We kind of photobombed them during a group photo. Their tour guide was kind enough to use my phone to take the shot.

Was at the FedEx/DHL shop by 8:50. Google Maps said open Sat at 9 am. Nope! Closed weekends.

So went to the post office. Roberto had English and I enough Italian and German to box up my daypack, boots and a few other loose items and do all the customs paperwork in about 45 mins - score!

Had pizza in the main piazza - looked like a bulkier 7 Dials. Bar inside the hotel looks like Chicago Athletic.

I’m standing in the open door, looking into this elevator. Yes, there's an upholstered bench inside the wood-paneled (incl ceiling) lift. A first for me, to be sure.

Turns out the bidet was a good place to get the considerably tenacious hike mud off the sticks so I could pack them.
