I had a thought: What if I made pre-evolutions for my Pokésonas? Here are my Pokésonas, Domstagoon, DomBoar, and Incininic, but as a Zigzagoon and Linoone, Tepig and Pignite, and Litten and Torracat, respectively. Domzagoon and Domnoone, Dompig and Domnite, Littinic and Torrinic, perhaps. This is horribly ironic, as Pignite is my least favorite Pokémon, now I have a sona of it, if only just because it fits the narrative.
Okay, some preface here. For the New Years 2021 event held in Pokémon GO, Pichu, Pikachu and Raichu appeared wearing a sparkly purple top hat. When they were first datamined, I absolutely fell in love with the hat. Photoshopped it onto Pikachu memes, the whole shebang. Of course, I have to put it on my sona. Do you like it? He’s nervous.
I attempted to make my first “Comic”, if you could call it that. Starring my Pokésona, Domstagoon, he realizes that while he is ostracized by others of his kind for being different, he is still loved for who he is, not who others want him to be.
“Wh-Who is this puny, abrasive mushroom man? His language is so profane, and he reeks of smoke...”
A crossover featuring my Pokésona, Domstagoon, and my friend @ MarbarMar’s (Check her out on Twitter!) character, Smoker Toad. He’s smelly and very profane, but I’m sure one poke and he’ll keel over, if the nicotine hasn’t gotten him already.
“What’re we doing Spleen, What’re we doing? Delivering presents? That sounds like fun! Let’s do it! The big day’s just around the corner!”
Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas. Possibly the most effort I’ve put into a drawing yet, this features my Pokésona Domstagoon as a reindeer, which I’ve lovingly dubbed the Reingoon, with Spleen the Pidove with a Santa hat on his head. Yeah, I’m posting a Christmas drawing in January, but I did make this during December.
“My feathered friend...”
One of Domstagoon’s best friends is a Pidove, that he very lovingly named Spleen. Initially an annoyance, now he’s his best friend. Honestly not my best with this one. Especially the hair, I kinda rushed this.
“I-Is this her Decorate move? I didn’t think it’d turn me all minty and blue...”
Inspired by a piece I saw featuring Opal’s Alcremie using Decorate on Piers’s Obstagoon, I had to make this with my own. Alice the Mint Cream Alcremie uses Decorate on Domstagoon, turning him all minty and blueberry. I’ve unofficially dubbed this Domstagoon’s “Mint” form.
A reference sheet I made for my Pokésona, Domstagoon. Repurposed my previous piece for this in the corner. Contains all you’d need to know, as well as a front and back view, with colors. For the most part, aside from the stealing bit and Pokémon specific information, this also applies to my Emboar and Incineroar. I unfortunately made a big mistake by only including 4 fingers on each hand instead of 5. Could I go back and fix it? Perhaps, but that requires effort.
Unlike most other Obstagoon, Domstagoon’s tongue is small, so he usually keeps his mouth shut. But when it is out...it’s a blep.
Another of my best buddy Josh’s (@Joshisdedinside on Twitter) Poké Sonas. Although I call him Joshcario, he has no actual name. No chest spike is intentional!
Another of my Poké Sonas but not my main, Incininic. The color is that of the Green Incineroar from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which I love, and wish its shiny looked like. He has the same shades as Domstagoon and DomBoar, as they are technically the same character.

A drawing of my and my best friend Josh’s (@Joshisdedinside on Twitter) Poké Sonas, Domstagoon and Joshphlosion. While not biological, they love each other like brothers.
I had an idea for a drawing, that being of my 6 favorite Pokémon, since 6 Pokémon make up a party. In order, Tepig and Emboar take the top spot, followed by Obstagoon, Pidove, Zigzagoon, and Meltan.
This is a birthday drawing for my friend Marley (@MarbarMars on Twitter). Pidove is one of my favorite Pokémon, and weirdly enough, in a birthday cake scented bath bomb she received, there was a poorly colored bootleg Pidove toy inside it. Thus, I had this idea for a birthday drawing for her.
Earlier in 2020, I decided to finally make myself a Poké Sona. My newfound favorite Galarian Pokémon, as well as new favorite shiny Pokémon, served as the species. While it is different only in that his pupils are brown and he has yellow circular shades, I like the simplicity.
