Ignored her most of the times in genin days as she continued her incessant rambling ( trying to get his attention, whatever may it be she had to use ). But what is she to say now? [ now that it’s all gone to h e l l ? ] The fury that shimmered in her chest vanished and all that was left was silence. Unnerving, near unbreakable silence. It was awkward.

The unease in the air felt so tangible to the touch if one was to reach out for it. Not that it would affect the Uchiha that much. There were always different types of silence around him. It was mildly amusing -to say the least-. He wasn't one to question her motives or actions before. It had always seemed something of uninteresting to him, yet now after all that's happened and his reintegration to the Hidden Leaf, there was no ulterior motive (for now) in mind.

" Yeah, " He started, hearing her repeat herself. "  Hello. "

        The echo of his name had him drifting away of whatever train of thought he'd been on and had his head turning to the one whom called. A natural reflex. How long had it been since his name escaped anyone's lips without hinting to some latent emotion underneath? ( --even though he still got those kinds. ) 

        The Uchiha did not rise, his head turning back to looking in front of him than the pink-hued kunoichi's features.

                       " Sakura. " He replied in a similar tone.                                                         Was he suppose to say more?

I guess I should start with a proper greeting to you all. I'm quite new to roleplaying in the naruto fandom and I've come back after a huge break I took of roleplaying and tumblr itself. I do know Sasuke's personality although it's a HUGE new level to actually rp him. Please be gentle LOL while I get the hang of it ahah. But I'd love good criticism to get better in any way I can! ‹▋◤Ｔｉｔａｎｉｕｍ◢▋› and as tears slid off her cheeks and eyes unwillingly, her lips pull down in displeasure, she was upset. She’s mad. He was always so insensitive, he didn’t care, he didn’t——when had he ever? She was stupid for even thinking he was anything more than an acquaintance. There was always a certain distance betwixt them; him and everyone. They’re even further from each other now. 

      It’s his cold facade ( and even when she knows it’s a mask, she falls for it ), harsh, detached, it never catches her off guard anymore, she expects it. Yet, just because she expects it doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt. Oh, it does, so much. It wounds her everytime she tries to speak to him; maybe even have a not so one-sided conversation. And she’s so stupid. So utterly stupid. Thinking it could be the placid silence of genin—-halcyon days. She could take that soundlessness, peaceful, undisturbed, silence now it’s near unbearable, she hates it. She’d abruptly take her leave if that were occurred because she can’t take it. He’s molded into something even she can’t quite discern( then again, when could she ever comprehend him? ). It’s not the silence this time ( surprisingly ), it’s the words. Fingers languidly curl into a loose fist, in almost an enraged manner—-yet to feeble to enact on it fully. Weak.                       

     She swallows the constant lump in her throat, she tries even though she knows it’s not disappearing any time soon.

             ”Why do you have to make things so hard?”                At first her voice is a wisp, hoarse. And the words are hard to push out.                                              When was it ever easy around him?

     ”God, just leave me alone. You don’t care, anyways.” And she intends to be spiteful with her words, if that’s what will get him to leave. Ignoring his previous questions—-she wasn’t obligated to answer them.

          Features were obscured to  his sight but not his mind. Even under the protection of her arm where he could not get a glimpse of her face, he knew. There was no doubt in his mind that tears had already begun to fall along pearl hued cheeks. He should be moved, even a tiny bit of himself should feel something for making her cry on his account. Ever since they met those years ago, he had caused her to shed tears for his behavior, little or big.

         Sasuke did not understand why they had kept contact (what little one-sided contact) they had in their past encounters. Maintaining most of the time in silence, hearing her speak of her day and what she had done or what seemed relevant or interesting. His reply? A few nods and short replies to question asked directly to him. There was no mistaking he could see the falling of her features in disappointment or with a hint of sadness.

         He should feel s o m e t h i n g, but nothing disturbed stoic features.

         The boy stood that way while he waited for those words and a sting of skin against skin. That would be how some would react was it it not? But nothing happened. Only those words uttered for him to leave her sights.

                 ”Why do you have to make things so hard?” 

         A question which he knew not the answer to fully. He was always at a distance with the world. Most would just leave him alone, like they should. Why couldn't she? She and those selective few who he had been in contact with. Friends. 

         Before he could answer that first question, he was assaulted with a comment he had waited. L e a v e . That's his queue, yet he wasn't moving. Only gazing absently.

                  " Perhaps you're right, "

         He couldn't, wouldn't,care. Through isolation did he save those from a fate he only saw bestowed to those he would care for. This world was unfair. The Uchiha should know, he got the short end of the stick since childhood.

         ' Yet why did you come back? ' A voiced sounded at the back of his mind.

                  " I'll be taking my leave. I should not have come. "
