YuriAnnin MC Cut (Yuria is graduating from her “stupid” character, SHE said lol)
Annin talked a lot and excitedly here, so… I kind of had the urge to sub this part. + Special thanks to @mirokuu48 for always being so awesome ^3^ Note: Nothing major, just that the kanjis (the bit at the end) that I added on the subtitle couldn’t be read when I hardsubbed the video, so I’ll just put them here. “No, hold on, Hiwatashi consists of one kanji (樋=Hi) that look like "Tsu (通)” and one (渡=Watashi) like when you write “wataru (渡る)”, that’s why it’s read Hiwatashi (樋渡).“

Private Yabu: My private life is not interesting at all alright? I either eat with Chinen on the way home from work, or go to the sauna with Kitayama Hiromitsu before eating, or hang out with my hometown friends… there are only these 3 options. And besides, if I eat with Chinen, it is always bbq pork (laugh). Ah, but the other day it was rare that I went to eat tempura with Kitayama. For my age, it isn’t common to go to tempura specialty restaurants, but because Kitayama said he wants to go, so we went. The seasonal vegetables, and my favourite bamboo shoots tempura was really delicious and I was really satisfied! I personally think it is more important for “who I eat with” rather than “what I eat”, so I am not fussy over what I eat. But with a friend like Kitayama who is particular when it comes to food, I can eat delicious food without even spending effort so that helps alot (laugh) Hikaru: Do you know there is a rose that has the same name as Christopher Marlowe, which is the character I am acting as in my stageplay “The rose and swan”? When you search on the internet for “Christopher Marlowe”, topics on the rose comes out even before information about him. In contrary to the wild image of Marlowe, the rose is a faint pink colour. I bought the seeds of that rose, and placed it in my living room where there is good sunlight. But because I was too caught up in the stageplay rehearsals and neglected it, it wilted…. The other day it somehow managed to bloom a little and I was happy about it, but I really wanted it to bloom fully and place it in my dressing room at the theatre. I still have not given up, so I am thinking of ways to make the plant come back to life!
The hidden side of work Yabu: I feel very blessed when I see Yuto in the dressing room. Yuto is the one who looks most normal but actually he is the weirdest. He always grins while looking at me and seems like he wants me to say something to him. But, that’s cute of him (laugh). Also, aren’t there many topics on history on Little Tokyo Life recently? The reason is because I like history and when I get excited, the comments I make are very interesting. The show’s staff said so (laugh) Hikaru: There are rehearsals almost everyday, and we have already started using the set for rehearsals (*interview was at the end of April). Takaki announced that “I will create a lively atmosphere for the whole team!” and he really carried his words out, and has a good relationship with various of the co-stars. So I was just being sly and stuck around with them (laugh). But in my own way, I decided to have my own communication by “Greeting every single co-star and call their name once a day”. The rehearsals are really fun. Takeda-san is very kind, and everytime I act, he claps and says “That was good!! Interesting!!” and that encourages me.
Heart Yabu: There are alot of sad news around the world, and there are times where it makes me very depressed too. But I know the way to cheer myself up so it’s fine! I will just feel happier watching Ohtani (Shohei) and Ichiro working hard in their matches. Also, the presence of my nephew. The other day, he saw a newspaper for kids in his kindergarten and JUMP was on it. When he saw me in the photo, he said “My Kou-chan”. My brother heard from his teacher and told me. When I heard it, my heart went all happy. Hikaru: Honestly, my heart isn’t calm at all (laugh). The stageplay is starting soon, and I am not sure if I am too nervous, but recently even when I sleep, I dream about the play. Furthermore, the dreams are about my voice not coming out, or saying my lines wrongly and causing the audience to make alot of noise, they are nothing but negative dreams. Everyday I think “Ah, the rehearsals were fun!” and go home, but seems like my heart isn’t quite settled….
Something I want to peek into Yabu: The locker room during a soccer match. The actions and strategy of the players often change drastically from the first to the second half of the match so I want to know what kind of meetings go on in the locker room during half-time! I am really curious about that! Hikaru: I am sorry that I keep talking about things related to the stageplay, but I wish to peek into the head of the producer of “Rose and Swan” G2-san. His advice for acting, and even normal conversations are really interesting, so I feel curious about his viewpoints on many things. I am also curious about how G2-san feels about my acting, and although it sounds scary, but I want to know!

