guess I can announce that Gio and I are expecting a girl soon.

Gio & Liv // The Reveal

Liv scrunched her nose playfully against Gio’s lips. She smiled softly as he talked about it being a girl or boy. She couldn’t help, but giggle slightly as he said that if it was a girl he would buy a gun and if it was a boy he was worried he would be like him. “If we have a girl she will have my spunk, so there won’t be a need for a gun babe. And if we have a boy, he will be a mini version of my amazing husband and I wouldn’t want it any other way.” She leaned into the kiss a smile spreading across her lips. “I honestly think its a girl, but that’s just my hoping we can get a best mate for Elise who would be a mini Grace and me. Then again, if its a boy we have us an arranged marriage. Makes life simple, we already love the inlaws.” She placed her hand on his and they slowly turned the card around, three simple words printed on the card: It’s a Girl. Liv felt a tear run down her cheek as a huge smile spread across her lips. She placed a hand on her stomach looking down, her heart beating fast. “Liliana Grace,” she whispered leaning up and kissing Gio lightly.

Gio looked at Liv as she said that she thought it would be a girl. Then laughed thinking of little Elise playing with a little girl that was theirs. Then he got an image of Rich trying to beat him because his little boy was trying to kiss his little girl. "For the sake of my friendship with Rich....I'm thinking little girl is best." Liv turned the card over revealing that they were having a little girl. He looked up at his beautiful wife seeing a tear run down her cheek as she smiled at him. They were having a daughter. He was going to have a daughter. To protect and to love giving her everything he never had. Liv leaned up and gave him a kiss which he returned greedily by deepening the kiss before pulling away slowly. "I love you." He then put his hand on Liv's stomach and leaned down kissing her on the stomach. "Love you too little girl... I'm buying a gun... just as a plan B to your feisty side. Or at least to casually hold when boys come over."

She saw in his face that he had started to calm and she listened as he said why he married her kissing her forehead once again. She tried to force a smile but she just couldn’t, no matter how much she wanted to. She was just, in a word, overwhelmed. She leaned into his touch finding comfort just having him close at the moment, lifting her eyes to meet his. Her vision was still blurry from the tears that had formed, but they had atleast stopped falling. “You aren’t useless, I need you. I just have no control over how I communicate lately. I need you always, it calms me yeah?” She kissed him lightly before falling into his embrace. “I am happy, tears and all, I promise. I love you, too and I’m ready I want to know. For real this time.” She took a deep breath waiting for him to grab the envelope stopping him before he opened it. “What do you think? Boy or girl?”

Gio felt loved when she said that he wasn't useless and that he calmed her. Once she was in his arms she told him she was happy even though she was crying. Gio kissed her nose. He then felt excited and nervous when she said she was ready to find out. He picked up the envelope but before he could she stopped him asking him what he think. "I don't know... might be a girl...I'll have to buy a gun and beat boys away. Or it could be a boy...where I'll just be constantly worried he'll follow in my footsteps." Gio smiled at Liv. "Either way...I'll get gray hair and worry." Gio leaned over giving her a sweet kiss. "How about you? What do you think?" Gio opened the envelope so that he was holding the card inside. The only thing he had to do was turn it over and they both would know.

There was no point, his words lashing out at her made the tears fall freely, but silently. She felt her own anger rise and she sat up staring him straight in the eyes. “Giovanni Rossi, you seriously are a prick. I didn’t open it. Grace came around and was gonna open it with me so that we could find out and then surprise you with what it was. But I decided to wait for YOU because I knew how much this meant to you. I’ve been struggling with this and it’s been hard and I know I’ve been a right bitch, but I did it because I missed you and it hurt not having you here.” She let out a small sob and she completely broke down. “I already feel horrible about how I acted the other day, I cried throughout the night. I just, I’m having all these feelings and mood swings and its making me feel mental and the only time I feel sane and safe is with…you,” she whispered the last part before turning around and holding his pillow close to her as she cried.

Gio looked at her as she called him a prick. Then soon it became clear that he overreacted. He watched as his wife began to cry and yell at him at the same time. The she said she felt horrible about what she said to him and then she finished by saying that he was the only thing that made her feel safe and sane. She was holding his pillow and crying hard. He sat down and kissed Liv on the forehead. "That's why I married you... ya know? Because you call me a prick when I'm being a prick. It's sexy" Gio put his hand on Liv's cheek so that she looked at him. "I've been feeling a bit useless lately. Because all I want to do is make you happy because you make me happy. I love you so much it drives me a bit mental sometimes." He kissed her on the lips sweetly then moved the pillow so he could gather her in his arms.

Liv smiled weakly at Gio as he talked about Danny assuming that he was talking about Cheyanne. “Hopefully, they can fix things. Everyone deserves one fuck up, but I feel like he may have way passed his allotment for a century.” She moved over making room for her husband to crawl into bed with her. She saw him reach over to the nightstand and started to perk up, remembering that she wanted to do this as soon as he got home. She went to speak when Gio started questioning her angrily. She was completely taken aback by his reaction. “Whoa, calm down babe. I didn’t…” she was cut off by him starting to yell and she bit her lip trying to force back the tears.

