hey! i’m the anon that said about baekhyun and reader!! and yes i know bellamy and clarke!! i think it would be pretty interesting to see how the other characters would react if baekhyun and the reader did get together, alice would probably flip 😂😂
Oh, she definitely would 😂 Unfortunately, we’ve already decided on who the reader is ending up with… But Baekhyun and reader are definitely still gonna have that connection. 😅
I have edited part 1 of When The World Ends! There are... a few changes. But I honestly don’t think anyone gets on here anymore so I don’t think it matters!
Here’s the deal. I AM gonna come back and continue writing on here. I want to continue the apocalypse story, but I think I’m gonna go through and edit it and make some changes, so keep an eye out for that. I might put out update alerts? i don’t even know if people still use tumblr so we’ll see
Not sure if you are active still but will u make a part 2 to Kai’s story it was so good!!! Like the reader moves away someyhing crazy drastic???
Hello! Unfortunately, I am not active anymore. I want to be though, I want to come back and write again, but being an adult makes me feel a little weird to come on here and write fanfiction haha! But I will think it over some more, and try to come back for you guys! Thank you so much for reading, it means a lot to me!!
It was time for the wedding, and I was just as nervous as I was the first time around. Suho ended up inviting his parents. He was very stern with them and told them that if they don’t like it, they just shouldn’t come. To my surprise, however, they did come. They even said they were proud of him. I told my parents about the wedding, but told them not to bother to come, since they lived in the US, and it would be too much of a hassle if they did, but Suho insisted, and bought them plane tickets and a hotel anyways. I honestly didn’t care who came, I just wanted to finally be married to him.
The wedding wasn’t as big and extravagant like the first one, since we only had a week to plan, but our planner did a good job. It was held in a nearby park, and the party event was going to be in the park’s party room, and I was 100% okay with it. Suho also insisted that I got a whole new dress, instead of the one I had last time. He said that since he’s already seen me in it, it would be bad luck.
I looked at myself in the mirror, like I did before, and left when it was time to go. My dad led me down the isle again, and I was finally standing with Suho in front of me.
“No one is gonna run down the isle confessing their love to you, right?” He asked in a whisper, making me chuckle.
“I really hope not, and I hope it’s the same way for you.” I say, half joking. He smiled and shook his head. The pastor said his thing and we said our vows and I do’s and this time, actually got to kiss, making the marriage official.
~~~
After the reception, Suho and I immediately got in the limo and drove to our honeymoon destination. We just went to Busan, we couldn’t go far since Suho only took a couple days off.
Our hotel room was gorgeous, and even though it was really cold and we couldn’t go to the beach, there was a spa and heated pool we were planning on going to, but since we got there pretty late, we went straight to bed and watched a movie, made out a little bit, and when the movie was almost over, he started doing work on his laptop when he remembered that he had something due tomorrow, so I cuddled up to him and fell asleep.
The next morning, we woke up early, and went to the spa. We did the couple treatment, and it was the best thing ever, honestly. For once, we both just got to relax and not worry about work, or Suho’s best friend being in love with him or anything. After the spa, we went shopping, mainly for the kids, even though we didn’t know the gender of the babies yet, we kind of just guessed.
Once we were done, we went swimming. AND after that, we were exhausted, so we went back to the hotel room.
“Today was fun, but I could sleep for a good ten hours.” Suho said, plopping on the bed.
“Me too.” I sigh, laying beside him.
“You know what we could do to end a relaxing but tiring day?” Suho suggested, adjusting himself so he was looking down at me. I smiled, and wrapped my arms around his neck and we leaned into each other, before our lips could touch, his cell phone rang, interrupting us like it did more than it should.
“Suho.” I whined. He sighed and looked at his phone, and then answered.
“Hello?” He said, sitting up correctly. He listened to whoever was on the phone for a second, but stopped them from going any further in the conversation. “Listen, I love you, I really do, and I want to hear all about it, but, I’m kind of really busy right now. Can I call you later?” He asked. “I’m sorry. Okay. I’ll call you later. Bye.” He said, hanging the phone up.
“Who do you love that’s not me?” I asked, pouting a bit.
“That was Avia. She said Chen moved in, and she wanted to tell me about it. But that’s not important.” He said, leaning closer to me again, but I pulled away a little.
“I know you don’t mean it like that, but could you not... Tell her you love her? It’s just kind of not settling to hear.” I asked. “I’m sorry, is that dramatic? I don’t want to be that crazy wife, who everyone thinks is trying to control her husband.” I say, slightly freaking out a little.
“Sorry, all I heard was wife and husband.” He said, giving me a kiss. “I understand how you feel. I’ve told you before, and I’ll tell you a million times more, you have nothing to worry about.” He said, giving me another kiss.
We were on the honeymoon for another day, and then late that night, we drove back home. I liked being on the honeymoon, but nothing really beats being home to be honest. The only thing was, Suho had to go back to work and I wouldn’t be able to see him. Just because he’s at work, doesn’t mean I can’t visit him though.
The next morning, he got up early like usual, but instead of sleeping in, I decided to get up as well, and get ready with him. I turned on music, but it was like early 2000’s rap that Suho doesn’t know, but I made him listen to anyways. I got in the shower as he finished doing whatever he was doing. Before I fully got in, he stopped me.
"Look!" He said, excitedly, turning me to the mirror. "Your baby bump is starting to show." He said, smiling. I smiled too, and put my hands on my stomach.
"We should probably think up some names soon. We need to be prepared." I said, getting fully in the shower now.
"Speaking of being prepared, I was thinking-" Soho started, but like anytime he was going to say something important, his phone started ringing. "Oh, this is important, I need to take this." He said, answering the phone. "Hello? Yeah, I'm getting ready now, I'll be in the office in the next hour." He said, leaving the bathroom. I rolled my eyes, and continued taking my shower. Once I got out, Suho came back in. "That was corporate, there's gonna be a meeting as soon as I get in, so I need to go now. But, I wanna talk to you when I get home." He said, kissing the top of my head.
"Will you be home late tonight then?" I asked.
"Probably, the meeting is supposed to last all day, so I won't be able to eat lunch either. We might have a little break, but I'll probably just work more." He said.
"You shouldn't work yourself like this, you'll get sick." I said, worried for him.
"I'll be fine, don't worry about me too much, okay?" He said, kissing my cheek this time. "i gotta go. I'll text you when I can." He said, leaving the bathroom.
I finished getting ready, and then ran some errands while the maids cleaned the apartment. I didn't want to be in their way. On my way out of the apartment, I ran into Avia. I smiled awkwardly, and nodded my head to her just a little. And of course, we would have gotten on the same elevator, riding from the top floor to the bottom. The ride down was silent, and awkward and I was more than happy when the doors opened to the floor I was getting off at.
Suho came home later than expected. Which, I wasn’t surprised, but it would’ve been nice to at least eat dinner with him tonight. I ended up leaving him food in the fridge, and tried to stay up and wait for him, but I fell asleep on the couch. Like most nights, when Suho came home, he immediately would wake me up without trying to. I heard the door open and opened my eyes to see if it was him. He smiled, took off his shoes and put his coat jacket on the stand by the door.
“Did I wake you? I’m sorry.” He said, sitting next to me on the couch. “You should sleep in the bed, you’ll catch a cold out here.” Suho said, putting my legs on his lap, and letting me continue to lay down comfortably.
“I wanted to wait for you. Dinner’s in the fridge if you’re hungry. I’m sure you are, you probably haven’t eaten all day.” I say.
“I’m starving.” He said, putting his hands on his stomach.
“By the way, what did you want to talk about this morning?” I asked, sitting up a bit.
“This morning?” He said, in thought. “Oh, so I had this idea.” He said.
“Let’s hear it.” I say.
“This Christmas, how would you like to go to Germany, and spend a whole week there? We could celebrate Christmas there and I’ll make sure no one from work bothers me.” He suggested.
“A week in Germany!? Of course!” I said, excited.
“However, there’s one thing.” He said, making me slump my shoulders.
“Uh oh.” I said, scared to hear what that one thing is.
“I would like to invite Avia, and anyone else of her choosing.” He said. I whined a little like a two year old, and laid back down. “Come on, she’s still my friend, and I consider her family. I would like to spend Christmas with her too. And it’s not like it’ll just be the three of us, there’ll be another person.” He said. “And I’ll make sure that we all have fun and there’s no drama. Plus there’s a Christmas present I have that effects all of us.” He said, wiggling his eyebrows a bit.
“Fine, but I’m gonna complain about it.” I said. He smiled, and kissed my forehead.
“Good. I’ll call her tomorrow and ask if she can come.” He said, with a smile. I know I’ve been impossible for the past few days, so I wanted to make him happy. “In the mean time, I’m going to eat, you go get some sleep in the bed, Okay? I won’t be too long.” He said, moving my legs and going to the kitchen as I went to our bedroom and fell asleep.
~~Avia’s P.O.V~~
I got a call that I could come into work, I’ve applied at a near by cafe, and got the job, luckily. However, apparently, after the fight at the after party, Kai fired Sehun and he was now working at this cafe, but I was pretty excited, so I got up quickly, put my hair in a messy ponytai. I threw on a pair of leggings and sweater and headed to the cafe.
“You’re slow, we called you in like an hour ago.” Sehun said, pulling out two mugs from underneath the counter. “Get back here,”
I went behind the counter and walked to him.
“Okay, so I’m going to start with basics. So a classic espresso and cream.” He began. “Wait, put this on.” He tossed me a green T-shirt, that honestly looked terrible, but I didn’t argue. I put it over my sweater so i could continue working.
“Okay, so you go over to this machine, and fill the cup up like halfway.” He demonstrated, and I did the same after him. “This is the hard part,” He said. I was only half paying attention now, already growing bored. He put his hand on my face, and forced me to look at him. “I need you to pay attention, Okay?”
“It’s just coffee,” I said, my voice distorted due to being squished. I pushed his hands away.
“Just coffee.” He scoffed. “Tell that to my one million Instagram followers, who come to me for quality espresso art.” Sehun threw the towel he was holding in his hand over his shoulder.
“What the hell happened to you?” I asked.
“No cursing in uniform, now pay attention. So you just pour starting from the bottom, wiggle it back and forth, and then pull back. See? Easy peasy.” He set the cup down on the counter, and rang the bell next to the register. “Now you try,” he leaned his elbow on the counter. I tried but it just ended up a swirly mess.
“How is this easy?” I stomped. My phone started ringing in my pocket. I pulled it out, and saw it was Suho. “Ooooh,” I smiled, answering. “Hello?” Sehun took my phone and hung up. “Ugh rude!” He put my phone in his back pocket.
“Just be happy I didn’t put it in the blender like I did with the last guy who worked here.”
“Do you think you’re taking this a bit too seriously?” I asked.
