This is another one of those meshes that had more swatches than I wanted to convert so I selected 11 of them. If somebody else wants to do the rest of them, be my guest.

4to2 Mia Dining + More Stuff

Here's a 4to2 conversion of @soloriya's Mia Dining set.

Included are: curtains (with diagonal,) dining chair, dining table, two side tables, divider, ceiling light, and a shelf. The rug textures are on @kim-simpearls square rug mesh. The ceiling light is the only part of the set with recolors. Files are compressed. Collection file included.

LACK Side Table Metallic Recolors

I've been wanting some less shiny metals that look good with the Extended StandardMaterial Shader. So I combined a brushed metal finish with a TXMT that gives a light sheen and some colors from Lunamoth's TS4 CC. And here we go, yet more recolors for the iconic LACK Side Table!

I can't believe I've finally made it!!!! I first started working on this overlay in 2024, I tried like three times to create a box, but it wouldn't work. So I settled for replacing a texture I don't use in another box with mine and putting it on my sims. But I've always wanted to upload it, because I think this is a very needed item. After a long fight I finally understood overlays very well and learned how to make them. And I'm so happy that I can upload this box now!

So, what is this? It's an overlay box that contains only one swatch that covers your sim's palms, making them look more realistic on dark-skinned sims. I tried to pick a tone that would be quite universal, it can be used starting with skins around S3 and all the way to the darkest skin tones. The texture is handpainted, I did my best trying to optimize it to look good on the Maxis hand mesh, but there might obviously be imperfections because both the mesh and the texture are quite simple. The texture is unfortunately a bit pixelated; as I've mentioned, I had put it in a different package for personal use at first, and it appears that I don't have the original image file anymore, so I had to pull it out of my game and then back into the game, which... probably didn't help its quality, but it's the best I could do. I think it looks gorgeous, pixelated or not. And if you're not zooming in too closely, it's not even noticeable.

To use this, you just have to place the overlay "box" object on your lot and choose "Add Light Palms" in the pie menu. There is also an option to remove the overlay. The object can be found in Miscellaneous/Dressers for §0. I based it on a mesh made for TS4 by yourdorkbrains and converted to TS2 by trishasimma. It looks like this:

first cc post on my new blog !!

To start it off I'm updating (or trying too) every single hair I've ever converted. My main goal is redoing meshes and/or changing the swatches to EA colors exclusively.

This is going to be my main focus currently but that doesn't mean i won't post other conversions I've been working on :3 !!

The hairs in this post are both by @aharris00britney them being Beck bun and ponytail. These hairs were part of my 'roots' project from my old blog they were 2 of 5 hairs I did. I'm still working on the other 3 hairs (those being Yoko, Lilac Braids, and Nova) and will be out soon !!

Something I did differently this time around is I used the smooth assignments tutorial by @redsimmer-blog not sure if it's necessary to do for clay hair but I had fun doing it plus the hairs looks good in game :D

as requested by @croiduire, this evening I bring you all a sim - here's Vivek, reporting for download. I've packaged him in full CC (left) and no CC (right) formats. The CC version will require a couple of accessory meshes to work properly (see the keep reading), the no CC version will have whatever your default S4 skintone, thick brows and brown eyes are, and comes with basegame clothing/hair.

COZY HOME LIGHTING MOD v1.1.0

Added World Lit By Fire mode. Make sure to update the userStartup.cheat file

Improved light differences between lot and surrounding lot skirt (best used with Improved Lot Skirt Shader by @christaskyy). See this post for photos. Photos taken using Cinema Secrets but the seasons settings should be the same across both mods.

KNOWN ISSUE: unfortunately, I can't get the roads for 6pm lighting to match without losing the pink sunset, so this is the best I could get the lighting to match

Turned down intensity of some of the lights

Added in the light replacement for neighborhood and lot night light replacement in the 4.0 folder. Make sure to put these in your Downloads folder otherwise nights will not look right.
