It was okay. I was going to see if Lacey wanted to do something but I don’t know where she’s been. What’d you do?

[Shrugs] Rented a couple of movies. Oh and stocked up on junk food. Pretty important if you ask me.

[Smiles] I think so. What movies did you rent?

The Breakfast Club, St. Elmo's Fire, Weird Science. [Smiles] You know, classics.

[Starts to walk and shrugs] It wasn’t a bad day but it wasn’t interesting. How was yours?

Okay. [Stuffs her hands in her pockets, starting to walk] How was your day?

[Starts to walk and shrugs] It wasn't a bad day but it wasn't interesting. How was yours?

I don’t think so. [Forces a smile] He’ll be alright, I’m sure.

[Kisses her cheek] I’m here if you need anything.

Oh. Thank you. I could stand to get out of the house for a while. Do you want to go for a walk?

[Nods] Yeah. A walk sounds good.

[Frowns] I didn’t know. Is there anything anyone can do?

My dad hasn’t been feeling the greatest, so it’s been kind of rough. [Shrugs] I’m alright though.

[Dances back into the room with the bag of food] Well, I don’t know what you’re planning on eating, but I have my dinner right here.

[Nods] I think so. She doesn’t hold grudges for very long, but we’ve never fought over something this huge before.

Oh, I know. You’re right. And I’ll talk to her soon. [Smiles as the doorbell rings] Oh! I’ll get it. [Hops up and runs for the door]

[Smiles and leans back against the couch, waiting for her to return].

Oh. Ouch. In a way, it’s understandable what you did… Or didn’t do, I guess. But you’ll patch things up.

[Nods] I think so. She doesn’t hold grudges for very long, but we’ve never fought over something this huge before.

[Makes a face] I didn’t tell her about the coma. I didn’t know how to. Anyways, she found out from someone else.

It’s a string of things that I’m not even sure pertain to me. I’m just who he takes it out on [shrugs]. It’s been this way since we were young.