“I don’t think so. I took finance too seriously, and now, I’m out and having a better time than ever, so I’m not going to mess this up.” He said. “Okay, Just watch me and figure it out as you go. I think you’ll catch on.” He said. I was still curious as to why Suho called me in the middle of the day.
~~Your P.O.V~~
“I called Avia, but she hung up immediately.” Suho said, putting his phone back in his pocket.
“Oh well, looks like she doesn’t want to go.” I shrug.
“I didnt even ask her yet.” Suho said. I pouted a little, and sat on the couch. “You’ll have fun, I promise. We’ll have a lot of time together, there won’t be any work, or distractions,” He said, suggestively, sitting next to me.
“We’ll have one distraction.” I say. He put his finger under my chin, and made me look at him.
“Avia won’t be a distraction. She’ll bring Kyungsoo most likely, and she’ll be too preoccupied with him.” He said.
“Sure.” I say, rolling my eyes. He pulled me closer to him.
“Don’t be like that. You’ll have a good time. We’ll have a good time. Who knows, maybe we’ll end up with triplets by the end of this trip.” He said, putting his forehead to mine.
“That’s not how that works. I’m already pregnant, I can’t get pregnant again.” I laughed.
“I know, but I can hope.” He said, giving me a kiss.
“Let’s just be happy for the two we’re gonna have.” I say.
“I guess you’re right. I’ve just become greedy, haven’t I?” He asked. Suho’s phone rang, and he answered after a few seconds. “Avia, hey. Why’d you hang up earlier? You have a job now? Where?” Suho asked. “A cafe? Well, congratulations. Oh, what did I call for? Oh yeah, so, for Christmas week, (Y/N) and I are going to go to Germany, and were wondering if you wanted to come with us. You can bring whoever you’d like.” He explained. “Okay, great. We’ll see you soon.” He said, before hanging up. “Avia’s in.” He said.
Love Is Complicated. (SuhoxReader) Pt.6 *NSFW warning*
Pt. 1, Pt. 2, Pt. 3, Pt. 4, Pt. 5
Suho and Avia went a long time without talking to each other. I was honestly okay with it, but one day, he came home in a really good mood. When I asked him why he was in such a good mood, he told me him and Avia made up, which meant we had to go to her lame ass movie premier that made no sense at all that she would even be in it. We would’ve went anyways for Kyungsoo, but still.
The premier was Friday night, Suho and I met at his work, and drove to the cinema.
“You look amazing.” He said, looking me up and down.
“Stop, I really don’t.” I said, feeling insecure about this whole thing. Suho laughed, and put his arm around my waist.
“I think you look amazing no matter what.” He whispered. “You’re going to take all the attention away from the stars.” He said, kissing my cheek, as we walked to the red carpet.
~~~
At the after party, being pregnant really sucked. I couldn’t drink, or do anything fun really. Forgetting this fact, I picked up a shot, and brought it to my lips, but before I could drink it, Suho stopped me.
“You can’t drink, remember.” He said, patting my belly. I whined, and put the drink back down on the table. “Let’s just go dance.” He said, taking my hand and leading me to the dance floor. We basically just grinded but not like the trashy way. Avia and Soo came up to us, and we smiled at them, stopping our ‘dancing’.
“The movie was great, you two were both amazing.” Suho said, hugging Avia.
“Thanks. I’m glad the nervousness is over with, and the adrenaline from just pure relief has set in.” She said, laughing a little.
“Well, nervous or not, you did really good.” I say, trying to be nice.
“Thanks.” She said, simply.
“And Kyungsoo. Who knew you could be such a dork.” I laughed, making him roll his eyes a bit.
We all kept dancing together, and I was honestly having a great time until a certain ghost from the past showed up. My eyes quickly settled on the drunken mess that was Sehun.
“This can’t be good,” I say pointing over to him.
“I’ll handle this,” Kyungsoo reassured me.
“You two should probably hide, stay in the back or something.” Avia suggests.
“No, I’ll take care of it.” Suho said. I put my hand on his chest to stop him.
“Kyungsoo is dealing with it, besides you have a company and a reputation to uphold.” I say.
“I’ll be fine.” He says, determined, pushing past me. I held the bridge of my nose.
“This can’t end well.” Avia says, watching the boys carefully. “You stay here, I’m going to go see if I can hopefully avoid any fights.” She says, leaving.
Sehun was extremely intoxicated. By the time Avia arrived, it was too late. Sehun swung at Suho sloppily, but managed to hit him rather hard on the nose. Suho stepped back, and was about to retaliate but Kyungsoo stepped in before he could, striking Sehun in the stomach with his elbows. Suho’s nose was bleeding, and a few guys rushed over to detain Sehun, before much else could happen. Avia grabbed some napkins from a table nearby, and dabbed the blood off of Suho’s face before letting him hold them.
“Oh my god, are you okay?” I asked, sitting next to Suho.
“I’ll be fine.” He said, closing his eyes from the throbbing in his nose. I looked over at Sehun angrily, and got up, walking over to him.
“You need to leave.” I say, pushing his shoulders. He smirked and laughed a little.
“Please, just let us handle this.” On of the guys holding Sehun said, still holding him back.
“No, I’ve had enough. This has to stop, and you need to stop acting like a two year old and get over it. You have no business here, and you know it, so just leave.” I spat at him, turning to walk away, but he caught my wrist, so I turned back around and slapped him. “Go home!” I yelled. Kyungsoo held my shoulders to get me to come back, and leave Sehun.
“Come on, sit back down.” He said, leading me to the couch. “You can’t go getting into fights either. You have twins to think of.”
“He just makes me so angry.” I say, letting out a huff, leaning back in the seat. I sit back up though, when I remembered Suho was in pain. “We should go home and get you some ice.” I said, moving his hand away from his nose so I could look at it. “The bleeding stopped for the most part, but I bet it still hurts.” I say, sighing.
“Sorry we ruined your party.” Suho said, looking at Avia.
“You didn’t.” She said, shaking her head. “Go home and get some ice on that nose. I’ll see you tomorrow, Okay?” She says, patting Suho’s shoulder.
Suho and I left the party, and went home. I went to the kitchen, and wrapped some ice up in a rag, and went to the living room to sit with him to put the ice on his nose.
“What if it’s broken?” I asked, examining it for a second, before putting the ice on it.
“It’s not broken, just a little bruised is all.” He said, holding the ice himself so I wouldn’t have to do it, but I insisted.
“You know, during the whole 9 years we’ve been together, I’ve only seen you hit another person one other time. And that was in college.” He said, leaning his head back. “It’s hot, you should do it more often.” He laughed, but then just cringed from the pain.
“I hope I don’t have to do it more often.” I say.
“That’s no fun.” Suho pouted. I smiled, and straddled his lap, wrapping my arms around his neck. He removed He ice from his nose and looked up at me.
“I’m sorry I ever did anything with that asshole.” I say, turning serious.
“Let’s not talk about it, Okay? What matters is that we’re together, and we love each other.” He said, moving a piece of hair from my face to behind my ear. “And I love you, so much.” He said. I smiled again, and leaned down to kiss him, carefully though, because of his nose.
“I love you too.” I say, before kissing him again. He switched our position so now I was laying down, and he was on top of me. He started to unzip my dress, but his phone started ringing before we could do anything.
“I’ll just ignore it.” He said, kissing my neck.
“What if it’s work, or your dad, or I don’t know someone else important?” I asked, I felt him smile against my skin, and he laughed bit.
“Let it ring.” He said, coming up to my face again. “I’ll call them back, it’s not a big deal.” He said, kissing my cheek.
“What’s gotten into you? You never miss calls.” I say, in a teasing tone.
“You’re more important.” He said, connecting our lips again. The kiss got more heated, very fast, and he removed my dress completely.
~~~
“Avia’s the one who called. She actually called three more times.” Suho said, looking at his phone.
“What does she want?” I asked, sitting closer to him, and putting my chin on his shoulder. He listened to the voicemails, and then put the phone back on the table.
“She just wanted to check on me. Make sure I was doing okay.” He said, leaning back.
“Well, that’s what I’m here for, is to make you feel better.” I say, feelin up on his chest.
“She’s just worried is all.” He said, putting his arm around my shoulders and kissing my forehead.
“I know.” I say, feeling a little jealous.
“We should go to bed.” He said, rubbing my back and trying to stand, but I grabbed his hand and made him stay on the couch.
“Let’s just sleep here tonight.” I say, already making him lay down, and cuddled up next to him. He covered us up with the blanket and wrapped his arms around me. And we fell asleep.
The next morning, I woke up, and Suho wasn’t there. He probably went to work, so I wasn’t worried about it. I sat up, and checked my phone, seeing I had a text from him, saying he was at work. I put the phone down, and went to go get ready. It was almost lunch time, so I thought I’d go get Suho lunch like I used to everyday. Since everyone knows we’re together again, there’s no reason to stay away from the bank anymore.
I walked in, and Baekhyun and Lay immediately came up to me. “Long time no see.” Lay said.
“Yeah, now that you’re all happy again, it’s like you don’t have time for us.” Baekhyun said, saltily.
“I’m sorry guys. I promise we’ll get together soon and hang out.” I said, giving them an apologetic smile. “Is Suho in his office?” I asked.
“She leaves us just like that.” Baekhyun said, turning to Lay.
“Yeah, he’s in his office... Avia’s there too.” He said, pointing towards his office.
“Thanks guys.” I said, walking to Suho’s office, a little confused as to why Avia would be there.
I knocked on the door, but didn’t wait for an answer to go in. Like always, Suho was on the phone. Avia was sitting in the chair I used to always sit in across his desk.
“Yes that’s fine, just make sure they get it by next month.” Suho said into the phone, smiling when he saw me come in. “I got to go. My fiancé just walked in.” He said, hanging up the phone. He walked up to me and gave me a kiss. “What are you doing here?” He asked, leaning against his desk.
“I thought I’d bring you food.” I said, lifting up the bag so he could see.
“That’s so sweet, babe, but Avia and I just ate.” He said.
“Oh... Since when did she start bringing you food?” I asked, looking at her.
“Since you two broke up.” She answered.
“Oh, well, you don’t have to do that anymore, so,” I say, setting the food on Suho’s desk. "
I looked at Suho a bit dumbfounded and he shook head a bit, suggesting that I shouldn’t start anything.
“You get to spend pretty much every evening with Suho, lunch is pretty much the only time I get to talk to him.” She says.
“You’ve had plenty of time with him, I think you’ll be okay.” I retort, crossing my arms.
“We can figure out a better plan, Okay? Please don’t fight, especially right now. I’m stressed enough as it is.” Suho says, trying to keep us from going for each others throats. “Baby,” He said, grabbing my arms and making me look at him. “I’ll have dinner with you, Okay? How’s that sound?” He asked.
