us green day fans used to have to go to ebay and other sites to get completely unrelated st patrick’s day merch for our “green day” searches and now we’re at the point where we follow the green day tag on tumblr and get recommended videos of girls doing yoga or eating vegetables….. remember when billie said that “green day” was a dumbass band name and they would probably never name themselves that again if given the chance??? i’m feeling that
