"we're not? my bad. still, it is a genuine question."

[he shrugs and smirks as he subtly grows taller.)

  [ A huff as he cracks and grows taller in response. Strange, eerie insect like clicks escape him as he narrowed his eyes, face starting to melt. He doesn't seem to be taking kindly to the little competition in dominance. ]

“ What do you want. You only approach when you want something. ”

(Ralmok slowly manifests himself, gently waving and with a smug grin)

[ Slowly looking over… then jolting and stabbing it with several tendrils. That fucking thing is DESTROYED. ]

hey black, uuhh romlok wants to talk to you again and uuhh... BYE - *he gets the fuck outta dodge since from what he remembers, this black has it kill on sight for him*

[ The moment Techy even thinks about approaching, a hand from the floor grabs his leg and tries to rip it from his metal body. Could be replaced, given that he was a robot… Nodis simply just wanted to be a prick! ]

“ Then he will approach me himself. I am not a servant to be called upon. ”

[cultist-vessel]

(lucian feels a familiar presence. they couldnt quite put their finger on it, but they feel like they've heard this voice before.)

"Good evening, Lucian."

"seems you have a second child now? heh. What a softie."

  [ The moment that voice was heard, the owl was paying full attention. Anything else he was thinking about bout didn't matter except listening close, bowing low as a respectful gesture nearly immediately. ]

“ It is an honor. You are correct. I am proud to hold any title you bestow onto me. ” 

  [ Even if this wasn't specifically the Black he was used to, the cultist was able to tell it was a verion of him instantly. ]

(they stifle a laugh at this, before focusing)

"you know, i was GOING to give you a mission, but after this reset happened, I don't think you could handle it. tch."

(they look away, but they KNOW this will get on Lucian's nerves.)

“ Oh? ”

  [ Reset… all that came to mind was him waking up after one of the cycles that Nodis had control over. Could that be what was mentioned? Even so, Lucian couldn't recall seeing the other in his last one. ]

  [ It didn't matter. All that did matter was that he heard word of a mission. A test of faith- just what he took pride in. ]

“ Ah- do hold on! ”

  [ Eyes going wide, reaching out with a gasp. ]

“ Let us not jump to conclusion your greatness! I am very capable! I can assure you that I am the one for your desires and tasks! ”

[shadows-given-flesh]

"are you quite sure about that?"

(they look back, smirking. They are SO glad the bait worked.

"After all, this will require you to endanger something-or someONE- that you care deeply about."

)they get close to lucian, whispering in their ear)

"so, i have to ask: will you do it, no matter how dangerous? no matter how VILE my request is?"

[cultist-vessel]

“ Certainly. ”

  [ The words were far too eager to leave his mouth. This is what he was raised to do- what was drilled into his brain for all of these years. He didn't reach his positiong because he was hand picked by Nodis. Sure he had caught his lord's attention all those years ago… but he had worked hard to keep it. The same went for his other variants as well. ]

“ I will be honored to do as you ask of me. ”

[shadows-given-flesh]

"in that case..."

(they look down at Lucian, before the words exit their mouth. he hears this both in his voice, their voice, and... a child's voice.)

"you must sacrifice either yourself. or one of your younglings.

if you choose to sacrifice yourself, it will be quick and painless, and I will bring you back afterwards. but if you choose to sacrifice one of the children?

"well... I can't promise anything, except power in your favor."

[cultist-vessel]

“ Ah, you do not need to be so simple. ”

  [ There wasn't even any time for him to think. He even smiled and reached into his cloak. ]

“ The children are the future, they will be safe. Me, however… I have lived for many years. "

  [ Even if the promise to come back wasn't true, he would feel the same. ]

 “ You need not trouble yourself!~ ”

  [ Taking out a long, twisted knife, and holding it out… then humming cheerfully and stabbing himself in the stomach. ]

"...i was not expecting that to work. oh well. Nodies is going to be either very mad, or very, very entertained by this."

(Ralmok keeps watching this, duly entertained)

“ Mmhhhguuuack-! ”

  [ Coughing out blood- dark and swirling. It sizzled against the ground below and seemingly moved on it's own. He definetly had plenty of dark influence over him. ]

“ Oooh… ah, what a… wonderful blade. S-So… very effective… ”

  [ He's already growing weak. That was no normal knife. He even took the liberty of twisting it with a cry of pain, tears streaming from his face as a natural response from his body. ]

“ Does this… satisfy you? ”

[shadows-given-flesh]

(Ralmok, to be honest, was enjoying this immensely)

"indeed. in fact, let me help."

(he shed a bit of his own blood, and it dripped onto lucian's flesh, sizzling and burning all the way down.)