I honestly hated negotiating, I just wanted to do things my way, which is selfish, but since he’s at work all the time, I rarely get to spend actual quality time with him and lunches were one of the only things we got to do. Sometimes.
“You already promised we’d go to dinner tonight... You said that today was gonna be our day, and we could hang out all afternoon.” Avia said. That whole statement didn’t set well with me, and I could feel my stomach churn, but for now, I’m gonna blame it on the twins.
“Oh? You did?” I asked, giving Suho a look, but he just shrugged in an ‘I’m just trying to make everyone happy, but I’m starting to give up.’ Way. “A promise is a promise, I guess. I’ll see you at home tonight then.” I said, kind of passive aggressive. I walked out of Suho’s office without saying goodbye, and went to Lay’s desk, sitting down a bit over dramatically so he’d look at me.
“Tough meeting?” He asked, sarcastically.
“My fiancé is being taken away from me by his best friend.” I said, putting my head on his desk.
“You’re being over dramatic.” He said. I lifted my head to look up at him.
“She brought him his lunch, AND is going to dinner with him tonight. After that, they’ll probably go back to her place, and watch movies all night long, and he won’t come home, and I won’t be able to see him until the next night.” I complained.
“Well, you are with him 24/7 now, so maybe a little separation for one night will be good. You’re about to spend the rest of your life with this man and his kids. Enjoy your time off.” He said, patting my head.
“What are you doing tonight? We can get Baek and hang out.” I suggested.
“I should say I’m not free, since you’re only using us because you’re lonely, but I miss hanging out with you so I’m free.” He said.
“I’m not using you.” I said, giving him a look.
“Sure.” He said, sarcastically. “I’ll tell Baekhyun and we’ll be over when we get off tonight.” He said.
“Movie night?” I asked. He made a face like he was thinking and then nodded. “Scary or funny?” I asked.
“Both.” He answered.
“Cool, I’ll go pick out movies and you tell Baek, and bring snacks.” I said, getting up from my seat, and leaving. I went back to the house and started queuing up movies on Netflix to watch for tonight. Suho texted me a few times, apologizing for today, but I was being a little salty.
Suho: Are you sure you’re okay? I can cancel if you want me too.
Suho: I’m sorry
Me: Don’t cancel. It’s fine. 👌🏻👌🏻
Suho: It doesn’t seem fine. I can come home.
Me: No, go on your date. Lay and Baek are coming over to watch movies anyways.
Suho: It’s not a date. Have fun watching your movies, I’ll be home tonight.
Suho: I love you ❤️❤️❤️
Suho: (Y/N)?
Suho: ...Are you there?
I stopped replying to him and left him on read. I wanted to be as petty as I could, even though it’s childish. But let’s be honest, when am I not petty? My phone kept ringing with Suho’s text messages, so I just turned the phone on silent, and put it face down, without reading the messages. Anytime I got mad, he would always just blow up my phone with thousands of texts either apologizing, telling me he loves me, or just saying random shit like dad jokes or vine references or just random words he typed really fast. He would do that until I forgave him, and it worked every time for some dumb reason.
~~Avia’s P.O.V~~
That night, Suho and I met up at a fancy restaurant in the Gangnam District. He was already there with a table saved.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to make (Y/N) mad. I missed you, and she gets to see you way more than I do. I guess I’m just not used to it yet.” I say.
“Avia, it’s okay. Things are very different from how they used to be. (Y/N)’s pregnant, we all need to make adjustments.” He says.
“What kind of adjustments?” I asked.
“I’m not sure yet, we’ll figure it out.”
I sighed a bit, and leaned back in the booth.
“What? You can’t be mad that I’m spending time with her.” He said growing a bit frustrated.
“I’m not it’s just,” I groaned a bit “I’m not like you, I don’t have a ton of associates or a boyfriend to come back to when you’re not there. You’re my best friend, and in a lot of ways, you’re all I have. I don’t know I’m just being selfish I guess.” I say. A waiter brought by two glasses of champagne.
“Well there’s at least one tradition that will never change. Thanksgiving with my family.” He says, grinning before taking a sip of his glass.
“I look forward to that hot mess every year.” I explain.
“Me too, my whole family in one room, getting drunk and passive aggressively screaming at each other; just what thanksgiving is about.” We laughed. After dinner we went to my home to watch movies and crash.
~Suho’s pov~
“Suho, you’ve checked your phone just about all night.” Avia said, seeing as I checked my phone again.
“I thought I heard it buzzing.” I said, looking at it again.
“It didn’t buzz.” She says.
“Wait, did you hear that?” I asked, thinking I heard my phone buzz again, but nothing.
“Suho, it didn’t buzz. Just enjoy the movie.” She says, pointing at the screen.
I looked at the screen of my phone again, and went to my messages. (Y/N) still hadn’t texted back, and I was starting to get worried. I looked at the clock, and saw it was 2am, we’ve already watched five movies, and were in the middle of our sixth.
“Is that really the time?” I asked.
“Yeah? Why are you so shocked? We normally watch movies until 7am and then we fall asleep for a few hours, this isn’t a new thing, Suho.” She said, giving me a look.
“Yeah, but the difference is, I have a mad pregnant fiancé waiting for me at home. I don’t think she would appreciate me staying the night at another girls house.” I said, starting to stand up.
“Oh come on, Suho. She knows we aren’t doing anything but watching movies all night.” She says, watching as I grabbed my coat. “She knows we’re just friends.” She continues.
“Friends or not, it’ll still make her even more upset. One day, you’ll understand.” I say, putting my shoes on. “I’ll see you tomorrow.” I said.
“But Suho.” She whines.
“Tomorrow.” I say again, leaving the apartment.
I thought about calling (Y/N), but figured she would be asleep, and I didn’t want to wake her. She’d probably ignore the call anyways. When I got into the apartment, I could hear the tv from the door. I took my shoes and coat off, and went to the living room, seeing the tv on, and Lay and Baekhyun asleep on the couch, but no sight of (Y/N). Letting out a sigh, I turned the tv off, and threw some blankets on the two boys. It seemed like they were preparing me to be a father already.
After getting some water from the kitchen, I made my way to the bedroom, seeing (Y/N) asleep on her side of the bed. I shut the door quietly, and changed into black sweatpants and a long sleeve grey T-shirt, and then climbed in bed with her.
~~Your P.O.V~~
I was awake the whole time. I heard him open the door, and change clothes, and get in the bed. He wrapped his arm around me, and leaned over to kiss my cheek.
“I’m home.” He whispered, but I didn’t respond. He sighed. “I know you’re awake.” He said, rubbing my arm. “Please talk to me... I’m sorry for making you mad.” He said, in a soft voice. “At least face me.” He said. I sighed, and turned my body so I was facing him.
“You’re still home really late.” I say, still very upset.
“I know, and I’m sorry. I really didn’t mean to stay so long.” He said.
“Look, I know she’s your best friend, and I know you want to see her... But there are lines you can’t cross anymore, and staying with her overnight is one of them. You two are.... You’re getting too close for comfort.” I say, a little hesitant, not knowing how he’ll feel about my complaint. “We’re actually getting married soon, and like it or not, marriage is a full time job. I’m talking late nights, long hours, especially with two kids. I’m just scared she’s trying to, you know.... steal you away from me.” I say.
“I know, baby, and I’m here, I’ll be here. I’m not going anywhere.” He said, trying to kiss my forehead, but I backed away.
“Don’t think you’re being let off so easily.” I said, making him pout. “You’ve gotta work for it.” I say, putting my hand on his chest.
“You know Lay and Baekhyun are in the other room?” He asked, raising his eyebrows.
“So?” I shrugged.
“Well, if you don’t care, I don’t.” He said, lifting my chin up, and putting his lips on mine. He ran his fingers through my hair, and slipped his tongue in my mouth, but I got a thought, so I pulled away. “What?” He asked, looking confused.
“I just thought of something.” I said.
“Now?” He asked, a little frustrated.
“We should get married soon, like before I start getting a baby bump soon. Like next week soon.” I say, smiling.
“Next week soon? You know how much planning a wedding takes, right? We’ve done it before.” He said.
“Exactly, we’ve done it before. We don’t need a big wedding, I just need you and a few friends and family. Nothing big. I just can’t stand not being able to call you my husband anymore. And I don’t want to walk down the isle, looking like I ate the whole buffet before the ceremony.” I explain.
“Baby bump or no baby bump, you’ll look beautiful no matter what. But if you want to get married that soon, then we will. I’m ready to start calling you my wife too.” He said. I smiled widely, and started kissing him again, way more passionately.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and pressed myself against him. He pushed himself up with his elbows so we wouldn’t be laying down so awkwardly, and then he adjusted himself so he was sitting up completely. I straddled him, and removed his shirt, which honestly I loved on him and wished he would wear it more. He started to kiss my neck, I felt that he was leaving marks that I would have to cover up tomorrow. He removed my shirt as well, and kissed down my chest, and back all the way up to my lips. I moved my hand down his chest and slipped it into his sweatpants. He stopped kissing me to let out a sigh of pleasure, and he furrowed his eyebrows.
“You’re like an angel with no wings.” He said, resting his forehead on mine.
“So like, a person?” I laughed, stroking him more, making him bite his bottom lip. He reached down to remove his own pants and underwear, and then took off mine. He started to flip me over so he was on top of me, but I stopped him. “Let me be on top tonight.” I said, getting close to his ear. “I want to ride you.” I whispered, sending chills down his spine.
“If that’s what you want.” He said, clearing his throat.
I guided him inside of me, and started grinding my hips against his. We were both moaning messes just a few minutes in, sloppily kissing each other, and running our hands all over each other’s bodies. We kept going for a while until we both got to our climax.
“I love you.” He said, out of breath, kissing my forehead.
“I love you too.” I said, laying down and cuddling next to him.
~~
The next morning, Suho and I woke up pretty early. We had to bring a cake to the family thanksgiving dinner tonight, and his family had a strict no buying from the store policy, so we had to make it.
Honestly, I didn’t mind because that meant we got to bake something together and it’s cute as hell.
“I need one cup of water, 1/3 cup of vegetable oil and 3 eggs please.” I request, reading off the cake mix box.
“Coming right up.” Suho said, handing me ingredients one at a time. He went over to his phone and hooked it up to the Bluetooth speaker, picking music to be played as we baked.
“Whats all the loud noise? I’m trying to sleep.” Baekhyun groaned from the living room.
“We’re baking some cakes, you and Lay should go home now. It’s thanksgiving, go spend time with your family.” I yelled from the kitchen. I heard Lay groan.
“Come on, we’re being kicked out.” Baekhyun said.
Him and Lay waved goodbye to us before leaving, and Suho and I went back to our cake. I started stirring and Suho sang along to the song playing. He came up behind me, and wrapped his arms around my waist, swaying to the music.
