I've been thinking about lot about cheren x rakshasa yuri for some reason... i feel like they'd get along... two girls who have become so unhinged and almost completely lost themselves/forcibly try to rid themselves of their personal individual identity due to pain and trauma associated with it (rakshasa as an escaped jar shaman theory, cheren as a disabled trans woman/whatever backstory i decide to give her idk yet) the only two people who could Get and maybe be able to relax with each other...

if you think about it fromsoft technically stole this concept that went into messmer from me. i literally made an oc (ephemera) who had several parts of her body re-made and replaced by her father (including her eyes which were fashioned with glintstone irises) just like messmer's false eye from marika... i invented her before SOTE came out ☝🙄

I love having 1-2 OCs that I talk about constantly and which hog all the spotlight, then occasionally talk about an OC that nobody’s ever heard of before like a whale momentarily breaching the water and then disappearing, never to be seen again for like another 6 months

this is relevant to ocs bc i've been thinking of hyacinth more and working on her especially post-utena but then i was thinking about touga/kozue/shiori parallels and then furthering the themes w/ nanami like. touga and kozue first of all being the Hypersexual Sibling who's very aware of the contrast between them and their more innocent sibling. so it makes sense that they'd sleep together both with the goal to mess with miki... but then shiori also being someone who tends to get with other people For A Reason other than lust/love similarly to kozue and touga in certain moments, shiori being the one to play against touga in the movie... shiori turning into the butterflies that represent touga's assault symbolizing how his hypersexuality gnaws away at a repressed part of himself and in a way it's compulsory... then the vermin episode where nanami says something about being another fly in a swarm, just the notion that all of touga's girlfriends and admirers are vermin... back to this image of it eating away at a part of him even if it isn't concious + he's doing it literally on purpose to try to get himself status like akio... degrading his soul... and back to kozue and shiori, both of them being black rose duelists eventually... ugh. there's just something very interesting about these three characters up against each other...

I'm always embarrassed by this but i think if it weren't My Story i would think it's so cool, but I never talk abt it bc i'm shy... but the mountain village Tenanye is originally from is called Spokespeak... as in Spokes Peak, as in a spiky mountaintop. But ofc the play on words is also Spoke Speak... bc it is kind of a mysterious village with ties to the natural elements of thunder and darkness... I haven't decided which, if not both LOL. idk if the term spoke was even around for it to be Accurate but it's fantasy and i just am attached to it... even if i'm EMBARRASSED!!! by my little pun.

give them a variety of exes. give them relationships that shaped who they are but did not last. give them people they tried very hard to love but it didn't work out. give them situationships that taught them things. give them something deep that was real but could not endure. things that hurt. things that ended amicably. people with whom hot passion cooled to warm affection and became undying friendship.

no more first and only. give me the context of what made them know the next or one after was final and right.

LOOOOOL. sorry i just like Connecting and playing touys

sorry I have terrible oc brain again but since minthe is my canon arisen who goes thru the story as we see it...

ashera would be like 4 when julien is also in gransys... but I think neither he or anye knew she was pregnant again when she fled and minthe probably wouldn't mention it... (her and julien have met although minthe was a teenager when he last saw her) in my World an extra part of his motivation to come to gransys is that he tracked Anye there and is looking for answers...

I'm thinking now that she just quietly killed the kids and then left so julien doesn't Know if she did it but is highly suspect ... part of him wants answers so there's probably a confrontation between him and minthe but sadly he will find that anye disappeared off the shore of cassardis one day never to return 💔

I think him not finding out about ashera then, but later in her life when she's found herself a bit more is more compelling to me than whatever would happen if he found out who she was when she was 4 or 5... she'd probably end up going back to voldoa with him but I want her to grow up in cassardis... but I think them meeting when she's an adult Would be compelling in a "wow I was in this country and village when you were 4 and things could've been so different had I known..."

going over note lore documents and SEMANTIC ERROR: julien is probably not like. Nobility nobility. but at least rich... idk if they'd actually have "servants" per say but hired help nonetheless. I guess I just figured he probably had close ties with whoever rules Voldoa since Mercedes is the king of hearthstone's daughter... but he does make no mention of it and he may just be prestigious or even manipulated his way into being the one sent to gransys to enact his Plots And Schemes

realizing tenanye killed her first two children not out of scorn due to a betrayal or something else like interpersonal drama... but just out of suffering crazy levels of postpartum depression and such... i think it's a lot more compelling and tragic if her and julien Were happy (on some level even if only shallowly) and that it was just some very tragic negligence of her mental state and the difficulties of having so many children and living in a whole other country as an adult after having already left her hometown as a child... just not the best lead up and she's not the most well adjusted girl... on top of never having a mother figure of her own to guide her or be there for her and make it easier... obviously she'd have servants to help as she'd be married to nobility BUT still she has to carry and push those babies out. I think it makes her a bit more human and sympathetic... it feels like the final puzzle piece bc I never knew Why she would do it... I just knew I wanted it to happen for Plot

sorry I can't stop posting today but I was thinking about ephemera again and i just think it was sooooo cool of me... to take an unbelievably random NPC with no dialogue and say ok he had a daughter that he used for weird magic experiments and now she's part glintstone/silver tear.