"close your eyes... let the pain consume you."

[cultist-vessel]

“ Aaah…? ”

  [ Hearing that Ralmok would help- what an honor. His own reaction was a bit slow given his current state of pain, but the moment that burning blood dripped down on him he cursed in Russian as he grew even weaker. ]

“ Ghhhhahh… hhhooohoohoo…~ ”

  [ And yet, he still smiles. He can hardly keep himself from totally laying flat on the ground, vision going blurry as he coughed out more blood. ]

“ A-Any… anything to… please you… ”

  [ He truly had no intention of fighting or escaping. Not even a split second of regret. He actually felt excited little butterflies fluttering through his twisting stomach (that was also in unimaginable pain) in excitement as he followed each order. ]

"Shhh... almost there."

(he sheds more blood drops onto the dying cultist, hitting all over his body as they burn all across his arms and shoulders)

“ Mmhmnmn… ”

  [ Suddenly, the cultist's back is slammed all the way down to the ground with a crack with a black heeled boot. The person it was connected to… a very tall pitch black man in a trenchcoat, looking down at him. ]

“ I usually don't take well to sharing. ”

  [ Moving his gaze to Ralmok, all other sounds around them seeming to come to a halt. Except Lucian's struggle to breathe, of course! ]

“ …though I admit this was amusing. ”

[shadows-given-flesh]

"ah, Nodies, there you are! i was wondering when i would see you. go right ahead, i'll let you land the finishing blows."

(Ralmok smiles wickedly) as he talks to them)

“ . . . ”

  [ Falling silent, pressing the heel of his boot into the owl while narrowing his eyes at Ralmok. ‘Nodies’? What the fuck? ]

“ He's unconcious. I need him awake for this. You could use more of a delicate touch to squeeze every last drop of enjoyment out of it. ”

  [ Stepping back, shifting one of his hands into a large claw and grabbing Lucians head to hold him up by it. He basically just peeled him off of the ground as he hanged limp and whimpering. ]

“ Your goal is to make him tremble in fear over you. You see this, yes? Even while unconcious, he's shaking. He owes me everything, he prays for mercy, life, even guilty pleasures. He worships me. And yet he can't stop the primal urge for fear. This is why he needs to wake up and LISTEN. ”

  [ Emphasizing the last word with a tendril slapping the cultists face, Nodis's eye turning into a crooked grin. ]

  [ With a choked gasp, Lucian's eyes shot back open, coughing out blood onto himself. Those eide eyes were quick to become lidded again, glazed over as he struggled to make out what he was looking at. ]

“ Ohh… my… two of… you…~ ”

[shadows-given-flesh]

"ah, so we want to destroy his fear response! wonderful!"

(with this, Ralmok turns invisible and suppresses his presence, and started to crawl behind lucian, ointentionally having his fingers slightly dig into his skin as he gets closer behind him)

“ Now you seem to understand. ”

  [ There were plenty of things he could do with Lucian in this state- or any state, really! Though this was one of his favorites… the cultist was cutest when he was fully at Nodis's mercy. Especially with that cute knife in his stomach! ]

“ We've ‘played’ many times before. You will have your sweet release of death here soon enough, vessel. But you have gone and gotten my attention now. Keep those heavy eyelids open, even if I must pulse your blood for you. ”

  [ One of his many tendrils injects something into the owl, seemingly similar to adrenaline. Just to keep him going for his own amusement! ]

“ Ooohoooh! Hoo… ah, my lord… ah, I can see much more clearly. It is you-! What an honor to- huHUAHHK! ”

  [ Suddenly squealing in shock, having been startled by the other coming up from behind. Normally he's almost always able to sense when someone is approaching. He's gotten so used to it… so when he can't sense it, it's pretty terrifying for him when he cant! A few stray feathers even fell out! His chest rattled as he wheezed, whimpering and grasping at it. ]

  [ It's not a surprise that he hasn't been seen around town much. He was one of the newer members. An older, tall man who spoke in a deep voice and seemed to prefer his privacy. The only one that seemed to know anything more about him was the sheriff. He gave a nod, the unlit cigarette already in his mouth. ]

He goes by many names, Black, Noir, and Nodis are the most common. Variations such as Mr. Black or Sir Black are often used as well.

Unlike any other character, he remembers before the reset, therefore breaking the fourth wall. He is actually the one responsible for this!

He has a sort of double life, being seen as a creepy old Sprunki who has just moved in near Sunnydale a month or so ago in a dark manor.

Most don't know much about him, but there's a lot of talk around town about him. He is not known as Nodis or any sort of god by them. Lucian ( Jevin ) and those in his cult are the only ones aware of who he truly is.
