Remember when I said not too long ago that I had nothing planned for any releases... so about that, surprise! I’ve spend the past month getting the race release worthy and dealing with the Creation kit’s nonsense, random bugs everywhere. Since I started this project I wasn’t sure I was ever gonna release it but so many people asked me about it so here it is, I even added some new things. It’s a pretty basic release for now but it should work, check the readme for instructions (seriously please do).

For all you wonderful people who keep bombarding me with Draenei mod questions (this is my life now apparently).

Nothing planned right now, this might change or not. I am pretty busy at the moment and barely touch Skyrim at all aside from taking some screenshots here and there. “But they look great in your screenshots why not just release that?” They look great because I know how to hide the parts that don’t look great and know exactly how to make it work, the underlying mod is a mess still (creation kit is an ass) and needs lots of work which I lack the time and motivation for. This is probably not the answer anyone was looking for but this is exactly why I don’t want to make any promises with fancy scheduled dates and get peoples hopes up. Thanks for understanding and you may all continue beeing angry at Tumblr now.

Hey, I'm just wondering what if your draenei characters are using xp32's skeletons or if its a custom made from scratch/modified version of an existing one. Since draeneis have different legs than humans, I'd imagine that the skeleton has to be sligtly modified, right?

It’s a custom edit of XPMSE which brings some issues since the legs are different yes, but in my opinion beats the alternative of stiff legs or making a custom skeleton and having to redo every animation in the game and breaking compatibility with animation and pose mods.

Don’t mind me just baiting to get my post flagged. I might keep posting here but I doubt I can be bothered after the purge, and I will have to figure out what to do with further possible mods and stuff.

Hi, I noticed all your characters have really good elf-ears. I am using ECE and still haven't been able to get ears so good. What is the magic? :)

Hey if there was some magic for it I sure was not informed.I use Racemenu and export my heads from the sculpt mode, then I edit them in external 3D programs for better precision over sculpting and shape the ears. After that I import back into Racemenu and finish up editing.I take my elf ears very serious!

That would be a no, I don’t think all the required mods are even available on consoles.

Has it really been months since my last post? oops, sorry about that. Lack of motivation and other stuff happened. Anyways I picked up Skyrim again in the last few weeks and overhauled my draenei, completely remade the legs and tried something new with the skeleton (which was a major pain), new tail, cleaned up textures and more smaller changes.

I’ll probably post again more now that my install isn’t a complete mess anymore, or just expect me to vanish again!

Hi! I fell in love with your draenei characters and wanted to ask how you created the assets (skeleton, body etc.). Did you start from scratch or did you use one of the existing mods as a base?

Hello! The body is a UNP body that I chopped the legs off at the knees and created it from there (that sounds a bit weird uh...), I then ran it through bodyslide to make it UUNP.The skeleton is just a small edit from vanilla to keep it compatible with most animations and pose mods.The rest of the extras (horns, head tentacles, tail) is pretty much from scratch.I’ll put this other ask I received in here too.Anonymous said:Is there any chance that you could share your draenei mod?
