Why Does Hunger Still Exist In The 21st Century?
In our modern society why does hunger still exist? In our world we have such high technology things but we can’t resources food or water?This is basic human needs and we need these things to survive but this is still a global issue?We have the money for wars,space exploration,luxury parties,various multi billion dollar events but we can’t feed the poor??We are not angry enough.
“How serious is the hunger?”The global population 8,2% struggling with chronic hunger. The chronic hunger main reason the armed conflicts but we can avoid that with the diplomacy (I explained that in the previous topic).And I don’t want to blame just the government,we have many reasons why hunger still exists,for examples climates changes,food waste,economic reasons, poverty.
“Why is so important ?” The chronic hunger can cause both mental and physical problems.Mental problems for example depression,focus,burnout,chronic anxiety and this can slow down the learning,working, basic development. Physical problems for example chronic illness,severe weight loss,genetic diseases and mutilations.Both can lead us deadly consequences.
Real life examples so you can understand how serious this is: It can happen you too and not just others countries that are poor or have economic problems.You lost your job,some medical emergency happens or family emergency. And this case your income isn’t that stable anymore.
