i love the way that she's so fearless in the face of a life that should probably have given her a whole lot of fears, she is bigger than it all and she is not afraid to speak her mind and to live her life and be so brave and bold and confident. because she knows she's beautiful, she knows she's amazing, she knows she's talented, she knows she's so brilliant and funny and that she should and could and will take up every inch of space that she wants to. and that is so much of the room for such a small lady and i love it so much and i will protect every bit of that space that i can for her too.

she's so smart, too. she's so so so so smart. and she's always learning, always working, always reading, always growing so much smarter every day. and she teaches me so much in that, book smarts and street smarts and emotional smarts. she makes me grow too and she does it so naturally.

and i love that everything we do whether it's a picnic on the living room floor, or going out with her friends, or drinks at a bar, or dinner at a new place that just opened, or a drag brunch, or a movie night, whatever it is feels like i'm right where i'm supposed to be because she's making me laugh and she's making it feel like it's just the two of us living this life together and nothing else could matter. we could be doing absolutely anything and it's the best thing it's suddenly the only thing in the world i want to be doing because i'm with her.
