“i’m not greedy.” he states with another pout. “first of all, i always get my work done. you don’t need to worry about that. just because i’m pretty doesn’t mean i’m dumb.” he scoffs with a faint laugh. jd was right, roman took any and every opportunity to avoid his responsibilities. “besides, the sooner you pay attention to me the sooner i’ll get my report done.”

“oh, i didn’t know you were stopping by.” despite her efforts she could feel her lips tugging into a small smile as she looks up at him, trying way too hard to mask her feelings. nobody needed to know, especially not him. she steps away from her door, quietly gesturing for him to come inside before any of her neighbors noticed. the last thing she needed was for them to blab to her boyfriend about this.

‘i’m glad to see you,’ is what she wanted to say but she refrained from doing so. she shouldn’t have even invited him inside to begin with but, unfortunately for her, she couldn’t resist. instinctively she steps forward to hug him but the moment she began to raise her arms she realised what she was doing and quickly put a halt to her actions and took a step back. “so...is there any reason you decided to pay me a visit?”

“you’re not paying attention to me.” his lips curl into a pout as he desperately tries to catch jd’s attention. roman could barley go five minutes without someone at least acknowledging his existence. “it’s whatever, it’s not like i actually need affection or anything.” he sighs, a bit too dramatically, as he slumps down into his chair. “i’ll just sit here and suffer i guess.”
