I was ready for a happy post celebrating the end of Korra. But I can't deny that the ending was pretty disappointing. Oh, well. I still had fun. Thank you to a lot of the people in this fandom who were positive 'til the very end! I've followed you all secretly and I'll never forget you.

Whatever.” Mako replies, yawning. Suddenly, something explodes. The villain screams and disappears in a blur as someone pummels him. Finally, Mako is free. Korra picks him up and leaves the building with him in her arms. “I’m glad you keep rescuing me, but do you have to carry me out each time?” Korra grins. “Yes.”

What moment made you feel proudest, in-show and in-fandom?

 In-show: probably Korra telling Mako she wanted him right off the bat asdhkasd. Aside from the "DAMN GURL GET IT" part that I kept screaming at the tv til my neighbor called the police, absolutely NO one saw it coming and it was a nice change from the usual trope of having them silently watch each other from afar.

In-fandom: 

When people started writing full length essays about how they didn't believe in anyone ~dominating~ the other because Mako and Korra r totes EQUALS ok, i mean guys take charge of relationships in media all the time but the minute a tumblr pops up supporting korra taking charge people get up in arms about equality being needed lmao. And then some people actually started having to specify DOM!MAKO in their fanfics and that just made me cry of laughter.
