Hello Everyone!!

I started thinking about how many sons Wilson has ..... versions of himself, in a way. I slightly renamed Wilson. I’m not sure who noticed it, but each Wilson is drawn differently around the eyes.

From the beginning, I paid the most attention to making the three DST universes clearly distinguishable at a glance.

I love all three Wilsons and the original one as well.

It’s a small what if game.

Since I only have a bit of time during the holidays to draw DST again, I thought I’d put together these short character descriptions.

I feel like drawing all three Wilsons right now.

I actually had something completely different planned for this topic, but when I saw the new Wilson design, my first thought was how much it resembles the Triumphant look.

If you take away the shadowy parts and the tie, you basically get a more "human" version of it.

I know his vest and gloves are red in the new design. But seriously, let’s be stylish. 💅✨

Maxwil week : Outfit

I know I’m a day late....Monday didn’t really go the way I planned. 😥There are actually two more intro pages that should come before this as well.

The main idea is that Wilson is the King of Shadows, and Maxwell comes to visit him from Earth. He travels back to the Constant with Charlie.

(Also… I really need to finish a bunch of drawings too… 👉👈)

Maxwil Week coming soon.....

Hey everyone! It’s been quite a while since I last posted anything here. I do share a drawing or two on Discord sometimes, but even that’s pretty rare.

But I’m back again.

Just like last year, I’ll be creating a connected mini comic story using the given prompts. I really hope I’ll be able to keep up with everything this time.

It’s going to tie into the Urban Legend storyline again. The whole thing will start with Wilson already knowing how to use his powers, having settled in with the shadows, when Maxwell and Charlie pay him a visit

returning to the Constant from Earth.

Starting on the 6th of April, Maxwil week is happening once again this year!

What am I supposed to do?

Well its very simple! Everyday, there are new prompts! You are free to chose 1 or both of the prompts and create something maxwil related inspired by that prompt everyday!

But what if I don't feel inspired by some of these prompts?

Then worry not, because here are some bonus prompts! You are free to replace any of the main prompts by a bonus prompt, or even just use them as extra prompts if you want to keep the fun going for longer!

How can I participate?

There's no real time limit for this event! You're allowed to take as much time as you want, or skip days, or even do last years prompt! Just have fun!

I know I've said in an ask that it would probably end up being later in the year, but so many people ended up joining the Maxwil server so quickly I ended up being able to host it even earlier! I'm insanely grateful for everyone who has joined the server, advertised it, talked about it with others, etc... And I can't wait to see what everyone creates! Have fun everyone!

This year, I’m not going with a drugged Wilson and Maxwell angle....instead, I’ll be approaching things from a mentor and student perspective.

I think it’s a really interesting approach, and I’ll also be hinting at another perspective when it comes to Wilson. 🖤 👻

I know I’ve drawn Triumphant Wilson a lot already, but whenever I’m testing something new, he’s usually my go to character.

This was done on an Apple tablet using the Procreate app. My sister is currently learning how to draw, so I got to experiment a little too. ✨

Soooooooo Flower-y!!!! HE WEARS SHOES!!! YES!!!

Totally worth the daily log-ins and selling extra outfits just to get a new skin.

I have very mixed feelings about this outfit though. I mean, I love how self-obsessed his expression looks .... and it even shows on the Balatro card too.

That endless arrogance? I’m weirdly into it.

BEST mind in the Village.

I know he already has that other leafy skin (Verdant), so it’s not like leaves and plants are something foreign to his character .... that’s not what I mean.

It’s more like… I imagine him hopping around, tossing flowers into the air and dancing while doing it. 🌼✨

Wagstaff, the Bush, and Me....

For some reason I feel like it’s not just the land that got split in half, but me too.

I sleep at Wagstaff’s place, then I eat at Pearl’s, but at least the campfire is shared.

It’s kind of funny how it turned out like this, but what’s not so funny is that Wagstaff really loves that bush.

