"The 6th Day of the Creation" is a monochromatic woodcut print created by M.C. Escher in 1926.
It is part of Escher's early series of works titled "I sei giorni della creazione" (The Six Days of Creation), which illustrates the biblical narrative of creation from the Book of Genesis.

The painting is a view towards the port of Hamammet, a seaside town in Tunisia.
Klee began experiencing symptoms of scleroderma in 1935, which affected his health and eventually led to his death in 1940. Despite the physical challenges, Klee continued to produce art, though his productivity declined.
