ASKDJSUKLSFLIDK I LVOE YOUR COMIC will there be any more of harry and snape?? like severitus vibe?

TYTY yes and no but also yes for severitus, I feel like this is actually a really good time to explain the context of Harry and Snapes relationship as of comic page 6.

Harry doesn’t know anything abt snape except what his friends and classmates tell him, Ron obvs is gonna be bias and say he’s the devil from the Bible, and the slytherins say he’s a good resource (imagine that one professor who everyone hates but they know if they get on his good side he can write them a letter of rec that gets them into any program). So Harry is obvs a little wary of him but he doesn’t outright fight/hate him tho bc he doesn’t really want to start that.

Snape is feeling off kilter with Harry. He expected him to be the carbon copy of James but his placement into slytherin immediately blew that expectation out. Being in close proximity with him also makes snape see a lot of lily in him which compounds the guilt he feels. So he’s avoiding Harry very much so. He has things to do and no time for feelings lol.

So right now, they don’t really interact beside the times they’re forced to, but this event with the troll made snapes cortisol spike like crazy, now he’s kind of stuck thinking “Danggit I can’t just ignore her kid.” So yes he cares abt harry but no severitus yet (they’ve gotta work thru their own individual issues) but also mayhaps yes in the future.

Just want you to know how much I love your art! You draw Harry exactly like how I imagine him in the books. The panel where he's getting dragged away by Snape made me laugh out loud when i first saw it. <333

Thank you!! I was a huge Harry fan back when I was little and my mom used to read the books with me, her favorite character was and still is snape lol (it stuck with me, he’s a top 5 for me too) I kind of fell out of love after the whole jkr nastiness but after rewatching the movies this year I sort of want to reclaim the story for fandom lol

#it’s still kind of a moral quandary that I have w myself at times #but seeing everyone’s support for the comics makes me really excited to keep making them #not to get sappy on yall lol #DenkkoAMA

He’s learning good skills from the Slytherins. I always like to imagine that, at first, Ron and Hermione are both put off by his habit of self-preservative-manipulation, solely bc they have the stereotypical gryffindor righteousness, but later after some diversity training they accept and embrace Harry’s style (lol) (but they don’t “stoop” to it themselves)
