Endings are not always the end

Hearts may be shattered, promises may be broken, relationships may be over and feelings may fade; but memories will remain, words will last and photos will be kept.

I believe that endings are not really the end. They are merely a transition from one phase of people’s lives to another. They are the paper thin divider from the period to the capital letter of the next chapter. Transitioning can cause mixed feelings of sadness, anger, grief, relief and even confusion. But behind every transition is the capital letter of the first word of the next phase, waiting to be read, waiting to be spoken, waiting to be felt. Everything behind these chapters might be cloudy and blurry; what lies beyond might be scary and overwhelming in the beginning... but as you go through every chapter, every transition and every ending in life... I believe a silver lining is waiting for you at the finish.

And the finish is where everything fits perfectly into place. Every explanation of every happening is revealed. This is where you don’t question anymore. This is where you just sit down, smile, sigh... and be thankful of the life you are given.