“Can you focus and make the second cake?” I asked, laughing a little.
“Yes ma’am.” He said, getting out another mixing bowl, and starting on his cake. I finished mixing mine, and put it in the pan, putting it in the oven. He put his in the oven as well, and turned to look at the mess we’ve made.
“Is the maid coming today?” He asked.
“It’s thanksgiving, we gave her the day off, remember.” I said.
“I really don’t want to clean this.” He whined.
“Come on, you big spoiled baby, lets clean.” I say, rolling up my sleeves.
“That hurt. That was unnecessary.” He said, being fake hurt.
“You’ll live.” I laughed. He pulled on the draw strings of my sweatpants so I would come closer to him, as soon as I reached him, he gave me a kiss.
“Let’s get to cleaning then.” He said, putting the mixing bowls in the sink.
Suho and I got ready after about an hour or so of cleaning the kitchen, and frosting the cakes when they were done. It was just a casual event, so we didn’t try too hard like we normally would. We grabbed the cakes, and made sure we had everything, before leaving. Suho’s driver took us to his fathers house, and I couldn’t stop shaking my leg.
“Will you stop? There’s no reason to be nervous, okay?” Suho said, putting his hand on my knee to get me to stop shaking my leg.
“Do you not remember last time we had dinner with your family? It was just a week ago.” I asked, letting out a sigh. “Are we gonna tell them about us getting married next week?” I asked.
“I haven’t decided. I don’t think I really want my family there...” Suho said, trailing his sentence off.
“What? Why?” I asked, giving him a look.
“Why have someone at such an important event, who don’t even care about their son or the event in the first place?” He said, looking out the window.
“You don’t believe that, do you? You know both of your parents want the best for you. They just don’t think I’m it.” I say, giving his hand a squeeze. He looked at me, and pecked my lips quickly.
“But you are it. And I wish they could see that.” He said.
“I know, but I don’t think they will, and that’s okay. We know we’re right for each other, and that’s all the matters.” I say, giving him a smile.
“We’re here.” The driver said, pulling up to the front of Suho’s parents house.
“Here we go.” Suho whispered, stepping out of the car. I got out as well, and he took my hand as we walked inside.
“Myeonnie!! My son, welcome home! I’m so glad you could make it!” His mother said, overly excited to see him.
“Hey, mom.” Suho smiled, hugging her.
“You brought (Y/N) with you.” She pointed out, giving me a fake smile. Suho’s mother also wasn’t very fond of me, but she hated me less than anyone else, so that counts for something?
“Oh, yes. I don’t know if Dad told you, but we’re back together. She’s pregnant too.” Suho said, a little hesitantly.
“I heard, dear. I’m happy that you’ve found happiness.” She said, grabbing his hand. “Now, go say hi to everyone else. You can set the cakes down in the kitchen.” She said, waving us along.
“So far so good.” Suho whispered, squeezing my hand.
We put the cakes down, and greeted his other family members. Not everyone was here yet, there were only a handful of people here. Thankfully, we haven’t ran into his dad yet. Before the dinner started, and everyone got to the house, Suho led me upstairs to his old room.
“Wow, they really haven’t changed anything.” He laughed, looking around. “The memories made here, am I right?” He said, sitting on his bed. I smiled and sat next to him. “Remember the first night you stayed over here? It was Christmas break, and I thought it would be a good idea for you to spend it at my house instead of staying at the dorms the whole break.” He said, reminiscing.
“I remember. It was the first time I met your parents and they weren’t happy when you brought me home instead of Avia.” I said.
“I felt the same way.” He joked. I slapped his arm, and pouted. He wrapped his arm around my shoulders and laughed. “I’m just kidding.” He said.
“We should go back downstairs, I’m sure people are wondering where the famous Myeonie is.” I said, standing up, and taking his hands.
“I hate that name.” He said, scrunching his face and standing up as well. He gave me a kiss on the forehead, before we went back down. As we walked down the stairs, I spotted Avia and instantly felt a knot in my stomach.
“Avia, you made it.” Suho said, hugging her. I stood there awkwardly as they talked. “Where’s Kyungsoo?” Suho asked, looking around her.
“He couldn’t make it tonight, he had a photo shoot.” She says. “So, I brought Chen instead. I hope you don’t mind, but I didn’t want to come by myself.” She says, pointing to Chen who was being his charismatic self with Suho’s family.
“I don’t mind at all. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen him. Since senior year of college.” Suho said. We all went to the same college. That’s where I first met Suho, actually.
“I know. I recently just got back in touch with him, and we’ve hung out a few times. He’s changed a lot. He’s definitely gotten more mature.” She says, looking over at him.
“I’m glad to hear that.” Suho said, smiling.
“Junmyeon! You see Avia’s here. It’s like good old times, right son?” Suho’s father said, coming up to him and her, and putting his arms around both their shoulders.
“(Y/N)’s here too, Father.” Suho said, looking over at me and giving me an apologetic look.
“Yes, I’m aware. Alright, time to get dinner started. Everyone take their seats!” His father announced, ignoring my presence.
Suho gave me a small smile, and led me to my seat, pulling the chair out for me, and then sitting next to me. Avia sits in the other chair next to Suho and Chen sat on the other side of her. The butler passed out the dinner to everyone, and we all talked somewhat happily. Suho was asked the normal questions he was always asked. Every once in a while, Avia would whisper something to him, making him laugh, and I couldn’t help but feel somewhat jealous. Tonight, she was getting a little too close. I looked over and noticed that she had scooted her chair closer to his, and she kept touching his arm. It really unsettled me. Chen caught her attention for a second to ask her something, so I saw this as my chance to talk to Suho.
“Hey.” I whispered, getting his attention.
“Hm?” He hummed, making a cute expression.
“Um, don’t you think Avia is getting a little close?” I asked, looking back at her.
“No? Why? Is she?” He asked, truly oblivious. He then slowly started to smile. “Are you jealous?” He asked.
“No.” I say, crossing my arms.
“You’re so cute.” He said, pinching my cheek. “You have nothing to worry about.” He said, ruffling my hair a little.
“Hey, Suho, Chen just said the funniest thing.” Avia says, tapping his arm. Suho turned to her, but held my hand as reassurance. Throughout the dinner, Avia just kept getting more handsy with Suho. I wasn’t too happy and it showed.
“(Y/N), are you okay?” One of Suho’s relatives asked.
“Me? Oh, yeah, I’m okay.” I say, giving her a smile. Suho looked at me, worried, and put a hand on my thigh.
The butler brought out the desert that the whole family made. After we ate that, everyone got up and continued talking to each other in various parts of the house. I went to the kitchen to get a glass of water, since I couldn’t have the wine that was being served now, and when I came back, Avia, Suho, and Chen were gone. I let out a long sigh, and went to the pool out back, and sat on one of the chairs beside it. I pulled out my phone and decide to text Lay and Baekhyun as I sat there. A good twenty minutes passed, before I decided to go look for Suho. The house was so big, I didn’t think I would ever find him, so I called him but of course there was no answer, so I just walked around the house more.
“Looking for Suho?” Someone asked from behind me. I turned around to see Chen.
“Oh, yes I am.” I said.
“He’s looking for you too. He just went outside a few seconds ago.” Chen said, pointing to the front door.
“Where’s Avia?” I asked.
“With him I think? I don’t know, I lost them a few minutes ago. I got distracted with how huge this house is.” Chen laughed, rubbing the back of his neck. “Anyways, Suho’s worried about you, so I would go to him.” Chen said, before leaving me to talk to yet another one of Suho’s family members.
I made my way out front, and saw Avia and Suho sitting on the stairs and her head was on his shoulder, which honestly sent my blood boiling. I fake coughed, and made the two of them turn around.
“There you are, we’ve been looking for you everywhere.” Suho said, standing up now.
“Mhm, sure looks like you’re trying really hard.” I say, crossing my arms. Suho walked up to me, and held my arms.
“We were, babe.” He said, looking me in the eyes.
“I was out back for twenty minutes.” I say, visibly upset.
“Well, you weren’t looking for us so.” Avia mutters. I gave her a look.
“Avia, not now.” Suho said in a calm voice, before I could say anything. “I was just telling Avia how we’re planning on getting married next week.” He said, looking back at me, trying to change the subject on who was looking more for who.
“Yeah, he was and I think it’s a terrible idea to get married in such a short time. Especially with how long it took us to plan the first one, which went terribly, and all that money went to waste.” She says.
“Well if you think it’s such a bad idea, then don’t come.” I shrug. “You’re just jealous anyways.” I mumble, making her scoff.
“Of what?” She asked, crossing her arms.
“Let’s not fight, okay? It’s thanksgiving, we should be talking about things we’re thankful for.” Suho said, trying to calm us both at this point.
“You’re jealous that I’m the one marrying Suho and I’m the one having his kids and not you.” I say.
“Oh please. Such a childish thing to say. Suho is just my friend.” She says, rolling her eyes.
“Please, It’s obvious you’ve had a crush on him for the longest time. I noticed the day we met. You’re in love with your best friend, and you can’t do anything about it.” I say.
“That’s a bold accusation, (Y/N).” Suho stepped in.
“Well, it’s true. Anyone can tell. You sure don’t hide it. Especially lately with how handsy you’re being with him.” I say, holding onto his arm.
“God. You’re so full of it. I am not in love with Suho.” She says.
“You’re totally in love with Suho.” Chen said, coming outside now.
“If I was in love with him I would’ve made a move years before you ever showed up.” She snapped.
“Face it, you’re helpless.” I crossed my arms, and I could feel her eyes burning through me.
“Are you in kindergarten? If I liked Suho I would’ve been with him. Everyone excepted it, even we did for a while but that simply isn’t the case. You can keep trying to force this narrative but I’m not having it,” She says, turning to leave.
“Alright, come on, that’s enough.” Suho said, trying to get me back inside.
“Whether you love him, or not, and I know you do... Either way, what you two used to have needs to be over now. No more sleep overs, or late nights... I can’t have him being over at some other girls house over night. Best friend or not.” I say, making her stop. “Like it or not, he’s about to be married, it’s time to grow up and stop acting like kids.” I say, angry.
“You can’t just take him away from me like that! Years of friendship and tradition... You can’t do that.” She says, turning back to us.
“I can and I am.” I say, walking up to her, but Suho held my arm. “I’m tired of sitting by while you throw yourself at him. He’s mine, so back off.” I say.
Suho pulled me away from her slightly.
“Stop acting like we’re in high school, Suho isn’t your property, you don’t own him, He is his own person who can make his own decisions.” She says, matter of factly.