I can’t dig it up, I can’t burn it, I can’t pick the berries....

but the game can add a moon plant that can just kill you. - for fun- You know. Normal DST things.

At least I can use the table though.

Part 3 - The price we never talk about.

Let’s start with the meat effigy, because that’s the very first confirmed method we know he used. What does that actually entail? What is the price of resurrection?

If we look at it from the beginning, when Wilson first arrived, it was his original body....the one he brought from Earth. But if we look at the meat effigy itself, the flesh used is no longer from Earth. It comes from the Constant. That means this body now belongs to the Constant, not to Earth anymore.

Does that matter? The signs suggest that it does.

The first real clues come from Maxwell’s lines.

Resurrection is always tied to shadow magic, and because of that, Wilson’s body begins to behave in rather unusual ways.

It’s worth noting that the Gestalts are more aggressive around Wilson and Maxwell. They don’t really communicate with them. In contrast, with the others they interact much more, and the emphasis is rather on protecting them from the shadows.

Wilson’s body resonates with these energies...this is the consequence of having returned from death so many times. Mentally, however, he is strong enough to say “yes” or “no” to them.

If the body keeps adapting… how long can the mind keep saying no?

While Charlie, Maxwell, and Wanda paid for dark force/knowledge with their own time…

what if Wilson paid with himself?

Not just with the years of his life, but with his body.

Part 02 - The first break on the line

Death is not the end:

you mess something up, you learn from it, and then you start again.

If we look at the story itself, there are three things we can say for certain. Wilson has died and come back many times. And he was not the only one.

Yes, I brought you a small story.

Wendy, Wolfgang, and Wilson are walking through the forest. We don’t actually know much more than that. Only this. Although this likely happened early on, shortly after they arrived in the Constant, judging by Wolfgang’s clothes. If anyone wants more detailed information, here’s my older post about it : My thoughts about the base

If I had to guess, I’d say they were trying to gather food...probably hunting spiders. But things didn’t go the way they planned.

Wilson and Wolfgang died.

This is hinted at by Wilson’s beard:

it’s gone, because whenever Wilson dies, his beard disappears.

So the question is....how did Wilson come back?

Thanks to a Life Giving Amulet. I have a strong feeling he always keeps one around his neck.

And how was Wolfgang brought back? Wilson made one telltale heart.... And what is that made from? From spider guts.

Which means Wolfgang’s original body was resurrected first, and only after that did he receive a shot from Wilson.

Although everyone knows that after using the heart you must receive an injection, because the telltale heart turns your HP black. Somehow, I personally imagine it as a part of the body literally blackening. Although resurrection always stirs dark forces, and yes ....

Part 01 - Sir Bee-Feedmond

I originally planned this post series for this week. But a few lines caught my eye, and you know how it goes ...

I started thinking about them.

I wouldn’t really call this a full theory. You don’t have to take these little thought-monologues too seriously. I’m just thinking out loud.

You’ll find them under the ekletia-theory tag.

I didn’t want to start the series with the heaviest ideas. I wanted to begin with something softer and cuter .... like the idea that Wilson might have had his own Beefalo.

A lot of survivors had one, after all .....but Wilson was probably the only one who crossed that particular line.

And he did it happily. Why?

Because he had already crossed it many times before. But I’ll get into that in the next part.

For now, the important question is: what would Wilson have named his Beefalo?

I think Sir Bee-Feedmond fits perfectly.

In Hungarian, this would be "Bee-fa-ló", which.... if I really wanted to translate it back into English ..... would mean something like Bee-Wood-Horse. Obviously, the original English pun works much better than the translated one. I know that. This is just a little linguistic curiosity.

A Perfectly Normal Torch🕯️

I got a pointless idea. BUT!

What if Maxwell once made a torch that’s ✨ magical.✨ Only Wilson can throw it, and the whole point is that it can stay on water. What’s the point?

-Absolutely none -

....but at least it can’t be put out with water. Wait!!!

If it can’t be extinguished, then it’s....

immune to rain.

Maybe there is some potential in this idea.
