Луната тази нощ е толкова блажена- красавица, която мечтае сред алков и докато заспи, от ласки изтощена, гръдта си гола милва с безсмислена любов. На мекото легло сред облачни дантели блажено се отпуска и в сласт потръпва тя, с блуждаещ взор следи виденията бели, които сред лазура растат като цветя. И щом над този свят, над скуката безкрайна отрони тя сълза, издала скъпа тайна, Поетът неспокоен, с нощта във вечен спор, я взема с трепет плах — безцветна и горчива — и като бисер скъп в сърцето си я скрива, далече от лъчите на слънчевия взор.
