Hi everyone! I just wanted to let you all know that I will be very busy over the next four days (but especially Friday and Saturday) and for that reason will be on less than I usually am. I’ll still be around, of course, and will still answer questions and accept applications all of those days, but might be slower to update pages than I generally am - I don’t anticipate that any of this will be an issue it all, but wanted to give you all a head’s up just in case.

And a second update: I’m thinking that there will be an event next weekend! It will likely be a grand ball, and other surrounding events, taking place at one of the other chateaux belonging to the French royal family. If you like, you can incorporate characters learning of this event (the French royal family are known for their huge wealth and their use of such celebrations in politics) into starters and such.

I’m afraid I may not be interpreting your question correctly. If you’re asking whether you can apply for the consort of a royal who is not currently taken, then yes, that’s perfectly fine. But, if you’re interested in applying for the spouse of a royal who is a taken character and has no wanted connection for their spouse, then you must contact them first to see if they are interested in that kind of position. Please let me know if I’ve completely misunderstood your question!
