The more I sit with the ending of Good Omens, the more the word that comes to me to describe it is "cowardly." You had a chance to create a vision of love and joy and happiness, to achieve satisfying catharsis, and you did this instead? What a failure of imagination and nerve.

turbo virgin aziraphale and crowley have never done anything with anyone ever, especially not each other. they get flustered from literally any physical contact (see crowley acting like damn mr darcy below)

but experienced aziraphale and crowley have been exploring each other’s bodies for years. fucking their way through the ages. did it start after armageddon was averted? 1941? the oysters in rome? you tell me. but they are intimately familiar with each other.

i think there’s evidence for both!

they both seem incredibly repressed and nervous about being overtly friendly, and they dance around each other with enough tension to snap a fucking heart harp string.

but they’re also incredibly flirty. giving each other bedroom eyes every time they see each other smh like get a ROOM. seems like they have already. like, decades of rooms. a popular book headcanon is that they’re basically married, and in the radio drama it seems like they may have found a discreet patch of garden in eden.

AND ANOTHER THING. are they experienced with others?? has aziraphale in all his earthly pleasures found divine ecstasy with a human? has crowley in all his snake-like charm done the same? maybe they’ve been keeping each other at a distance but keep others close in attempt to fill the hole in their hearts. hmm!!!

Remember Aziraphale's adorable little "temptation accomplished"?

What if that but the other way round? Aziraphale getting Crowley to do something with him, (perhaps while he's pretending to be busy with something nefarious-ish) and Crowley going "wile thwarted," with the softest little smile?
