I recently had to google 'pokemon' because everyone went pokemon crazy and I couldn't remember what they were or what they looked like. I lost all my music in iTunes and it almost made me cry. I told myself I needed to get some perspective but it really didn't help. I was just really, really sad and emotional about losing all that music. Then it came back and I felt really dumb. I watched Stranger Things and, like most people, I thought it was excellent. But I didn't understand why everyone loved Barb. I still don't get it. She wasn't all that great really, was she? My family are all still mad at each other over something. I got pissed off about it and said 'it's nothing to do with me, I'm staying out of it'. Then I realised that it is very much to do with me as they are my family and I'd like to move to Norway and get a new family thank you please very much bye bye.

Morrissey, cool or no?

I think this is an unpopular opinion, I’m not sure. I don’t think it’s cool to like Morrissey these days. But I like him. Oh, yes I do.

Anyway, this is it.

Basically, I think that there is no greater opening line to a song than ‘punctured bicycle on a hillside desolate’. I’ve really given this a LOT of thought and I can not think of a better one.

Also, my favourite ever Morrissey/Smiths song, Everyday is like Sunday, which was supposedly written about my hometown (I say ‘supposedly’ because I’m about 99% certain that it wasn’t), features the line 'strange dust lands on your hands and on your face’. When I was about 19 I was in a pretend band and I really wanted us to be called Strange Dust. Now I want to google 'strange dust’ and see if it’s the name of a band. I’m gonna go do that now. Bye.

There is one thing that us Brits do fantastically well and that is think we're better than the rest of the world. If we leave the EU we will become unbearable in our self-satisfaction. We will think we are are more special than ever. We are not America, no matter how desperately we wish to be. We are a tiny little disintegrating island, slowly disappearing into the sea and WE NEED FRIENDS. I don't want to be friendless. I don't want the world to think we're utter dicks. Not more than they already do. And also, WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO OUR CHEESE SITUATION? WILL BRIE STILL BE AVAILABLE? AND WHAT ABOUT THAT ICELANDIC YOGURT THAT I LOVE?? I need a lie down.
