I think this product is very cool and educational. It should definitely be bought by the school because not only does it reduce the use of paper but its a funner and easier way to look up words and their definition.

I bought this because it sounded like such a great idea. Unfortunately, every other word that I needed to look up wasn't in it. This is a good BASIC dictionary, which will probably be useful to students and light readers, but if you are an AVID READER like me, and read everything from history to science fiction, this device may not serve you well.

It has been well received by my teenagers - saves having to jump up to fetch yet a another book. Particularly useful in travel situations like an airplane or a car trip where toting around a standard dictionary is impractical.

Only draw back (and reason for a one-star deduction) is that it requires reflected light, which makes the text a tad it difficult to read when in low light situations. Could be enhanced with a small backlight feature - maybe in version III.

Definitely recommended. No problem with functionality mentioned by another reviewer.

I noticed them last week at work, and didn't really have much time to have a look (we had a children's picture book author in last week, so I was running around making sure no children were harming themselves or the books!), but this week I did manage to have a look, and accidentally came home with one. It is a pretty nifty little device. I've become so used to being able to get dictionary definitions at my fingertips when reading on my Kindle, that I find myself a little caught out when I'm reading a paperback (I admit, I did used to carry a pocket-sized dictionary around with me just in case), so this has solved all my problems.

How you can use it?

How to use this product?

When you come across a word you do not now, you just press on the power button near the end, and you type in the word you did not understand. After that, you click on "OK" on the bottom of the bookmark and you'll get the definitions on the screen above. On the near end of the bookmark, you'll see scrolling buttons surrounding the big "OK" button, and these will help you scroll down to see other possible meanings of the words. After you finish reading the definitions, and want to search another word, you can click on the clear button above the scroll up button to restart over again.

There are many ways in which you can use this product in school.

1)    Students in school can use it to keep record of what pages they are on whether it’s in a study book, story, novel etc.

2)    If, by any chance, the student comes across a word they do not understand, they can easily find it using the dictionary bookmark, which contains many words from the Collin’s dictionary.

3)    There are many colors that shape up the dictionary bookmark; therefore, each grade can have their own color so you can tell who the dictionary bookmark belongs too and it can change as each year passes by.

This bookmark contains well-known Collins English Dictionary with over 38,000 definitions and all kept into one tiny bookmark. This bookmark also has many buttons, which makes it easier to use and handle, as well as being lovely and attractive to the readers. This extraordinary bookmark can also be used as a normal bookmark and will definitely keep the page the reader is currently on. When you come across a word you do not know, all you have to do is copy the exact same spelling into the bookmark dictionary using the key bored, and click "OK" to search for the definition of the word – you can also scroll up and down to view other similar definitions of the word.
