feeling at first, but you learn to live with it, somehow.โ
โHow do you know if you are in love with someone, then?โ
He looked into her eyes. They were filled with curiosity, purity even. But before he could answer, a knock was heard on the door and he scattered to hide Amber in a small closet and instructed her to stay absolutely still, which she obliged without another word. She managed to think about his answer to her previous question, her eyes closing while her LED was rapidly blinking yellow as she processed everything. Opening her eyes once more, she was greeted with the sight of the man she loved in a passionate embrace with another woman through the shutters of the closet doors. The LED on her forehead blinked red as she watched the man and his woman for what seemed to be forever.
She couldnโt bear to watch anymore, and thus she fought against the red barrier that kept her from moving.
And the next thing she knew, she moved without thinking, holding open one of the closet doors with her hand. Her cheeks were wet, was she crying? It seemed like it. The two people who were previously on the couch lounging stood up and stared at the female Android with shocked expressions. The woman was the first to react, climbing off of the man and slapping him, grabbing her coat and leaving, making sure to slam the door on her way out. Amber only stared without emotions as the man grabbed her by the arm and throwing her to the floor, yelling much more profanities than the woman earlier. She didnโt remember what had happened next, as she found herself back in her glass case. But this time, the man never came back, leaving Amber to her thoughts.
She may have just become a deviant for him.
She (surprisingly) still loved him.
The female Android made a promise to herself, that one day sheโll get out of this place and find him.
And thanks to Lady Luck, she did get out of that place on the 19th of June, year 2031. All Amber had to do now was to survive, not get caught, and find that man.

How would an android that is owned by another player interact with others? Like, outside of their owner. I love the look of this rp, but I'm struggling a little bit with how to interact with other players should I go with my character idea. Thanks!
hi there! Iโm so glad to see that youโre interested in joining ^^ - in regards to your question, an android is able to interact with many people and not just their owner, in a variety of ways. while an android will be required to listen to the instructions/orders given by their owner and follow through with them, they can meet and interact with others. usually this can come in the form of their job - say they work in a cafe or a business, then another muse might be the customer or someone they work with. if your android was more of a home-bound person, such as a maid or a cook, then interactions could come from going out on errands or taking out the trash, etc.on the same note, if you were joining you would need to discuss with the player/owner of your android and see how and when your android can explore the world or the muses around them - but remember, just because your android is owned by another player that does not mean they control your threads/interactions! if you want to get more interactions with others or find it is difficult to meet more people without going around what the other player has said, you should talk to them about changing some of the details and discussion around or do some things you wouldnโt normally do with your muse! character development is greatly encouraged, but never allow yourself to be pushed to do something you wholeheartedly think your character would not do.if you have any more questions, no matter how big or small, send them in! iโm more than happy to help you ^-^
