It's only a failure if you do not learn from it

Yesterday was my second day at boxing training, 11 years ago I trained boxing and I got a lot of fighthing experience but I dropped it after 2 years in favor of my education. I tried to come back a lot of times but myself always tried to train in the way it left the boxing training which was my best form, yesterday I started again but decided to drop everything I know about it and start from scratch... It was lovely, I got that feeling of being coached, something I was really missing for the last 11 years, now I know that every single time I tried to train again I was doing it in the wrong way, it is not about start from the point you left instead everything is about clearing the glass of water and start to fill it again.

15 Years ago

It was 15 years ago, Lucy was living with her parents in the mountains, her father was a farmer and her mother a housekeeper, she had a good life nobody in a place where nobody disturb the peaceful environment, sometimes rain sometimes is hot enough to be playing with the butterflies outside. Her house was not big, 2 rooms 1 bathroom outside the house, in one room she sleep and in the other her parents take rest every night, she loved the peace she felt in that time but more than anything else, she enjoyed to play with her only friend Ragnar, She is 2 years younger than Ragnar and he took care of her when she is in danger. Lucy remember a day when she was playing with some rabbits at the forest and a serpent tried to bite her, it was Ragnar who took care of kill the serpent and take care of her while she was scared. For Lucy, Ragnar is the boy who can handle everything, the fact that ragnar growed up at the darkest side of the forest made him a boy who has no fear, people says that his parents left him alone 1 month in the forest and when they went to take a look to his progress he has already conquered the wild animals such bears and wolfs, he did built a house in the middle of the forest with his own hands and nobody helps.

Ragnar in other hand took care of Lucy because he did not have a sibling and most important than everything else, she was his only friend, nobody wanted to play with him due to his wild nature. He used to name Lucy “White Deer”, her smile and white hair made him remember a dream where he was alone in a snowy mountain and a deer came to rescue him from the cold weather, obviously it was just a dream. Ragnar always tell to lucy that someday he will be a farmer with a wife just like her father, his desires are not too big, after all a normal life is what a boy always wants and Lucy always watched with shining eyes Ragnar’s face.

Someday Ragnar came to Lucy exhausted a tell to her, “Lucy, this is the last time we see each other, unfortunately I cannot longer live here, someone just killed my parents and I barely escaped, I don’t know what I am doing here but I did not want to leave without farewell you, please forgive me if I cannot stay”. In an instant Ragnar left her room and disappeared in the middle of nowhere, she does not understand what did happen to Ragnar but at the third day of Ragnar departure she started to miss him, nobody to play with, the other boys and girls does not understand her, nobody knows how she likes to play.  One time she was playing with a girl at the edge of the forest and the girl runned away just because Lucy started to play with the frogs, if Ragnar where there he should know how to play, that’s for sure.

By the pass of the time, Lucy still remember Ragnar because, When does a man die? When is shooted by a gun? When decease by a fatal illness? When is poisoned? No, a man dies when is forgotten. Ragnar did never appeared again and Lucy did not want to forget what Ragnar was for her… A friend.

Something strange

Going back to the tournament, Lucy is waiting for his rival on the arena, 20 guards are around, she knows something, that strange must not appear by any reason.

 MC: Ladies and gentleman, Welcome back to the assassin tournament, today we have a big match coming, on one side we got Lucy, she survived to her last fight and is ready to fight again, their opponents, I guess I should not introduce them, you know them already, Dorian and Franchesco.

 Lucy.- Dorian and Franchesco are the strongest couple in the tournament, seems that the old man did something…

 Dorian: Hey Lucy, nice to see you here, we had been notified to kill you as soon as we can, so…

 Franchesco appeared behind Lucy and took her from their shoulders, she cannot escape, Dorian move fast with a sword and finished with her life or that’s what all thought, with no reason the time is freezed and Mephisto appeared in the middle of the arena takes Lucy before she dies and rolled back her own time to a point where she is not dead. The time start to move again and no one believes Lucy is still alive.

 Mephisto: Well, well, well… You are a mess Lucy, fighting again  on this ridiculous tournament, really?

 Franchesco: Dorian, get away from the arena, you cannot battle this guy, keep the plan as it is.

 Dorian jumps out the arena and did let Franchesco takes the control.

 Franchesco: Hey Mephisto, long time we do not see each other, how are you been?

 Mephisto: Did not I kill you last time we meet? Seems you never learn.

 Franchesco: Do not worry about it, I have learnt my lesson. I just want to remind you what we spoke 1 year ago.

 Mephisto: I keep my promises, so, What’s going on?

