I like this one a lot it’s pretty uncertain in its design

I am so happy with this one, I love how the tornado came out! (: I’ve been experimenting with more charcoal looking artwork. Preferring it because details gnaw through me… lol
Whatever's wrong with me
I will take to bed
I give in so easy
Nature chews on me
Little death like lead
Poisonous and heavy
It has always been this way
It has always been this way

The depth of Ethel Cain’s work is something I really appreciate. People make jokes about everything, but her music goes into very dark themes in ways that are genuinely difficult to do. It’s hard to handle traumatic themes with care while still exploring the darkest parts of them and being careful not to make it come across as “trauma porn”. Songs like Crying During Sex, Hard Times, Strangers, Head in the Wall, Amber Waves, Knuckle Velvet, Ptolemaea, all have very intense themes, yet are so emotionally impactful in a way that people can find comfort in them and it turns into something that heals and I believe that’s what makes some art so valuable.
just go easy on me
