“Wouldn’t dream of it.” He smiled as he heard Miles laugh. “We’re not perfect, and there’s nothing wrong with being a little lazy. Nope, I said amazing, and I’m never gonna stop thinking that.” Lark snickered as he nudged the other slightly, a blush quick on his cheeks. “Nah, I’m all real. I don’t know whether to say I’m sorry, or to congratulate you. I hear some people like being doped up. Never been one to try it myself, and not really my thing, but I’m not judging. You’re cute.”
“Are you always this positive or did something magnificent just happen in your life?” Miles stared at him with almost disbelief. Chicago had grown into a glum city, so seeing people look on the bright side like that was rare to him. “Being doped up is alright.” he admitted, with a cheeky smile. “Though, I prefer only taking medication when it’s critically needed. I promise I’m not an addict.” his smile only widened at the compliment. “So are you.”