“Seriously, you two, stop.” Suho said in a stern voice, getting our attention finally. “Look, Avia, (Y/N)’s right. We’re adults now, and we’re getting into the stage where we need to be taking things seriously. I’m not saying we can’t ever see each other, but me staying at your house overnight and you bringing me food in the afternoons at work can’t happen anymore. It’s not your job.” Suho said, calmer than how I would have said it. “It’s not fair to her and-“ He said, but she cut him off.
“Not fair to her? What about me? You think it’s fair to me that she’s taking you away? I barely got to see you in the first place. Now I can’t ever see you??” She says, tears forming in her eyes.
“Avia, I-“
“Myeonie, can you come inside for a while and talk to your family? They all want to see you- is everything alright?” Suho’s mom asked, poking her head out of the door.
“Everything’s fine, mom. We’ll be in in a second.” Suho said, giving her a reassuring smile. She smiled back, and went back inside. Suho turned back to Avia.
“I’m sorry. But I love (Y/N), more than anything in this world and I need to be devoted to her and put her first now.” He said, wrapping his arm around my waste.
“Yeah well I miss the time when I was the person you cared about.” She said, quietly. “This is all stupid.”
“Avia, it’s-“
“No, it isn’t fair to me. She can’t just waltz back into your life after hurting so badly just to take you away. When have I ever hurt you or betrayed you?” She asked.
“This isn’t because you did something wrong this is ju-“
“I know why it’s happening, it’s just like I said, I’m not ready yet.”
The small amount of energy I had was gone, and all I wanted to do was sit down, and relax.
“I know, Avia, but you have to be.” Suho said, in a soft voice. “You’ll always be my best friend, and they’ll always be a time where we can see each other.” He reassured her.
“It won’t be the same, Suho, and you know it.” She says, removing his hands from her arms. “She came into our lives, and ruined everything. Everything!” She yelled, looking behind Suho to me. “If it weren’t for her, I-“ She said, but stopped talking mid-sentence. A tear finally escaped, Suho wipes it away quickly for her.
“It’s like I’m watching a break up scene in a drama.” Chen whispered to me. I rolled my eyes at him.
“We should go inside now.” I say, pulling Avia and Suho away from whatever moment they were having. Suho walked up to me, and took my hand, giving me a smile.
“Come back inside and focus on having a good time, please.” He said, looking at her. I tugged his hand a little, to get him to walk inside instead of staying here talking to her. The two of us went inside, and made our way through the house.
“That was a little unnecessary you know.” Suho said, turning to me.
“I’m sorry, I got carried away. I just... I just see how much she actually loves you, and it worries me.” I say, looking at my feet.
“Worries you why though?” He asked, making me look up at him.
“Because, I’m scared one day you’ll get even closer to her, and realize you love her too.” I say, quietly, because I knew it was a stupid thought, but I couldn’t help but think it.
“I’m not gonna leave you, okay? It’s a little too late for that.” He joked. I gave him a look and he shook his head. “Sorry, not the time for jokes, I get that.” He said. “The point is, I love you, so much, and I’m more than ready to call you my wife. You have no idea.” He said.
“Yeah, but she said it herself, everyone was expecting you two to get together, even you thought you two would get together. How can you love me so much, when everyone around you wants you to be with someone else?” I asked, getting more and more insecure about the whole matter.
“Because, no one else matters but you.” He said, kissing my forehead. “Now, lets go talk to my obnoxious family.” He said, leading me to everyone else.
It’s been a year, and Suho and I have kept our relationship a secret for this long without literally anyone finding out, which I was very proud of, honestly. I can’t believe we kept it a secret for this long. The only problem is, Avia was officially home now, she had been back fo a while. She was done with her trip, and always at home. Today, however, she was gone for work, and Suho came home early because I wasn’t feeling well. I insisted he stay at work, and that I probably just had a small cold, but he got off anyways and came to my apartment to take care of me.
“You sure you don’t want to go to the doctor?” He asked, feeling my forehead.
“No, I’m fine really. My stomach is just trying to murder me is all.” I say, curling into a ball on the couch.
Suho sat next to me, and tried to get me to eat soup, but anything I ate, I threw back up. His face was filled with worry, and I could tell he didn’t know what to do in this situation.
“Tell me what I can do. There has to be something.” He said. I shook my head.
“Don’t worry about me, really. I’ve been sick before, I can handle it.” I say. Suho started to say something, but his phone rang. He let out a sigh and answered it.
“What is it?” He asked in his business voice. “No. I left early for a reason, can’t it wait?” He asked. “I swear to god if this is just one of your dumb ‘I don’t know what the fuck I’m doing’ things, I will fire you.” Suho yelled into the phone, hanging up angrily. “I have to go back to the bank, apparently, one of our clients backed out of something, so I have to go speak to them.” He said, taking my hand. “Will you be okay without me?” He asked, going back to his soft voice.
“I’ll be fine. Just go.” I say, laughing a little at him. He kissed my forehead and left my studio apartment.
Today was Saturday, so I knew Lay would be off, so I called him to ask if he would take me to the pharmacy to get medicine. He agreed and came to pick me up.
“Man, so much cool stuff here, it’s a shame that none of it will be bought by anyone.” Lay said, looking around.
“You can have two candies.” I say, rolling my eyes. Sometimes, he acted like an actual child.
“Two!?” He yelled, running off to the candy isle. I went to the pharmacy desk.
“Hey, I have the flu, and I need to get rid of it fast, because I really don’t have the time.” I said. “Don’t give me the soft stuff, I need the hard stuff. The Mariah Carey has to sing tonight stuff.” I say, whispering the last part.
“Of course miss Kim.” The lady said. “What’s your symptoms?” She asked.
“Well, I’m nauseous, I can’t keep anything down, I have a major headache, my boobs kinda hurt.” I said, holding my boobs for a second in discomfort. She looks at me strangely.
“That doesn’t sound like the flu.” She said, raising an eyebrow.
“Of course it’s the flu, what else could it be? I mean-“ I started to say more, but I turned my head and saw the pregnancy tests and everything basically just clicked into place.
“This counts as one.” Lay said, holding up a giant gummy bear made out of more gummy bears.
(Ten points to anyone who can figure out where that’s from)
~~~
The test turned out positive, and I honestly didn’t know what to do with myself. I threw away the stick, and walked out of the bathroom shocked.
“Man you were in the bathroom forever.” Lay said, putting down whatever random thing he was playing with. “I mean jeez, what took you so long?” He asked.
“N-nothing. I’m not. It’s nothing.”’I ramble. “We have to go to Suho’s Office.” I say.
“What? Why? I didn’t think-“ He started, but I cut him off.
“It’s an emergency!” I say, leaving the pharmacy, and going to his car.
He drove me to Suho’s Office, and everyone looked at me like they had seen a ghost as I walked through the building. I could see Suho yelling at an employee from his desk, Avia was sitting in the chair across from him. The employee left with his head hung low, and I walked in before the door could even close.
“Whoa, What’re you doing here?” Avia asked, obviously annoyed and ready to try and fight.
“I don’t have time for you, I need to speak to Suho. Alone.” I said, cutting her off quickly.
“About what?” She asked, crossing her arms, and raising her eyebrows.
“Lord Voldemort is back, and I murdered him.” I say, giving her a look.
“Suho’s over you, it’s been a year, get over it.” She says, rolling her eyes.
“Okay, she beast, it’s important, it’s about Kai and I need to speak to him alone.” I say, waving a dismissive hand at her.
“You don’t-“ She started.
“Avia.” Suho said, gesturing his head towards the door. She looked at him and then at me, and huffed before getting up and leaving.
“Okay, act annoyed at me, because your whole office is pure glass and everyone can see everything we’re doing.” I say, starting to pace.
“...Okay? But why are you here? You should be at home resting and not pacing around like a mad man.” He said, watching as I paced.
“You know how this morning I thought I had the flu?” I asked.
“Yeah, it was just a few hours ago.” He said.
“Yeah, well I went to the pharmacy to get medicine for it, and the lady told me my symptoms didn’t sound like the flu, so I was like well what else could it fucking be, ya know? Like obviously it’s the flu right?” I said, rambling again.
“Just spit it out, what do you have?” He asked, scrunching his eyebrows at me.
“It’s not what I have... but what WE have.” I say, nervously. “Suho... I’m pregnant.” I say, stopping my pacing to look him in the eye. He froze completely, staring off into space. “Suho? Hello?” I waved my hand in front of his face, but nothing. “Suho please say something.” I pleaded. I turned around and see Avia, Lay, And Baekhyun staring at us from Baekhyun’s desk. I give a quick smile, but turn back to Suho.
“Pregnant.” He said, finally. “What do we do? I mean, we’re going to have to tell everyone now, right? I have to study up on parenting. Oh god. I’m busy, like, all the time, what if we’re the parents that never pays attention to our kid because we’re busy and we only let the nanny take care of it?” He said. Now he was the one rambling.
“It’ll be fine. We’ll tell everyone, separately, we’ll be perfect parents and everything is going to be just fine.” I say, trying to calm him down. He stood up and started pacing too.
“I mean. A baby? How can we- what if we- I’m.” He said, putting his glasses on the desk.
“Let’s just wait to tell everyone until we go get a sonogram in a few weeks, and see what’s going on in there, and then we’ll tell everyone.” I say. Suho nods and take a deep breath.
“I’m gonna.” He starts. “I’m gonna pass out.” He said, passing out, and landing on the floor.
“Oh my god.” I said, bending down next to him.
Avia, Lay, and Baekhyun rushed into Suho's office, slamming the door open.
"What exactly did you do!?" Avia asked, outraged. She crouched down to Suho. He had woken up, but was still out of it. He tried to sit up, but she made him lay back down quickly.
"What happened?" He groaned.
"You just passed out for some reason." Avia explains.
"Do we take him to the hospital or?" Baekhyun asked, not knowing what to do in this situation. He isn’t the only one.
"No, he didn't hit his head, and he probably just got too hot or tired." Avia explains, moving a strand of hair out of his face, which kinda made me wanna punch her in the face. “I’m late for work, so I have to leave. Just get him some ice.” She said, laying Suho down gently, and leaving the room.
“What the hell happened? Why are you here? Why did Suho pass out?” Baekhyun asked, freaking out.
“Baek, please. Calm down, give him space.” I said, making sure Baekhyun wasn’t hovering over Suho. “I’ll explain everything later, I swear, just... get me some cold water.” I said. Lay got up, and went to get a cup of water. I poured it on Suho’s face, and he shot up. “Are you okay?” I asked, putting my hand on his shoulder.
“I’ll be fine.” He said, holding his head.
“Here.” I say, giving him a towel to dry off, and also gave him the ice. “Can you give us a second please?” I asked, looking at Lay and Baekhyun. They gave me a weird look, and lingered for a second, but got up and left the room, standing close by the windows. “Are you sure you’re okay?” I asked, worried about Suho.