Yabu Kota
When I was in the 6th year of elementary school, we had a soccer camp. After soccer practice, everyone would cook curry together and eat. Big eaters and food fighters (competitive eating) were in trend back then, so we had competitions on who could eat the most curry. There were about 15 participants and everyone started at the same time! I was thin and small then but because I didn’t want to lose to anyone, I really really tried my best! But even though I was eating with the fastest pace among everyone, the moment I stuffed my mouth with the fourth plate, everything came out (laugh). I will never forget what happened that day. Even now everytime I meet my friends from back then, they will laugh at me and say “You jolly well know your limit!” Also, summer memories from junior days remind me of my stageplay “Stand By Me”. We had the play at Globe theatre at Shinokubo, and I remember walking along that stretch from the station to the theatre while thinking “So hot~!” That’s really brings back memories.
Last summer, I played with fireworks with my friends. It happened as we were chatting on our mobile messaging, we got excited and said “Let’s play fireworks tomorrow!”. At first, we went to a warehouse out at the suburbs to buy the fireworks, but there weren’t many so we went straight to the shops in town. We should have gone straight there at first. It has been a long time since I played with fireworks, and it was really fun. There is this app where you can take videos of words which you write with the fireworks, so I tried to be funny and tried to draw a shape of a pile of poo, but I didn’t manage to draw it properly (laugh)
My summer diary- 2018 summer
“Speaking of summer, it’s BBQ! This summer I hope to gather with my friends to have a bbq session too. Let’s have fun while grilling sausages and meat cubes!”
Yaotome Hikaru
The memory I have every summer is playing fireworks with Dai-chan and Yuya when I was a junior high school student. We went all the way to a specialty shop to buy the fireworks, and set off an uncountable number of fireworks. There are definitely more places to play with fireworks in the past as compared to now. When I think of this, I think I did spend my teenage years in a great period. Now that I have become an adult, rather than “playing with fireworks”, I would prefer to see them. Fireworks festivals, I want to go to those! Wearing a jinbei, and drinking ramune soda while gazing at the fireworks, that would be the best. Ah, I get bitten by mosquitoes very easily so I will spray insect repellant (laugh)
This summer I feel that I would be spending all my time on my stageplay “Rose and Swan”. Our rehearsals are in something like a warehouse, so once you step out, it’s like outdoor nature. So after a scene where I perspire alot, it feels refreshing when I step outside, but at that moment it also feels like everything feels summer-ish, and that’s nice. It is fun having Korean cuisine with the cast and staff after the rehearsals too. During those meals, we decide the way of calling each other. They are all people older than me, but for Arikawa Makoto-san, I call him “Ari-chan” and I call G2-san as “G-chan” (laugh). He said if you pronounce it in a hiragana-way, it feels like ojiichan (old man) but it’s fine if you pronounce as “G-chan”. I feel that I am not exercising enough recently so after my stageplay, I want to do muscle training and go to the pool, and do aerobics at the gym. There are also many songs which I have bought but didn’t have the time to listen to them properly, so I intend to work out my body while playing them in the background.
My summer diary- 2018 summer
“I want to have a bbq by the river with everyone involved in the stageplay "Rose and Swan”! We had actually talked about this, but they are all busy people, so this still seems like a dream…..“

Yabu Kota x Okamoto Keito crosstalk Theme: Our mischievous heroic tales
Yabu: When I was in elementary school, I often caught crayfish from the swamps near the school, cooked them and ate them.
Okamoto: (burst out laughing) It’s not like you were leading a poor life right? How was the taste?
Yabu: It was horrible (laugh). There are hygiene issues so good kids better not follow this example! So at that same time Keito….. instead of crayfish you were probably catching lobsters?
Okamoto: Is that your image of England? (laugh) I have experience with animals too though. And when I was in elementary school, I fell at the playground and my foot was so painful I thought I hit it on a stone…… but when I looked carefully, it was a hedgehog.
Yabu: On the school grounds?! A wild one?
Okamoto: Yup
Yabu: Serious? I can’t find another story to win this~ ….. Ah, I have one more. When I was young, I had wanted to keep lizards and praying mantis, but my mother doesn’t like them so she objected. But no matter how, I still wanted to have them, so I kept them in the postbox at home.
Okamoto: Uwah, that’s horrible! (laugh). You got found out soon enough right?
Yabu: Well, for some reason, no one found out~
Okamoto: That’s quite a shocking episode. When I was young, I had alot of injuries, and many fractures. Fractured while at soccer, and even while missing a catch when playing frisbee….
Yabu: I have many such episodes too. I fell down the steps when at the park with my elder brother, knocked against my friend while dangling on the bars, and fell down as a consequence, and also when I was a runner in my school’s relay, I was all revved up to run but I tripped on the rope and fell…
Okamoto: Wait, I also had a fracture from the bars at the playground!
Yabu: This is common after all. Now that I think of it, I had about 3-4 fractures~
Okamoto: I have about the same number of times too (laugh) We are the same when it comes to this!
Yabu: We have our heroic tales too right? The other day we had a long conversation on the phone.
