Make Over Project

In the past few months, I have gone over each of the residents of every world and gave them makeovers. I altered body shapes to appear more realistic and gave them new outfits to make them reflect more average everyday people. There was no CC used to make these sims and only the DLC required for the world they live in was used to outfit them (and base game).

Cumulus Default Skin for Spellcasters

I had edited the non-defaults of @disorganaized​ Cumulus skin to allow spellcasters, but I have received requests to do the default version as well. With permission from disorganaized I have done the same for the defaults.

Emotional Magic Mod

 This is a rework of a mod I had created for myself in my game. In the previous version I got over confident with my abilities and tweaked too many “features” that lead to glitches. This version has been simplified and does not affect as many aspects of the game. You are welcome to try out the mod for yourself and any feedback you are willing to share is welcome.

The main function of this mod alters how spellcaster charge is gained and lost. Instead of spellcasters becoming overloaded from using their magic their emotions and moods have a greater role. With Emotional Magic installed strong emotions like anger and sadness produce huge charge spikes that can leave a spellcaster overcharged if they experience too many negative emotions. On the other hand spellcasters that learn to master their abilities and keep positive in life stand to have greater control over their magical charge.

The building itch has taken hold. The new Eco-Living expansion has gotten me rethinking what to build with to make certain towns more eco friendly or industrial. So I started back to the basics in Willow Creek and renovated all the buildings in the Crawdad Quarter. I only used base game content and each lot has a specific foot-print if you have Eco-Living installed. Half of the lots will be green and the other half are industrial.

I got the itch to mess around building in the new pack and I started by renovating The Caboose in Evergreen Harbor. I used only base game and Eco-Living objects (No CC). I treated the renovation like a shell challenge and kept all walls while adding new clutter and decor as well as activities.

Before the Eco Lifestyle Expansion drops I started to do a little thinking and jotted down some ideas for what I have been working on. I’ve only worked the beginning of the basics. I have a long way to go and much to learn in the way of mod making, but I figured I would share to see if anyone is interested. I have a previous version of the mod on my patreon, but it needs some work. People are welcome to try it out and give me feedback. I plan on working on it more following the patch for Eco Lifestyle.
