In an unexpected downpour, Sam and Dean ran into Bobby's small cabin, laughing and arguing as they scrambled to seek shelter from the rain. The sweltering summer heat caused the moisture on their bodies to evaporate, creating a humid atmosphere inside the dimly lit cabin. When they weren't hunting supernatural creatures, they would often stay at Bobby's house for a while. As children, when John encountered particularly challenging cases, he would send them to stay at Bobby's. Until they found the bunker, Bobby's house was the closest thing they had to a home. The small cabin at Bobby's held countless memories that belonged solely to them.

This takes place somewhere around season 1~season2. I absolutely adored the youthful engery between them at the beginning of the show.

After a not-so-dangerous hunt, Dean and Sam made their way to the bar in the small town. Time passed in a languid manner as they engaged in casual conversation. They had a bottle of whiskey and won a few rounds of pool, and before they knew it, it was already midnight. In the chilly night air, Sam and Dean sat on the hood of the Impala, enjoying the breeze. Sam whispered some sappy words to Dean. Dean, who responded with a bright smile and leaned in to give him a kiss. In each other's breath, they could smell the warm scent of whiskey.

After moving into the bunker, although Sam and Dean had their own rooms and no longer stuck together like they did when staying in motels, private space was still nonexistent for the Winchesters. Especially Sam's bed, which was as hard as a brick. After just a few nights, it made his middle-aged body ache and his back sore. Of course, it wasn't just the bed that made him unable to sleep well, but also the absence of Dean by his side. Within a few nights, Sam's room was rarely visited by its owner. The Winchesters always managed to find reasons and methods to be together.

Golden Hours in the Library

Back in the days when the internet was not as advanced, the two Winchesters often needed to research and gather information in the local library. Sometimes, Dean would find an excuse to sneak off to a small pub and gather clues from the locals. As he claimed, he was more suited for that kind of task compared to his nerdy younger brother. However, most of the time, under Sam's disapproving gaze and subtle pressure, Dean would go to the library together with his brother.

The evening sunlight streamed through the library's French windows, casting a gentle glow on Sam's face, making his features even softer. Sometimes, when Dean looked at Sam like this, he wondered how things would have turned out if they had gone to California together.