“Yeah, I think so. I’m just trying to process everything.” He said, looking at the ground. “You’re pregnant.” He said, looking up at me.
How Suho processes life changing things is always weird. First he freaks out about it, then he’s happy about it, then he freaks out again and so on and so forth.
“Yeah, I am.” I say, smiling.
“You’re pregnant! With my kid! I’m gonna be a dad!” He said, excited.
“So you’re happy about it?” I asked.
“Of course. Do you know how much I love you?” He said, holding my hands. I smiled at him even bigger than I was before, but remembered that Lay and Baekhyun could see us. I pretended like I was just helping him up, and let go of his hands quickly, backing away from him.
“We have watchers.” I said, gesturing my head towards the boys. Suho looked over, and waved for them to get back to work.
“We’ll have to talk about this more when I get home. I really want to hug you and kiss you right now, but since everyone can see us...” He said trailing off. “We should get married right? I don’t want to be those parents who had a kid and never got married, and then have to explain to our kid why we never did, and they get jealous of everyone else’s parents.” Suho started rambling again. Like I said, he has a weird way of processing things.
“Suho, calm down. We’ll figure everything out later. We have plenty of time.” I say, holding him by his shoulders. “I’m gonna go. I just couldn’t wait for you to get home to tell you, and I love you, and I’ll see you later.” I said, leaving his office so he could get back to work. I really wanted to kiss him goodbye but because we can’t let people know, I couldn’t. Lay and Baekhyun followed me down the hall and out the building.
“Tell us. Tell us. (Y/N), tell us.” They basically chanted all the way out.
“Oh my god, I can’t. It’s just personal stuff that I have to deal with, and I’m just stressed out about it.” I said, running my fingers through my hair.
“You know, (Y/N), sometimes life throws us crazy curves. And, yes, this moment may be the biggest curve,” Baekhyun started, motioning a curve at his belly. “You’ve ever had to deal with, but just because your family is getting bigger does not mean that you can’t handle it. You and Suho can handle anything.” He said, smiling.
“Wow. Baekhyun, thank you. That’s exactly what I needed to hear right now. God, it’s so weird that you found out that I was pregnant before anyone else did-“
“PREGNANT!?” Lay and Baekhyun yelled at the same time, catching me off guard. “Wow. (Y/N)!”
“Yeah, What did you think?” I asked, confused.
“I thought you were getting a dog.” Baekhyun said.
“Well why did you go like this?” I asked, doing the same curve move at my belly like he did.
“That’s the sign for petting a dog that’s sitting on your lap. But pregnant!? Wow! Oh, that’s amazing!” Baekhyun said.
“Wait whose is it?” Lay asked. I closed my eyes and shook my head. They can be such idiots.
“Suho’s.” I said, rolling my eyes.
“You two have been sleeping with each other? And now your pregnant? Talk about awkward.” Lay said, looking at Baekhyun
“No, we haven’t been sleeping with each other. I mean we have been, but we actually got back together a while ago. A year ago to be exact.” I admit.
“And you didn’t tell us til now!? What!? I thought we were your best friends and to think, we helped you out in your darkest times.” Baekhyun over exaggerated.
“I had to keep it a secret. I’m sorry. But now you guys have to keep this a secret, until Suho and I figure everything out. I swear to god if either of you mentions anything about babies to anyone, I will drop kick you I swear.” I say, pointing at the two of them.
~~ Third person~~
It had been a few hours since the big news. Avia had come back from her work, and met up with Baekhyun and Lay at their desks.
"So how is he doing now?" She asks.
"He seems to be doing fine. Well better than fine, he keeps smiling at his computer. I wonder what he's looking at?" Baekhyun says, peering into their boss’ office.
"Yeah it’s a bit-" Avia watched Suho. It was honestly puzzling. "Strange," She says, walking into his office. "You seem to be feeling better." She says, smiling.
"Yeah I a-" Suho looks at her, and his face turned white. "Oh shit. Well you know I'd love to talk but I'm busy, and you're busy, and we gotta be busy in different places, and, so, yeah, you should leave. Not because I don't want you here, or like I'm scared of you or anything, why would you think something like that?"
She moved to say something, but he started rambling again.
"I'm not paranoid what are you talking about? No way, no one is paranoid here. You go on... and you do drugs, or gamble, or something else wholesome." He said, leading her out.
"Uh okay?" She turned back to Baekhyun and Lay. "What the hell?"
"You know it’s probably just the b-" Baekhyun began, but Lay kicked him.
"Buttload of uuuuuuuhh of uuh drugs... That he is doing." Lay winced at the end of that sentence.
"Right... I’m leaving." She says, shaking her head and leaving the office, quickly.
~~Your P.O.V~~
A few weeks passed, and Suho and I went to go get a sonogram, to make sure the baby was okay.
“Oh, there it is. It’s completely healthy, it’s still too soon to tell what the gender it is, but it looks like it’s developing pretty well.” The doctor said, pointing at the screen. Suho and I smiled at each other, happy to hear the news. “Oh wait... There’s another one. Looks like you’re having twins.” He said, looking closer at the screen.
“Twins!? As in two babies? That look alike?” Suho asked, shocked.
“Not exactly. Twins don’t have to look alike... But there are two.” The doctor said with a smile. “Now. You two comeback in eight to ten weeks, and I’ll be able to tell you the gender of the two lucky babies.” He said, turning the machine off, and taking off his gloves.
“Twins. We’re having twins.” Suho said, looking down at me. I’m sure my face mirrored his. We were both beyond shocked, and didn’t know what to do. “We can handle this right?” He asked.
“Honey, we can handle anything. The twins are going to be beautiful, healthy, talented, and smart, and they’re going to have the best parents in the entire world.” I say, squeezing his hand.
We left the doctors office and headed home. Once we got there, we had to discuss future matters.
“Okay, so I guess today’s the day when we tell everyone the news.” Suho said, putting his keys on the table, as we walked in his apartment.
“I guess so... What about are living situations? We should move back in together, right?” I asked.
“Well, I’m not having my pregnant girlfriend live by herself. What if something happens? Plus, since we’re telling everyone today, there’s no need to sneak around anymore.” He said, sitting on the couch with me following.
“Okay, that’s settled then.” I say, letting out a sigh.
“I think we should get married. Maybe not go all out like the first time, but just have close family and friends there, somewhere small, no interruptions.” He said, grabbing my hand.
“I would like that.” I smile, giving him a kiss. He took the ring off my finger, and stood up, bringing me up as well. “Suho, what are you doing?” I asked, amused. He got down on one knee, and held out the ring.
“(Y/N), I love you so much, and now you’re carrying not one, but two of the most precious things with you, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you, and start this family right. Will you marry me?” He asked. I laugh and nod.
“Of course I will.” I say, he stood up, and wrapped his arms around me, and then put the ring back on my finger, giving me a passionate kiss, before letting me go.
“I say you move back in right now.” He said.
“My lease isn’t up until next month though.” I say, pouting.
“I have money, babe. Don’t worry about it.” He said, taking a hold of my hand, and leading me out of the apartment again.
We drove to my studio apartment, and Suho basically bribed me out of my lease, and we started packing up my stuff. Even though I really liked this small studio apartment, I was happy to go back to Suho’s. I hated being away from him, and not being able to wake up next to him every other morning.
Suho texted Avia, Lay and Baekhyun to meet him at his place in a few hours. By the time we got done packing everything up, loading it into the car, and bringing it back to Suho’s place, the time for the others to get here was very near. We brought in the last box, and the three of them walked in.
“What the hell is all this?” Avia asked, looking around at all the boxes laying around.
“Oh, you’re here. Good.” Suho said, nervously. “Okay, I need everyone to sit down.” He said, leading everyone to the couch. “We have an announcement to make.”
“Uh oh.” Avia says, not liking where this is heading.
“(Y/N) and I have gotten back together. We’ve been back together for a year now.” He started.
“Excuse me!?” She practically yells.
“Let him finish.” I say, giving her a look.
“I know, you don’t approve of this, but it happened and I’m very happy, and I love her very much.” Suho said, putting his arm around my waist.
“Oh my god.” She rolls her eyes.
“We also plan on going through with getting married, and she’s moving back in with me, hints to why all the boxes are here.” He continued. Baekhyun and Lay has a huge smile planted on their faces.
“This is ridiculous.” Avia says, obviously mad. Suho let out a sigh, and continued.
“There’s more. A few weeks ago, (Y/N) came to me with some exciting/stressful/happy/painful/amazing news... The reason I’ve been acting so strange and seeming like I’ve been avoiding you lately is because, well, she’s pregnant.” Suho announced.
“What!?” Avia straight up screams.
“Pregnant!!! A baby!!! I’m so happy I could die!!!!” Baekhyun yelled in her ear.
“Suho, you can’t be serious?” She says, standing up now. “
Well, He is. And it’s not just a baby, it’s twins, I’m having twins!” I say, more to Lay and Baekhyun than her. The two boys jumped for joy, and came to hug me.
“Twins!? TWO whole babies!? Oh my god that’s gonna be so fucking cute. If you need anyone to babysit, I’m free anytime. Except for weekends and nights, but anytime during work hours, I can totally watch over them.” Lay said, earning a look from Suho.
“Are you hearing yourselves!? Twins?? And you hid all of this from me for a year!! Do you not remember what she did to you?” Avia says to Suho, furious.
“It’s hard to forget when all you do is bring it up.” Suho said. I could tell this wasn’t about to go well.
“Okay, See, it’s my cousins, brother’s, dog’s birthday, and I can’t miss it so, I’m gonna go.” Baekhyun said, noticing how much the tension was building.
“Yeah, me too. My Grandma is at the same party, and she just turned twelve so.” Lay said, leaving quickly with Baekhyun.
“Suho, I refuse to let you get back together with her.” Avia says, ignoring the two boys.
“Well, it’s already happened and you’re not his guardian so,” I start, but Suho put his hand out in front of me to stop me.
“You don’t need to be stressed out too much, let me handle this.” He said in a sweet voice to me.
“Well, it’s already happened and you’re not my guardian, so.” He repeated, with almost the same level of sass I had, but not quite.
“Suho, she slept with another guy, while you were engaged to her!” She argued.
“Oh please, you have no room to talk.” He said, rolling his eyes.
“What are you talking about?” She asked, crossing her arms.
“Oh don’t play dumb. You slept with the entirety of Kai’s bank just to get to the top, AND you even thought about cheating on Chanyeol with Kyungsoo multiple times, don’t think I’ve forgotten those conversations we had from last month. You’re even more of a slut, so don’t start.” Suho yelled.
“Suho...” I said, shocked. I was a little mad that she had done all that but still continued to call me out for my one (1) mistake, but I did think Suho went a little too far with that one.
