regulus7:
“You sent Longbottom to St Mungo’s?” Regulus repeated, wonder in his voice. The auror was a serious target and the younger wizard was under no illusion, that if he had gone to fight Longbottom, he would be the one in hospital. On a one on one fight, he didn’t fancy his chances.
“Well enough. Got thrown into a wall but other than that I just dealt with the easier pickings. Someone’s got to give the mudbloods a scare.” He said with a small grin, although he did not think he had inspired any fear in Tonks. His hand clenched, thinking on it. He needed to get stronger. More notable. Someone to make his family proud.

It was almost amusing to hear Regulus’ response, and definitely didn’t help Evan’s ego stay to the ground. The man in front of him was younger, and probably didn’t have as much experience fighting and dueling as he. There was time to grow however, and he didn’t doubt that one day Regulus would grow to be a fierce fighter. “I sure did.” He boasted, leaning back in his chair and he took a sip of the warm beverage brought by the house elf. “Good job.” He replied, glad the young man wasn’t injured. “Heard from Andra that you retrieved the prophecy. The Dark Lord will be very pleased with you.” Evan complimented, knowing Regulus had started to fill the expectations everyone was sure he’d exceed.
