Certainly not #weldporn but for me, this is pretty good. I'm making a table for a bench grinder Mamma gave me two Xmases ago, and a great vise my family got me this past Xmas (thank you @nuxi37 & Michael). This weld is on the underside of a large dirty gear, now welded to part of an exercise bike frame that will serve as part of the table top. The entire piece will look like a scrap table with a lot of character. Thanks for your support all. Hope your ❤️Day was lovely.

On to the next commissioned build. Here are most of the main parts laid out to look like a face. But when finished, it will hopefully resemble a type of insect I've not yet attempted. Any guesses?

We were given this great toy chest from our family pre-loved for the Elflette (thank you @nuxi37 🙋🏼😘) As with almost everything I get my hands on, I modified it a bit🛠, and just finished staining it with Minwax Polyshade. Very simple to apply and looks like this every time I've used it 👍🏼 As with everything in life, I think half the battle is putting in a genuine effort. I encourage you to push yourself to try something you've been intimidated to start. You can do it, and will likely be impressed with the outcome if you put the time into the project.
#tbt Inspired by a cartoon butterfly, 👐🏽Scoops👐🏽 here was a mobile for our daughter over her changing table to help hold her attention. About 2 years later, it was time to grind off the washers on the back so she could lean against a wall. Her face is a wheel from a mini wagon, wings are spoons, antennae a spoon handle, body a socket extension, and so on. Happy Friday Eve all 🎉
One of the last photos I took of the winged paintbrush hood ornament, it arrived where it belongs today @starrstudiostx and @rebelrouserhotrods ...deep in the heart of Texas. It received a very warm welcome, and I'm thankful it arrived as shipped. This piece began as a commission request, but I wanted to contribute instead in the form of a donation for 'The Sign Painter's Hotrod' so I could feel like part of the crew. It is one badass truck. I can't wait to see it installed, and maybe even meet the team and see the truck in person some day.

🎣🐠🐟Reel Family🐟🐠🎣 Finished and delivered🏁 I was asked to make something having a fishing or nautical feel while representing a family of 6 to be a Christmas gift for Papa. Other input given was for the 4 girls to look girlie, and the piece will be placed somewhere on a 7ft wide wall. The sawfish (papa) is about 3ft long, and the family is grouped here for a square (Instagram) photo; ultimate placement is up to their owners 😁 Plenty of details, but I'm trying to keep this short and sweet. Available now, please DM me with a reasonable offer 🙏🏼. About a month ago, my buddy @scott_raabe1 tagged me for a #showmeyourtip and I did (my MIG gun tip) along with 🔷Just The Tip🔷here. Gratefully, there were quite a few likes and comments on the original post, so I've since cleaned it up, heat treated, added a washer on the back for wall display, and clear coated it. Measurements are approximately 6"x6.5"; steel is 1/8" thick; letters are MIG weld filler (steel). Sharpness, crop, and rotation are the only edits applied to this photo.
