Dil Bechara storyline is quite interesting, Kizie Basu is fighting thyroid cancer when she meets Immanuel Rajkumar Junior or Manny, who has previously suffered from osteosarcoma and is in remission. Dil Bechara Movie Release Date Announced | Disney+Hotstar

Sushant Singh Rajput’s Dil Bechara to premiere on Disney Plus Hotstar. Dil Bechara, starring late actor Sushant Singh Rajput and debutant Sanjana Sanghi, marks the directorial debut of casting director Mukesh Chhabra. Dil Bechara Movie Streaming on Disney + Hotstar on 24 July 2020.

Announcing the film’s digital release, Sanjana Sanghi, who makes her Bollywood debut with Dil Bechara, wrote, “A story of love, of hope, and of endless memories. Celebrating our dearest, and the late #SushantSinghRajput ‘s legacy that will be etched in the minds of all and cherished forever.”

Sushant Singh Rajput's last film Dil Bechara will release on Disney+Hotstar on July 24, the makers said on Thursday, upsetting fans of the actor. Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Mumbai residence on June 14. Sushant died by suicide, say the police, who are carrying out an investigation. Soon after the release date announcement on Thursday, Dil Bechara found a top spot on Twitter trends with fans criticising the makers' decision to release it on an OTT platform instead of reserving the film for theatres, for when things go back to normal. "This is not fair. We want Dil Bechara to release in theatres, so that we'll get a chance to make his last film a blockbuster as tribute to Sushant Singh Rajput," said a tweet while another added: "I wanted it to release in theatres but the world isn't the place where our every wish gets fulfilled."

“#DilBechara is going to be coming to everyone on @DisneyPlusHotstar on July 24. For the love of Sushant and his love for cinema, the movie will be available to all subscribers and non-subscribers,” the actor wrote.

Talking about Sushant's last film, Mukesh said, "Sushant was not just the hero of my debut film as a director, but he was a dear friend who stood by me through thick and thin. We had been close right from Kai Po Che to Dil Bechara. He had promised me that he would be in my first film. So many plans were made together, so many dreams were dreamt together but never once did I ever imagine that I would be left alone to release this film. He always showered immense love on me while I was making it and his love will guide us as we release it."

Dil Bechara is the official remake of 2014 Hollywood romantic drama The Fault in our Stars, based on John Green’s popular novel of the same name. AR Rahman and lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya have lended a soulful musical rendition to the film.