Okamoto: Ah~ we had.
Yabu: Keito had something to ask me on his way home so he called me, but we just continued talking. The reception was bad and the call was cut off once, but I called back and said “The call was cut off~”
Okamoto: (laugh). Yabu-kun had called for delivery at home, and I thought “Oh his food had arrived, and this is the time for him to cut off my call!” ……….. but he just started eating while talking on the phone (laugh)
Yabu: IN the end, it was a phone call of about 2.5 hours right? In the end Keito said “I am going to the sauna now” and he was the one who cut off the call (laugh)
Okamoto: I definitely can’t talk in the sauna (laugh). But if I cut off the call because I reached the sauna, you would probably think “Okay then maybe i should join you” right?
Yabu: (laugh). That would make you feel scared right?
Okamoto: Fufu (laugh). Well, just a little (laugh)
Yabu: What! (laugh) Well, let’s continue to leave on our heroic tales from now on without bringing trouble to others! (laugh)
Yaotome Hikaru x Takaki Yuya crosstalk Theme: Our mischievous heroic tales
Hikaru: In the past, I could play with fireworks anywhere. Whatever the situation was, I would get excited and say “Let’s play with fireworks!” I did play with Yuya once too.
Takaki: It was when we were still juniors. We were also scolded by people we didn’t know.
Hikaru: We were (bitter laugh). It was often me or Dai-chan who would invite you. That’s really nostalgic.
Takaki: But I think I would like to play with fireworks now even I am an adult. During the tour last year, we played them at the sea in one of the prefectures. We did properly ask someone to bring us somewhere where we could play with fireworks, and I was with Inoo-kun and Arioka-kun.
Hikaru: Did you all have fun?
Takaki: We definitely did! It has been quite a long time I have not played with fireworks since I became an adult, so we lit up all the fireworks at once, and it ended in a flash (laugh)
Hikaru: Fireworks when you are an adult is great too. Speaking of that, when I was a junior, I spoke informal language to the seniors~
Takaki: You still speak informal language to Kamenashi-kun now………. (bitter laugh)
Hikaru: Well well (laugh). I didn’t know what was formal language then. So when I joined the agency, I immediately asked Tackey for his phone number.
Takaki: Serious? (laugh)
Hikaru: And then I called Tackey and said “I am bored now~” (laugh)
Takaki: That’s horrible (bitter laugh)
Hikaru: I couldn’t help it, I was a kid (laugh). But thanks to that, there are now senpais whom I can be friendly to without speaking in formal language. The senpais all looked after me kindly.
Takaki: Those kind of informal language are the kind you use because you respect them.
Hikaru: That’s right. Even though I use informal language, I really respect them.
Takaki: Our senpais don’t really get teased by anyone right? So they would unexpectedly seem happy if a junior would do that to them (laugh)
Hikaru: I wonder what about the juniors lately. I don’t really meet them though~
Takaki: I meet the Kansai juniors sometimes because I have a radio show in Osaka, and among them Ohashi (Kazuya) often tells me “Senpai, let’s go for a meal”. He uses formal language but his attitude is informal…… (laugh). But it is cute how he approaches me like that, so I am happy too.
Hikaru: I see (laugh). Did Takaki play any pranks on the members recently?
Takaki: There was coincidentally a photo of a gravure idol in the dressing room, so I put it in Inoo-kun’s cap (laugh). Well, this sounds like what middle school male students would do, and the members do such things sometimes too. Like the junior stickers that come with magazines? Pasting them on someone’s bag.
Hikaru: That’s so Johnnys (laugh)
Takaki: Yup. I am sure the senpais started it first. It is like a traditional prank, so everyone has to continue this custom (laugh)
Dangerous Q&A
Q1. A kinda strong and forced line to a girl you like, to make her fall in love with you Yabu: “Enough said, just follow me” Without giving the girl any time to consider, if you just confess forcefully, she will probably say OK. But well, in reality I will say something like “You don’t have to reply me now. Think about it carefully” (laugh)
Hikaru: “I like you” (he uses the commanding tone) I will just throw my feelings at her straightforwardly. Letting her think “Just fall in love with me instead of grumbling so much!”, I am sure she will nod her head at my confession!
Q2. A situation that comes into your mind when you think of “A dangerous relationship” Yabu: A relationship in the company with my female supervisor. Secretly dating my female supervisor, and even though she is strict to me during work, we can flirt around in the pantry during rest time ♡ It feels the best that even though she is normally strict, I will be able to see this side of her that only I know about. Hikaru: A secret special treatment A relationship within the company where we have to communicate in order not to be found out. Even though she pours tea for everyone, only mine will be special, and we can eat our bentos together on the rooftop secretly!
