I played a little bit of Wuthering Waves when it first came out, but I don't think I played past the first installment. 😅 The Edgerunners collaboration is making me consider playing it again. I want to play as Lucy. 😭

Chapter 135: Joshua commits a heinous crime.
I do not expect you to publish this, but I just want to say as a fellow writer I am absolutely inspired and enamored by your passion. I've seen your One's Duty fic pop up here and there in the fandom's tag on AO3, but to see it grow so much! You're very close to having written more words than the damn bible and just WOW. Keep on trucking on. That's fabulous. Cheers from the sidelines!
This is so sweet, thank you for the kind words! 😭❤️
Chapter 11 revelation in Chapter 132. 🐢✨
IT'S HERE. ✨ Let's see how many things I will want to write and re-write in the story. 😂
Imagine if someone smothers their wife with this. 💀
Eir had leaned heavily on alcohol to cope after her brother and Bocho died, but now she can't even drink once Origin and the Phoenix plume disintegrates. 😮💨
Chapter 130 Preview
I'm being (playfully) roasted for declining to draw for money but instantly accepting an art trade. 😭 Eir is now being referred to as currency.
I AM FREE. 🎉 Meanwhile, some of my friends are still waiting for their pre-orders to be shipped. 🫠
My friend warned me it would take three shots with Requiem to defeat the Chunk, so instead of waiting until I unlocked the recipe to craft the bullets, I stabbed him in the butt cheek with an injector before using the only two bullets I had. I figured even if it didn't work, it would still be funny. The jiggly fellow had every right to angrily yell at me as he died. 💀
How it started: I'm sure I will be able to finish going through the Sagespire in three or four chapters! ✨
How it's going: Well... Chapter 125 will be entirely dedicated to fighting Omega and finally leaving this godforsaken tower. 😭
This has to be a bot of some sort, but the fact that it was posted on the Angra Mainyu--also referred to (with love) as Angry Mango among my friend group--chapter is sending me. 💀
After having read through their argument over which thing is more disgusting, who do you agree with more?
Choose:
Eir
Joshua
Chapter Preview: a firebird and a snowbunny bicker over which thing is more disgusting. (I love the item descriptions in this game.)
Eir, continuing to scan the cages within the Sagespire: "Hm..."
Joshua, curious: "Is something the matter?"
Eir: "Do you think a Cactuar might be trapped here, too?"
Joshua raises a hand to his chin in thought: "Well, it is quite possible..."
The pair are silent for a moment. After having mulled over the possibility, their voices overlap as both proceed to cheerfully state the differing thoughts which had been on their minds.
Eir: "We should try to befriend it if we find one!"
Joshua: "Perhaps a Cactuar would be similar to wine and taste even better with age."
The pair fall silent and stare at each other in disbelief for a moment.
Eir, shocked: "You want to eat it?!"
Joshua, astonished that she seems to be offended: "Y-You don't?"
Eir, dramatically exhaling a sigh and shrugging: "Great, now we're going to have to dye the whole farm orange!"
Joshua, after releasing a short chuckle: "Ah, yes, another carrot jo--wait, there is an entire farm now?!"
Clive, a short distance away: "Are their arguments often this nonsensical?"
Jote, politely bowing her head as if she is suffering from a mild case of secondhand embarrassment: "Yes, my lord..."
The next chapter of One's Duty will be postponed until next Friday!
For those of you who would like to read some (somewhat) wholesome shenanigans between Joshua and Eir before then, another winter-themed entry to Eikonic Battle has been uploaded! ❄️ Happy New Year! 🎉
