It still saddens me when people say Trevelyans are boring. Like… okay? So if you find the noble birth boring, make it not boring. Fill in the details. Make it so tragic events happened, make it so in some ways, they had hardship too. Or, even, they don’t need tragic backstories to make them interesting. Make the character have a multitude of dimensions. Give them great personalities, have cool hobbies or skills. All of the backgrounds for the Inquisitors are vague enough for you to make many headcanons.