Gio got up from the bed feeling frustrated by everything. "I've been walking on eggshells. Trying to make you happy. I've put off reading about the sex of our baby because you were in a panic. I've been trying to make you feel better about everything and it doesn't seem to work. Then I leave for a day and then you are good to open it?" Gio was upset he felt absolutely useless at the moment and betrayed. "You even lashed out at me when I was bailing out my brother because he fucked up. What was I suppose to do? Leave him there. Not do anything? Does that really make me a bad guy?"

Liv was curled up in the bed wearing one of Gio’s old t-shirts, holding onto his pillow. She missed her husband and her way of showing this had been to lash out and say things she didn’t really mean and yet Gio had taken it all in stride. He never lashed back or tried to turn the tables around on her, she honestly knew she was lucky. She thought she heard the door open, but then realized it may also be wishful thinking on her part. But a moment later he was there, right next to her. She didn’t move but looked up at him and smiled. She closed her slightly as he lightly kissed her forehead, smiling softly. “Thanks babe, I’ve missed you. How’s Danny?”

Gio frowned when he thought about his brother. "I'm pretty sure he is losing the best thing that ever happened to him. And he is a complete moron." Gio took off his shirt before climbing over Liv and getting on the bed. Once he was on the bed though he saw the envelope that the doctor put the sex of the baby on the night stand it looked opened. Gio reached over and picked up the envelope showing her. "What is this? Why is this opened?" Gio automatically began to feel himself getting angry. He had waited patiently for weeks for her to give him the green light. Tried to comfort and now it looked as if she found out without him.

Gio got in the cab at the train station and told the driver to stop by at the store. He got out and quickly bought biscuits along with some chocolates to make up for him leaving so abruptly. He got back in the cab and traveled the rest of the distance to their flat. Gio walked inside and saw that the house was quiet so he walked over to their bedroom to see Liv in bed. The image made him smile a little to himself before he walked over sitting on the bed. He leaned over and kissed her forehead gently. "Hey love. Picked up some comfort food for you."

Danny, Cheyanne and Gio//Cardiff

Cheyanne watched as Danny explained to her why he got arrested. She couldn’t believe it, she was speechless and wasn’t sure what to say to Danny. Cheyanne glanced at Gio before looking back at him. When Danny mentioned Kelsie helping him and the deal only being a one-time thing she swallowed hard. She felt hurt that Danny would lie to her and that he would lie about something this big. She stood where she was and shook her head. “We’ll talk about this later, yeah? When we get back to Bristol…when we’re alone.” Cheyanne looked at Gio. “Maybe you should apologize to Gio…he’s the one who is going to have to feel Liv’s wrath.” Cheyanne looked down at her mobile, it was almost seven in the morning and the light was creeping up outside. Cheyanne walked up to Gio, “I’ll pay for the train ride back.” She smiled gently at him before thanking the officers and walking outside, deliberately avoided looking back at Danny.

Danny nodded his head at Gio when he told him that he owed Ed nothing. “I know.. he just got me out of trouble felt like I needed too. You have no idea how much I regret this now.” Danny looked at Cheyanne as she told him to apologize to Gio. Danny looked over at him. “I’m sorry. I’m shit. You’re bailing me out again.” Danny felt like what he called himself….absolute shit. Especially since he knew that she was angry since she told him that they would talk later. They took a cab to the train station and soon they were making their way back to Bristol. Cheyanne was quiet and he kept looking over her. Gio was anxious to get back to Liv and kept lecturing Danny about how this was the last thing he would ever do to save his ass. Soon they were back in Bristol. Danny hugged Gio before he got into a cab to go to Liv. Danny looked at Cheyanne wondering what he should do. He didn’t know if she was coming home with him or he was going to hers or separate places. So he just stood there awkwardly.

Gio shook his head at his little brother. "Bollocks. You don't owe anyone in Newcastle anything especially fucking drug deals." Gio could tell that Cheyanne was angry and that she was holding it all in. Gio knew what it was like to be on the receiving end of a woman scorned. It is not pretty and Gio knew that Danny may have fucked up on multiple levels. Danny apologized to him and Gio looked at Danny. "Never do this again. I'm not coming if it happens again. Do you understand?" They then made their way to the train and soon he was back in Bristol. Gio gave his little brother a hug before getting into cab to go back to his beautiful wife whom he missed.

Cheyanne smiled gratefully at Gio before squeezing his hand back. He really felt like family to her, like the brother she never had. Cheyanne shook the thought of her family out of her head, she didn’t want to think about it now. Cheyanne smiled when Gio talked about Liv, he could tell how much he loved her and how much he cared. “The baby’s going to be lovely and wonderful, I know it. You’re going to make a great dad Gio.” Cheyanne looked up noticing one of the police officers bringing Danny out. Cheyanne stood up and stared at him before walking over to him. She didn’t know what to say or how to feel. She pulled him into a hug but pulled away just as fast when she thought about the drugs and Kelsie. Cheyanne hesitated. “What happened?” She said softly.