 Franchesco: Well, you know, you are a wanted assassin, so everyone wants to capture you, if you take a look there are 20 guards but those are just puppet and will create a jail right here for you, a jail from where is almost impossible to escape.

 Mephisto: Almost? Ok.

 As Franchesco explained the puppet guards created a jail around Mephisto so he is unable to escape, Lucy in other side is just trying to understand the situation.

 Lucy: Why are you here Mephisto? I did not requested your help.

 Mephisto: It’s not about you (laugh), don’t think that the world is rolling around you. Hey Francesco, Can I start?

 Francesco: Whenever you want, after all you are the boss lets bring our dear daddy to this land.

 Mephisto breaks the jail without effort and says:

200 Horses and 1000 miles, nobody wants to smile

300 lifes and 2000 smiles, nobody wants to cry

400 deaths and 3000 souls, nobody wants to shut up

 Mephisto: Why I said that? to be frank, It does not matter, today dear people you are about to watch the greatest show you have ever seen but as exchange I’ll take your life.

 Mephisto raise his sword and a shockwave emerge from it, everyone is dead, Lucy is able to see their souls going to Mephisto’s sword. Now, Mephisto nail down the sword to the floor and makes a rift, something dark emerge and disappear from the scene.

 Lucy: What did you do? Why did you kill all of this people?

 Mephisto: Does it matter? Now dear Lucy, be careful as of now you are a target, everyone will try to kill you and I’ll be too busy to reply to your stupid calls, take this - A sword emerge from Mephisto’s body - sword, don’t play with it and always have it besides you as it’s going to protect you from everything you think, the rest of the useful things you can do…. well you’ll have to discover it by yourself. One thing more, if you wanna meet me follow whatever the sword says and more important than everything else, use your blood with intelligence, we are connected and if something happens to you then I’ll feel it, think like we are one same person.

 Lucy does not understand all of those stuffs, but she must to survive, that is a fact.

 Mephisto: Here is where we say “See you soon” my dear White Deer.

 Lucy: Wait! Nobody knows that alias other than....

  15 Years Ago.

 Hey Lucy, come here and play I did find some frogs to play with! - A 7 years old boy asking lucy to go with him -.

15 Days after the battle at the tournament…

Lucy wake up in a hospital, she does not believe she is still alive, something happended. She knows she still alive but have nos feelings, nothing inside her.

A Voice start explaining…

Strange: Well… Wasn’t difficult to find your soul, you know the doctors were so good to keep you alive while they transfered new blood to your body, they does not know, but I putted a bit of my blood inside you, that’s the reason of why you are still alive. Nothing out of the common, you should be feeling like “death”, you know, no feelings or other stuff. Bring a soul from the actual inferno is something that obviously have a cost. But anyway, you are alive.

Lucy: Why did you reply to my call?

Strange: I was bored…

Lucy: Who are you? I’ve never see you or did hear about you.

Strange: should be better if I keep my identity in secret, but next time you go to the tournament will be difficult because the whole guard will be waiting for me to appear .

Trying to understand the situation Lucy starts to feel fear about her future...

Strange : it's fine if you feel fear about all of this, you know, I'll make you the winner on this tournament, nonetheless, you'll never be the same. 

Lucy does not understand anything, but she know something, she should not let that strange person make her the winner, she wants to win by her own. 

Lucy: I don't need your help, I can win the tournament without your help, anyway, I'll win, I have something to prove. 

Strange: what you are trying to prove is not something enough important to put your life in danger, I mean, I don't care about you, but now you have my blood and if someone with the enough knowledge knows about it then I'll need to take action and is boring. 

Lucy: Your blood? Is it really important? 

Strange: You'll know it, after all, that's the only reason on why you are alive...

Someone knocks the door and the strange disappear, all the room becomes dark, like if he has control of the total environment. 

Doctor: Lucy Du Frank, thank god you are alive, you almost die in the last fight, we did our best to save you. 

Lucy: Yes, next fight I'll be careful... 

Doctor: Yeah, about that, someone wants to talk about with you.

An old man appears in front of lucy, his name is Zirpent

Zirpent: Hey Lucy, How are you? I guess fine, you are alive after all...

Lucy: I’m fine, thanks.

Zirpent: Well... lets go to the main point, doctor, Could you please leave us alone?

Doctor: Yes...

The doctor leaves the office.

Zirpent: Lucy, Do you what did happen on your last fight? Well, you should not, let me explain you, the Assassin that acknowled your call is “Mephisto”, the most wanted Assassin in the world.

Lucy: What?

Zirpent: Ummmmm, will be difficult to explain you everything but nevertheless you should know, Mephisto is a over powered assassin, we cannot categorize him on one of our classification, he appeared one time in the past in front of our headquaters and killed every single assassin that was there, but most important, he killed our elder consul and stoled ancient secrets and techniques that no one should know about it, I do not want to idolize Mephisto but he did everything in less than 5 minutes.

