so glad my most persisting creative muses are two characters whose hairstyles i cannot draw confidently or consistently

#i have to adopt an entirely different approach for connor's aerodynamic lego hairpiece vs hank's bouncy don bluth animation waves #even down to things like mental strain and physical tension #its like i have to be stiff for connor and loose for hank and there's probably a less upsetting way of wording that #with connor's hair im grinding my teeth and white-knuckling the pen and holding my breath #with hank's hair i have to relax and be more free and fluid and brave enough to let go of fear #i think i'm just mentally ill
