Do you plan on writing any of the main few as animagus?? If so, and even if not, what does their animagus form look like in your au??

I don’t know if I’ll write animagus into the comic but never say never loll, in any case here’s some headcanons I have for them! The widely accepted connection between patronus and animagus form means we don’t really get to play around with the golden trios forms too much, BUT personally and just as a thought experiment here are my favorite headcanons for animagus forms;

Hermione

I actually really love the otter form, I think it fits her so well as a little mischievous, resourceful, and loyal creature. I’m sure shes the type to hold hands with her pack to make sure they don’t drift away too… (I smell angst potential)

Ron

Again, I really like the Jack Russell terrier idea which connects to his patronus. He just really gives scrappy energetic dog to me lol.

Harry

This one I actually don’t want it to be a stag like his patronus, maybe his gryffindor counter part would have that animagus but I think a slytherin Harry would make a really cool bird.

Now my favorite…

Draco

Everyone likes to make the argument against him being a ferret saying that he was unwillingly turned into that by moody, I say…. It’s cute and also makes sense to me. So… on the other hand id love for him to be a dragon. Not a big scary one but a cute little fat baby one. It connects to his name, Draco, and also I think it matches his personality a lot more. Also for those saying animagus’ can’t be magical animals, I say, where is your imagination… lol jk but also using the patronus argument, if there is a connection, then technically albus’ phoenix patronus shows magical animals are allowed. And we don’t know Draco’s patronus soooo..

anyways that’s my rant, lmk which animagus forms you’d picture for them!

If you’ve not already answered this, who’s your favorite to draw?

the obvious answer is harry of course, buttt its really hard to pick just one. I love Harry's glasses and Ron's expressions are so fun, but I think the overall winner is... my brat son draco.

he's just so fun to write and his expression are so funny to me. unfortunately Hermione is the hardest to draw, her bangs don't even make sense to me, the artist, who created them. rip. But I love her character so I push through every page ( ◡̀_◡́)ᕤ

uhh, ok so question abt your comic but it's only sorta plot related?

what're the adults' thoughts on Harry being slytherin? mainly asking abt dumbledor and mcgonagall but also very curious how snape's thoughts on harry in this au differ from canon

GREAT QUESTION!

I think the adults were under the very strong impression that Harry would be sorted into Gryffindor, given his veryyy gryffindor lineage, so when he was placed in slytherin they all had to take a beat and reassess how they saw Harry.

One of the really interesting things for me in canon was how often Harry was likened to his parents and how that informed a lot of the decisions he made.

I think he's rarely, if ever, seen as his own person, away from the title of "the-boy-who-lived" or James' son or Lily's boy, etc etc. So i think by being sorted into slytherin it forced a lot of the teachers, especially Snape, to have to confront their built up version of Harry

Dumbledore is lowk an enigma to me, as he is to the rest of the cast, I think at least outwardly he'd take it in stride. Inwardly he'd be keeping a closer eye on Harry and seeing if the horcrux is having a larger influence on him then he originally thought.

McGonagall... my mother. She's the one I'll miss most, she takes a bigger background seat and unfortunately I think slytherin!harry loses a mother/grandmother figure in her. She doesn't have the same relationship since she's not his head of house so she won't get as close or attached to him and vise versa with him to her, however she will invite him over for tea and biscuits every now and then, maybe during the winter holidays when he stays on campus.

Snape I think changes the most. In canon he really avoids and targets Harry to dodge the responsibility of Harrys orphan status, BUT I really think that the added responsibility of having Harry in his house starts a chain reaction of growing affection (in a snape-ish way) for Harry.

How does Harry gets along with his Slytherin classmates?

i think they actually get along well, Harry's best friends are obviously Ron and Hermione so if given the chance thats who he'll hang out with but during those moments when he's with his roommates or partnered in a class he makes good conversation with the slytherins.

I like to think that Harry and Blaise share some quidditch convos here and there, Pansy is Harrys main source of gossip, and Theodore is quite perceptive to Harrys angst. There's the issue of differing beliefs in canon however since this is my AU I think the slytherins are less actual blood purists and more the parent-pleaser types. and if they ever repeat the messed up things their parents say, Harry wouldn't let that slide.

Harry doesn't have the time or patience to hang out with Crabbe and Goyle, they remind him too much of Dudley, his method is avoid avoid avoid. Draco is that annoying kid that keeps popping up to talk to Harry and at this point he's learned to either just brush him off or sit there and take his ramble like a champ.

so over all, the slytherin first years are pretty good acquaintances/friends. Ron is confused by this momentarily (he still doesn't totally trust the slytherins) but eventually accepts them and will have the occasional conversation

Are Ron and Harry going to be sports rivals? Or is Malfoy going to claim the title

OOOO great question. I think that Ron and Harry would have a healthy friendly rivalry on the field when they eventually make it on their respective teams. Because in this AU Ron isn't quite as overshadowed as canon he'd try out for the team sooner (yes ik its bc the position he wanted to play didnt open up until later but let me have this lol), and as a slytherin, Harry's only connection to his parents (specifically James) is the old quidditch trophy so he feels a stronger urge to connect to that aspect of his past.

Now I don't think Snape would allow for a first year seeker (unless..) so Harry would spend the first year living it up in the air on the old school-issued brooms and having small scrimmages with Ron and other first years. Second year, Draco and Harry have to battle it out for the seeker position but eventually both make it on the team (I wont say what position each one gets lol)
