I posted a drawing of a friend modelled after a popular discord emoji. I didn't know the origin of the emoji when I drew this, and I originally only used it on discord, but since I've been posting old drawings on this account, I just shared it without thinking.

Thanks to a few Tumblr users, I now know where the emoji came from, and I've come to learn what the original creator is or isn't okay with.

I did not trace the drawing, but I did draw my friend in the same style as the emoji. The original creator, though, is not okay with redraws of their works.

I'm glad this was pointed out to me, as I was I able to take it down quickly thanks to these people.

I am of the opinion that if someone makes a mistake, you should tell them.