"But I didn't cheat on him. I thought we were supposed to be friends. You lied to me for a whole year. If you told me, then yeah, at first I would've been frustrated but can't you see I just wanted you to be happy?"
"Avia I'm-"
"Save it, I have places to be." She says, before grabbing her bag to leave.
"Wait, there's a lot of explaining that all of us need to do please just stay so we can talk." I plead.
"Right now, the two of you are the last people I'd listen to." She turned her back and left the apartment.
I was trying to calm Suho down, when Kyungsoo came in.
“This was at your door.” He said, bringing in a box.
“I’ll open it later.” Suho said, rubbing his forehead.
“I ran into Avia in the hall. She told me what happened.” Kyungsoo said, sitting on the couch.
“You guys hid this for a whole year? That’s impressive.” He said, nodding. It was always hard to read him.
“We’re sorry for keeping it secret, but this is what I was trying to avoid.” Suho said, standing up to look inside the box that he said he’d open up later. “Yup. It’s everything I’ve bought her.” He said, looking through the box of clothes, jewelry and pictures.
“You should’ve told her earlier.” Soo said, watching Suho look through the box.
“Either way, if I told her now or earlier, it would’ve gone down the same way.” He sighed.
“It’s exactly like when you broke up with me.” I scoffed. “What a copycat.” I said to myself, quiet enough to make sure no one could hear me.
“She just needs time alone, she’ll come to her senses.” Suho said, putting all the stuff back in the box.
“She seemed pretty upset, maybe you should see her later.” Kyungsoo said.
“It’s kinda disappointing that she told you the news though...” I said, pouting a little.
“Well, I’m an actor so, I can act like she didn’t tell me.” He shrugged.
“I’m pregnant!” I say, basically screaming it.
“You’re pregnant!?” He said, screaming too.
“With Twins!!!” I yelled.
“With TWINS!?” He repeated, acting really excited like he never heard about this. “I’m so happy for you two, you’ll be great parents.” He said, giving us a thumbs up.
~~ Avia’s P.O.V~~
It had been a few days, Suho hadn't come to talk to me since that night. I regretted getting rid of all of mine and Suho's memories, bc now my apartment was completely bare, and overall extremely sad.
I got a phone call, and answered it quickly, without checking who the number was, "Hello," I said.
"Hello, dear. We just called to make sure you're coming to our dinner tonight. It is a tradition, but you have been so busy lately, we just wanted to make sure we didn't need to move it. It wouldn't be the same without you," Suho's father was calling about the annual dinner we had at his mansion to celebrate the end of the tax season.
I winced thinking about having to confront Suho again, but I didn't want to drag his parents into the drama surrounding the two of us.
"Of course I'm coming, I wouldn't miss it for the world." I say as happily as I could muster.
"Great, see you tonight."
I hung up quickly, and groaned at the thought of having to confront the two of them tonight. I wasn't even sure that Suho's parents knew (Y/N) and him were back together or pregnant.
It just hit me that I would have to go to this dinner completely alone, and since I gave back everything Suho had gotten me, I didn't have a dress fancy enough for the event. I groaned, and fell onto my bed in frustration.
A knock echoed through my apartment, and I secretly hoped it was Suho, but when I answered, I saw that it was D.O. My brain lit up with an idea quickly.
"Hey, I just came to check on you to see if you were feeling any better." He said.
"Not really, but you know what would be really helpful? If you could be my date to Suho's family dinner tonight." I say, brightly.
"Really?" His face lit up. It was cute how excited he got, and I blushed slightly. "I mean, uh, yeah, I can totally do that, what's the dress code?"
"Formal, very formal. Dress to impress." I say, simply. "Great, so just meet me here tonight." I say.
Great. So one thing done, now all I needed to do was go out to get a dress. I kept saying it was a family dinner, which was somewhat true, it was hosted by Suho's family, but a lot of executives and CEO's would be there including Kai, Xuimin, and Chanyeol so leaving a good impression was extremely important.
~~Your P.O.V~~
I knew about the dinner, I went every year with Suho, but this year I was even more nervous than any year before. Suho’s dad already didn’t like me, and he didn’t know that Suho and I were back together, and if he finds out I’m pregnant, lord knows how he’ll react.
I put on my dress, and let out a nervous sigh. Suho came behind me and zipped the back for me.
“Don’t be nervous, it’ll be fine, I promise.” He said, kissing my cheek.
“Your dad hates me, and after the wedding he probably hates me even more, and now I’m carrying your children. and he’s going to disapprove even more.” I ramble.
“We don’t need his approval. I love you, and I want to be with you, and that’s all that matters.” He said, turning me to face him. He gave me a kiss.
“Suho, He said that the next mistake you make, he’ll replace you with your brother.” I say, worried.
“He won’t. You’re not a mistake. Just take a deep breath and calm down, okay?” He said.
The doorbell rang, and he went to go get it. I pulled my hair up in a bun, and pulled out a few pieces. I looked at myself in the mirror. After putting on my jewelry, I went to the living room where Suho was and we left the apartment. We went to the dinner by a limo, and as soon as we arrived, I got even more anxious as before. Suho noticed and squeezed my hand. I took another deep breath, and we got out of the limo.
Suho put his arm around my waist, and we went to the room where everyone was. Suho’s dad came to greet us, but as soon as he realized I was there, his expression changed quickly.
“Suho, always nice to see you, son.” His father said, shaking Suho’s hand, completely ignoring me. “Can’t really say the same for you. What is she doing here?” He asked.
“Nice to see you too, Mr. Kim.” I said, giving a fake smile.
“Dad, (Y/N) and I have gotten back together, and I would really appreciate it if you would treat her nicely.” Suho said, pulling me a little closer. Suho’s dad nodded, and walked away without saying anything. “See, all good.” Suho said, smiling at me.
“I wouldn’t say it’s all good.” I say, spotting Avia coming in.
“Father must have called her.” Suho said, looking over at her.
“Let’s sit down.” He said, gesturing to the table. We sat down and Avia sat across from us, with Kyungsoo. Suho’s dad did his normal speech, and looked down at Suho.
“And now a few words from my delightful son, Suho.” He said, sitting down. Suho stood up, and looked at everyone in the room.
“Thank you, everyone, for coming. This dinner happens every year for the end of tax season, it’s the one time where all banks can get together and get along.” Suho said, earning a small laugh from everyone. “Everyone, please enjoy your food, and make sure you don’t drink too much, we don’t want a repeat of last year. I’m looking at you Carol.” Suho joked. Everyone laughed again. “Anyways, here’s to a good year for all of us.” He said, raising his champeign glass, before sitting back down.
Suho’s phone lit up, and he quickly looked at the text message as his father stood up again to make another speech.
"You don't have to be childish about this." He said, looking over at Avia.
"Oh, so, hiding the truth from me, so you don't have to deal with the consequences isn't childish?" She whispers.
"That was different, I didn't want to upset you."
"So instead of upsetting me, you planned to hide the truth from me forever, and then when that plan failed, you decided to attack me? Remind me why you are in charge of a multi-billion dollar company again." She retorts.
“You know you and Lauren would have fought again, and I didn’t want either of you to get hurt.” Suho whispered.
“Both of you stop. This is not the time or place to be doing this.” I say, leaning forward, so everyone at the dinner table wouldn’t hear me.
“Lauren’s right. You’re both acting childish, so just stop. This is a pretty important dinner, with important people, and the son of the actual largest man in Korea can’t break out into a fight in front of all these people. Think about your reputation.” Kyungsoo said, looking at Suho during the last bit.
“Just call a truce for tonight, it’s all we’re asking.” I say.
Avia huffed frustrated, she opened her mouth to say something, but Suho’s father walked over to us in his round around the table.
"The turn out is great this year, and already gotten a jump start on the next season." Suho's father raved.
"Wow that's great sir," Avia said, in a way where she was kissing up to him. Suho glared at her for a moment, before angrily stuffing a fork full of salmon and spinach into his mouth. "Oh I almost forgot, I know you're such a busy person I hope you, your wife, and Suho can all find time to come see my movie when it premieres." I explain. I honestly didn’t know she was in a movie. Maybe Suho told me, but I didn’t listen.
"Of course, sweetheart, we wouldn't miss it for the world." Suho's mother spoke up.
"I'm sure I have something that day," Suho tried.
"No it’s your day off, I checked." Avia smirked. Suho covered his eyes and groaned, annoyed.
"What is that matter with you?" His father asked.
“I’m just a little tired is all, I’m fine.” Suho said, taking a sip of wine.
“So, (Y/N). What have you been up to?” Mr. Kim asked me. I paused eating my food, and looked up at him, surprised he was asking. I knew it was pretty much a sarcastic question, and I didn’t know if I should answer or not.
“Well... Right now, I’m just kind of working here and there... I’m not really doing much...” I said, trailing off my sentence at the end, when I realized the only one who cared what I was saying was Suho and maybe Kyungsoo.
“And what made you want to get back together with Suho after what you did? Did you not have enough money working odd jobs, so you came back to him so he could support you?” His dad asked, I squeezed my fork and bit the inside of mouth to not say some smart ass answer that would cause a scene.
“Father.” Suho warned.
“I’m just asking. You never know with these girls.” Mr. Kim said.
“These girls?” I asked, the attitude starting to come out of me. Suho put his hand on my thigh, to calm me down.
“There’s no angle, she’s not trying to get anything out of me, we genuinely love each other. Besides, I work hard, so she doesn’t have to. She could completely stop working for all I care.” Suho said, holding my hand now.
“Not to mention, she’s pregnant.” Avia says, nonchalantly. It’s like the whole place went completely silent to look down at us.
“Excuse me!?” Mr. Kim yelled.
“With twins!” She said, pretending to be excited.
“That was not your news to tell.” Suho said, glaring at her.
"Were you just going to lie about it until they were born, and then decide to tell him? You two have a habit of hiding the truth from everyone." She retorts.
Kyungsoo put his hand on her lower back, and pleaded with his eyes for her to stop.
"How long exactly have the two of you been together since you've reunited?" Suho's father asked, bracing himself against the table.
"About a year." Avia says, before either of us could answer. "I was surprised too when they told us, but hey, if you're lucky, Suho will insult every aspect of your personality." She says.
I saw Chanyeol, Kai, and Xuimin had caught on to what was happening, but the people sitting further away were still oblivious.
“A year!? You told no one!?” Mr. Kim yelled. “Wait until your mother hears about this.” He said.
“I am a grown ass man, I can be with whoever I want, it shouldn’t matter to any of you. It’s my life, not yours.” Suho said.
“Getting back together with the girl who cheated on you, and announced it at your wedding, and now this. Of course it matters to us, it matters to your whole reputation.” Mr. Kim said.
“Suho wasn’t the one who started to cause a scene in the middle of this dinner.” I say, looking at Avia.
