Loraly smirked and let out an amused huff of breath as she shook her head, āYou sound like youāre living the life, there. Also thought you didnāt consider yourself āa lookerā and now suddenly youāre handsome?ā Seeing as he couldnāt even pay for this meal, she wondered just how much he was getting paid at his job. Not enough, clearly. āI do. Youād be surprised, though, I meet just as many characters at lunch shoppes as well.ā She quirked an eyebrow at him as she leant back in her seat. His reaction to her words wasnāt a surprise, but it was tiring. And not something she wanted to get into. āAs kind of you as that is, Iāve had a lifetime of dealing with me.ā She copied his words, spoke them right back at him, even if they werenāt true. Itād only been just under two years, but it already felt like an eternityā¦. she didnāt even want to think about it actually being an eternity.Ā āDonāt worry about it, though. Donāt need any pity or reassurance, Iām just learning to live with it.āĀ
āYes what a life it is.ā Sometimes it hardly felt like living, more like dragging through the day.Ā āWell I think Iām handsome, itās everybody else who doesnāt. I just have great self esteem.ā Teddy chuckled to himself, never actually thinking much on his looks or level of attractiveness.Ā āMaybe characters in very dull stories.ā The Hufflepuff countered with a nod of his head, not considering himself very interesting, nor wanting others to think the same. There was no need to be digging around and asking questions.Ā āWell a statement like that needs more than a lifetime to validate.ā Meaning to imply that it was not the job of one person to make that decision.Ā āLearning to live with what?ā Teddy countered curiously, taking a bite into the food he remembered was there.
