Touché Amoré - 2012-2013 7”s Boxset Clear 152/200 To get a copy of this (if I remember correctly), you had to send an email with your city's name as the subject, and you had the opportunity to buy this box set if you were selected through a lottery process. Long story short, I lucked out, and this is easily of my favorite 7” releases in my collection. And even though everything Touché puts out is incredible, I feel like this era was the band in their prime.

Balance and Composure - Light We Made First Pressing Flesh/500 While this was one of my contestants for AOTY in 2016, my favorite thing about this record is probably how different it is from their previous material. As much as I love Separation (and TTWTWM), I always support a band's sonic departure. Margot & the Nuclear So and So's - The Dust of Retreat First Pressing Blue/100 A few years ago, Margot would spontaneously sell old merch that was laying around in "the vault" (most likely Richard's basement). I happened to be on Facebook at the right time, and Richard sold me this long OOP copy of Dust for $20. Considering I've seen this go for $200+ on eBay, I didn't think it was too bad of a deal. This has been my one of my go to acoustic-based indie albums for the last 8-10 years, and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