Danny was sitting in his jail cell thinking about everything and how he was going to explain everything. Most importantly though he was thinking about how to make up for everything. His thoughts were interrupted by a guard coming to get him. He said he made bail and led him into a room to sign paperwork and get a bag that was filled with his personal items. He walked through the doors just expecting to see his disappointed brother only to see a worried Cheyanne there as well. She walked over to him pulling him into a hug he responded to it though it was far too short for his own liking. She then asked what happened. Danny sighed and looked over her shoulder to Gio. “Thanks guys for getting me.” Danny walked over to a chair and sat down next to them. “I owed a mate from Newcastle a favor since he helped me out. It was suppose to be quick. I just transport drugs the one time. But…the drug lord wanted to only deal with me so it turned longer. And I brought Kelsie along to be the persuader. Then something went wrong and the cops came.” Danny looked at Cheyanne. “It was only suppose to be once. I promise.”

Gio smiled at Cheyanne when she said that he was going to be a good dad. "Cheers." He was soon interrupted by his brother arriving. Cheyanne got up and gave him a hug. Danny looked at him over Cheyanne's shoulder trying to communicate with him. He nodded his head at Danny as his brother went to sit down to answer Cheyanne's question. He explained he had a favor to return. "Ed? Fucking hell Dan. Fuck Ed. You owe him nothing." He continued with his story and Gio shook his head upset that his brother took this on his own and didn't use his head once about this whole thing. He watched as Danny tried to address Cheyanne. Gio could tell he was worried about her reaction to things.

Cheyanne sighed in relief when Gio said that Danny was alright but the moment she heard Gio say the word ‘drugs’ she faltered.”No…They probably made a mistake or something…Danny wouldn’t do that.” Gio looked at her saying the train ride was sorted. Cheyanne shook her head, “Thank you. Promise you’ll let me pay for the ride back?” Cheyanne and Gio sat on the train both looking worried. They tried making small talk but they knew their minds were on something else. When they arrived in Cardiff they took a train to the police station. Cheyanne felt a large lump in her throat when Gio said Danny’s full name. Gio gave her a look, she nodded curtly at him. The officer checked off Danny’s name before nodding, “I see that he and a young woman were picked up together.” Cheyanne’s eyebrows furrowed. “Young woman?” She said aloud. The police officer nodded. “Yes, a Kelsie Mclair.” Cheyanne felt her stomach drop. “Oh…” Cheyanne looked down, she tried keeping herself calm. She trusted Danny and she wasn’t going to jump to conclusion before talking to him. The police officer told them they had to wait for twenty minutes. Cheyanne looked at Gio before sitting down. “I know this is out of the blue but…how is Liv. I didn’t get a chance to ask on the train.”

Gio looked at the police officer when he mentioned Kelsie. He had no idea about that detail. He knew Cheyanne might be feeling a bit insecure but he knew that Danny wouldn't cheat. He took Cheyanne's hand and squeezed it gently. They went to sit while they waited for Danny to be processed so they could all leave. Cheyanne asked how Liv was and Gio smiled sadly. "She's my Liv. Maddening...wonderful...and fully hormonal to the hilt as of late." Gio shook his head. "Trying my best to be patient considering I have the easiest job compared to her. She's been debating about finding out the sex of the baby. I really want to know. Want to know if I'm going to have a beautiful daughter or a confident son.." Gio looked at the clock hoping to see his brother soon.

Danny, Cheyanne and Gio//Cardiff

Cheyanne was on her way to meet Gio at the train station so that they could get Danny from Cardiff. She had insisted on going with Gio to bail Danny out, she was stubborn so she knew Gio couldn’t sway her in her decisions. Cheyanne put a navy blue sweater on before grabbing her keys and purse. Although it was early morning it was still dark outside. Cheyanne took a taxi to the train station and greeted Gio when she saw him standing by the ticket booth. “Hi, how are you?” Cheyanne folded her arms feeling a bit cold. She gave Gio a concerned look, “Is he okay? What happened?”

Gio was smoking a cigarette waiting for Cheyanne to arrive. He was pissed to be dragged away from his pregnant wife due to his brother not being able to think things through. He put out his cigarette as he spotted Cheyanne walking over to him. He gave her a sad smile. "I'm as okay as an angry person can be." He nodded when Cheyanne asked if Danny was okay. "He is ok. He was transporting drugs as a favor to a fake mate from Newcastle. Got busted." Gio saw the train they had to go one and they walked onto it. It began moving. "Ticket is sorted." Gio found a seat for them. They were silent for most off the ride to Cardiff. When the train arrived they both got off the train and headed for a cab which brought them to the station. Gio walked over to the front desk. "Daniel Rossi. Need to set bail for him." Gio looked over at Cheyanne giving her a look of gratitude for helping out.