Lucy: I do not care, I wont call him again...

Zirpent: You are not understanding, you will do it, we were waiting for him to appear, we have never been able to discover where is he and now he appears with no reason in our tournament.

Lucy: I refuse, I do not want the help from anyone on the tournament.

The face of the old man becomes something serious...

Zirpent: Again, whether you want  or not is something that does not matter to us, if you do not want to do it by your own will then we will force you...

The old man left the room leaving Lucy thinking about the next fight...

A man with nothing to lose

There was no end, there was no point of return, his whole life has been a push and pull. 10 years ago he loosed his family, no one wanted to take care of him, alone in a world a boy became a fearless person with no regrets on what he has been doing so far, his survivor instinct seems to be his only friend in the world, but you should no trust something that knows you so well. With a stick he counts every night the people he had kill to live one day more, the night becomes dark a whisper emerge from the bottom of his bed, the fearless young boy take a look and something take his head and show him an illusion of the coming days, now he knows what is his aim in the world. In a tavern, he hear someone speak about ancient powers that can be found in the edge of the world but no ones wants to look for them due to no return ticket surely. The young boy take those stories and travel to the edge of the world, He found something unexpected in that place, something that seems to be waiting for him to take it, he realized that there was a tons of humans bodies, all of them deteriorated by the past of the time. A voice spell his name "Droko", a warm voice to be specific, the voice says "You were chose since you born to carry this power with you, no one else is allowed to use it, now, tell me, Are you ready for what is now coming for you?", "Dear voice, I do not know what I'm looking for, I have nothing to lose, nothing to chose, I just want to follow a path that keeps me doing something else than survive, I'm not looking for powers, neither a great and rich life, I just want to have a purpose in mi life, so, yes! I'm ready", "then, chose one, you are not longer Droko, your name now is 'Mephisto', carry this power with you, this is the power from the darkness place in the world, you'll be able even to bring life, and return souls from the inferno, now is your turn to discover the edge of this power". With a new purpose of his life, the young boy starts a journey to discover his destiny...

200 Assassin's Tournament - There was Lucy in the middle of the arena trying to fight against Marlo, one of the favourites to win the tournament along with his Assassin Soul Marcus Pi. No escape, no rules other than win or die, that's actually the main idea of the tournament besides to provide a title among the finest Assassins Organizations around the world. To make the tournament interesting for the public, the organizations decided before release the first edition to make all the participants ables to Summon an Assassin Soul. An Assassin Soul could be any Assassin that has a Range XS registered into the Assassin's Book. Of course to make this happened, the organization hired a Magician from the far away islands to develop the entire Summon system, only rule required to summon an Assassin Soul is bring your blood, 10 years of life and that an Assassin reply to the call. Back to Lucy fights - Lucy - Damn... if I just had the will to bring my blood and years of life to summon my Assassin Soul. Marlo - Hey, Lucy you looks so nice dressing that blood clothes, What do you think Marcus? Shall we finish this and advance to the next block? Marcus - With a cold face - Whatever... Marlo - Sorry Lucy, you know, Win or Die, that's how this works. Raising his sword from the floor to the his back, Marlo decided to make the final move to finish Lucy's life. Lucy - Damn damn damn damn damn, I'm not gonna die, no way, no reason, I've something else to prove. Marlo cross Lucy's body with his sword. The arena becomes a blood shower and Marlo celebrates the victory but... Strange - Hey Boy, Have you ever give your back even if the fight is not finished? Marlo - What the hell? A dark light came from the sky to the Arena and the whole environment becomes cold and smelling blood. The Strange person checks if Lucy was still alive, unfortunately that was not the case. So the strange took his sword and made a rift into the middle of the arena then putted his hand like searching something into the rift and took Lucy's Soul to bring her to the life again. Strange - Your maybe thinking what I just did, I would like to say "Do not ask me and I'm not gonna lie". Marlo - What? I'll finish you, now!. Marcus - Marlo, don't try, I know this guy, should be better if we try to figure out his abilities and weakness, but as my experience, we are death already. Strange - Well, well, well... I was actually bored that's why I answered this Summon call, but I guess would not be funny at all. Marlo try to kill the Strange without taking in account Marcus words, the Strange brandish his sword and finished with Marlo's life with an unbelievable speed. Marcus - What an idiot... Strange - I guess you do not wanna fight me, Right? Dear friend... Marcus - Absolutely not. Strange - Well, I guess I need to dispel myself from here. See you soon!
