I believe that Dimash's chosen arrangement for this song 'Hymne a L'amour' was to fit the theme of a film festival with the many categories of movies. This was performed at the Closing Ceremony of the Shanghai International Film Festival.

I am a reader of authors like Shakespeare, Jane Eyre and Emily Dickinson... one of the reasons is that their writings are so nuanced and layered with hints of secrets that I get to uncover (or at least have the fun in trying) in repeat readings. Dimash's performances offer me the same fascinating experiences. I'm not quite sure what one would call this 'category' of art but I totally understand why some people say Dimash is exhausting to listen to 😆 so he is definitely not for easy listening. Or elevator muzak.

I had not checked to see if all the snippets of film were chosen to match with the sections of song but the first few looked like they were.

This song deserves to be seen by more people as it is one of his most fascinating... I would choose it to show people new to Dimash.