"Don't even start. She has every right to be angry." Kyungsoo finally spoke up.
"Yeah, I don't see why I'm being punished for trying to be a good friend." She says.
"You both just need to stop, there are a lot of important people here who will use this against Suho, and I know even though you’re mad at him, you still care about him." Kyungsoo whispers. Avia sighs, and bite her lip nervously.
“... And that, ladies and gentlemen, was the saga of the businessman and his mistress. Being written by... Kyungsoo, who is an actor but a writer on the side.” I said, making something up, trying to make it believable.
“Ah, yes. That was a rehearsed argument, and I’m glad everyone enjoyed it. Nothing was real, proceed with your dinner.” Kyungsoo said, going along with it. “Now, you two, zip it for the rest of the night. I don’t want to hear a peep out of you.” He said, sitting back down after the dinner went back to it’s normal chatter. “And Mr. Kim, with all do respect, please try not to cause a scene anymore. This could jeopardize everything you two have worked for.” He said, his tone serious.
~~~
The dinner had gone back to normal for everyone else, but at our end of the table, there was definitely tension. Suho and I decided to get up and talk to the others here, just to get away from his dad. Suho did all the talking, I was pretty quiet, smiling when I had to. After about an hour or so passed, everyone was pretty much done with eating. There was an after party, but Suho suggested that we didn’t go.
“Are you sure? It’s a party, so it’s not like we’ll have to talk to your father or anything.” I said.
“I really don’t think we should go. It’ll probably be better if we just went home and rest.” He said.
“Suho wants to rest? Wow.” I say, jokingly. “Alright, we can go.” I say.
We got in our limo and headed home instead of the after party.
This is my third try trying to upload this, so I hope you like it. I know it’s a little late for a trailer, since we’re on part 25, about to be 26 in a few days, but oh well.
Would you please not require email address when we ask for a story please I really ave some trust issues when it comes to this I can't just write in my email since I got lots of spam and harassements when I wrote it once in a website please I really want you to write a story I have in mind since like forever please and by the way I really enjoy your writings.
I didn’t even know that was a thing 😅 how do I take it off????
Update: There actually isn’t a way to take off the email address... But if it makes you feel better, I can’t see the email and neither can anyone else when you request something.
What is your favourite oneshot of all time? BTW ILY♡♡♡♡
My favorite one shot that I've written? Or my favorite that someone else has written? To be completely honest, I dont really read anyone else's fanfictions anymore, I find them to be pretty cringey and plain, an some of them need to find Jesus lmaoooooooo. Most of them are pretty predictable, so I stopped reading them a long time ago, but I still really enjoy writing my own!! And if we're being honest, some of my stories and one shots are pretty cringey too 😂 BTW, I love you too 💕💕
Would you consider not tagging all of the members on scenarios/stories that aren’t about them? Like there are already so few Yixing fics and your Suho’s fic just clogs his search feed, you know? And it’s the worst on mobile since the keep reading links don’t work.
I’m seriously in love with the series “i was made for loving you”! It’s such an amazing story, will you be continuing that story? Hope to see a next chapter in the future! Keep up the great work.
Sadly, the series is over, it ended at part 20. However, the GOT7 series that came after that is technically a continuation, the series just takes place before you meet EXO. I think the time line is a little wonky, but that’s okay 😅 I did notice on Part 19, I never put the link to Part 20, so here’s that ! And here’s the link for the GOT7 one!
Everything that’s happened between Suho and I, made the start of us getting back together awkward. The level of guilt I felt was really intense, and I wanted to do everything I could for him to trust me again, since I knew he didn’t fully yet. However, a few weeks into the relationship, everything almost went back to normal, except for the fact that we still couldn’t tell Avia, and I wasn’t able to visit him at the bank like I used to, because she was always there. But, since she was always out so late, I got to spend time with Suho at night when he got off work.
That’s where I was now. We were cuddled up on his couch, watching some random movie that was on the tv, eating popcorn. I looked at the time, and saw it was almost time for Avia to get home, and I let out a disappointing sigh.
“Avia will be home soon.” I say, looking up at Suho. He looked at the time as well.
“Yeah... I guess you should go.” He let out a sigh. “Hmmm, but I don’t want you to.” He whined, engulfing me in a giant hug. He even wrapped his legs around me, making me laugh.
“I can’t breath.” I said, into his chest. He let go of me just a little so I wouldn’t suffocate. “Just tell her not to come home. Tell her you have a hot tinder date and you need the house.” I say, holding onto him now.
“She would ask too much about what that hot tinder date was like. And I’d just describe you, and we’d get caught.” He sighed.
“Okay, so come to my place instead.” I said, pouting.
“I wish I could.” He sighed. We sat there for a little while longer, until Avia texted Suho saying that she was almost home.
“That’s my queue.” I say, tapping his back lightly. He whined some more, but got up and helped me up as well. We walked to the door, and I gathered my things. “I’ll see you tomorrow.” I say.
He looked at me for a second, before kissing my lips passionately. I dropped my shoes and my bag and wrapped my arms around his neck, kissing him back immediately. I almost forgot Avia was so close to home, but as soon as I remembered, I pulled away from him.
“It’s your fault for making us keep this a secret.” I say, giving him another kiss, and then another one and then one more.
“Goodbye.” He said, as I turned to leave.
“Goodbye, Suho.” I say, laughing a little.
“I love you.” He called out to me.
“I love you too.” I laugh, as I walked down the hall.
As soon as I got home, Suho texted me with news that Kyungsoo and Avia were going on a trip to Paris for some work related things? They were going to be gone for three months, so we had his place to ourselves, and we wouldn’t have to sneak around anymore.
Since she was going to be gone for almost three months, I practically moved back in with Suho. Most of my stuff was there, The pictures of us were hung back up, and I basically never left his apartment, unless it was to go to work or go out with Baekhyun and Lay. I felt bad because I couldn’t tell them Suho and I were back together, since they couldn’t keep a secret to save their lives.
Me and Suho were planning on going on a date tonight, since he, for once, didn’t have work. It was about time for us to leave. I looked in the hallway mirror to put on my earrings before we left. Suho came up from behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist and resting his chin on my shoulder.
“You look so good.” He said, checking me out in the mirror. I smiled at him, and finished putting on my last earring. I turned to him, and gave him a kiss. “You sure you wanna go out tonight? We could just stay home, and watch a few movies, and you know.” He said, pulling me closer, if that’s possible.
“We haven’t been out in a while. It’ll be good to get some fresh air. Plus, you aren’t getting it that easy tonight.” I say, laughing a bit. He pouted and unwrapped his arms from me, taking my hand now instead.
“Alright. Let’s go then.” He said, acting all whiny, which I found very amusing.
We left the penthouse, and got into Suho’s car, driving off to the restaurant he had picked. It was a new restaurant in town and very fancy. Apparently, Suho’s bank was the one who gave the loan to the owner, so he could start up the place. It was doing really well, there were tons of people and a long line to wait in. Thank god Suho has connections, because we would’ve waited for a whole two hours, but since Suho’s bank gave the loan, the owner made sure there was always a table open for him.
“This place is amazing.” I say, looking around at all the people and decorations inside.
“Well, my bank did give them the loan. We don’t just give out loans to anyone.” Suho said, smiling to himself.
“God, I love dating the most powerful man in Korea.” I say, swooning over him.
“I love dating the most beautiful woman in the world.” He said. I rolled my eyes at how cheesy it was, but enjoyed it more than anything.
We ordered our food and ate, and after, we went on a walk to work off everything all that food.
“Oh, there’s an ice cream truck. You want some?” Suho asked, spotting the truck easily.
“We just ate.” I laughed. He just shrugged.
“We didn’t have dessert.” He said, chuckling.
“Ice cream it is then.” I say.
“I’ll be right back.” He said, kissing the top of my head before going to the ice cream truck. I waited for him in that same spot, and felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around, and saw Sehun standing behind me.
“Oh my god, can’t you take a hint?” I said, rolling my eyes, not wanting to see him at all.
“Stop acting like you don’t want to see me, because I know you do.” He said, putting his hands in his pocket.
“No, Sehun, I don’t want to see you. Are you insane? When I tell you to leave me alone, I mean leave me alone.” I say, crossing my arms.
He looked me up and down, and I felt super self conscious. I pulled my dress up a little, and wrapped my jacket around me so my cleavage wasn’t showing as much.
“Sehun, just please leave. I’m with someone now and I don’t need you ruining things again.” I said.
“Why’s he here?” Suho asked from behind me. He put his arm over my shoulder and handed me my ice cream. He took a bite of his, and stared Sehun down. Sehun scoffed.
“You’re with someone now, huh? You can’t tell me you actually got back together with him.” Sehun said, glaring at Suho.
“I did, and we’re happy together again, so just go.” I say, not wanting a fight to break out between the two.
“It’s in your best interest to leave.” Suho said, scrunching his eyebrows at Sehun.
“Have you forgotten what me and her did? Obviously, I proved that I was much better than you at having sex.” Sehun started. I felt Suho’s grip tighten.
“You’re gonna want to stop now.” Suho said through gritted teeth.
“The way she screamed my name instead of yours that night. It seems like I was the one she was in love with this whole time.” Sehun continued. Suho handed me his ice cream.
“Sehun, Stop.” I warned.
“I think the words you used was: Sehun, keep going.” He said, raising an eyebrow. “I could have you all to myself if Suho wasn’t-“ Sehun started again, but Suho punched him in the face.
“Oh my god.” I said, dropping the ice cream, and grabbing Suho’s arm. “Let’s just go, He isn’t worth it.” I say, making Suho look at me. He looked angry. It was the same look he had on our wedding day.
“You’re whole relationship isn’t worth it. You should’ve just let her be with me.” Sehun continued to provoke Suho.
Suho turned back to Sehun, and yanked his arm out of my grasp and attacked Sehun again. This time Sehun fought back, getting some good hits in that was definitely going to leave bruises.
“Stop!” I yelled, trying to pull the two boys off each other but they were way too strong for me, and now they were drawing in a crowd. Suho pushes Sehun to the ground, and started punching him over and over again. I did everything I could to stop them but it was no use. “Please!” I cried out, not knowing what else to do.
There were police sirens and blue lights flashing towards us. A few cop cars stopped right beside us, and the cops got out and pulled Suho and Sehun away from each other. Suho was still trying to get to Sehun, but there were several cops holding him back. They bent both Suho and Sehun over the cop car and handcuffed them both.
“Wait. This is a mistake. What are you doing?” I asked the police, trying to talk them out of taking Suho.
“Ma’am, step back.” One of the policemen say to me. I did as I was told and watched Suho get arrested.
“If you ever come near her again, I swear I’ll kill you.” Suho threatened Sehun.
“Alright buddy, that’s enough.” The police said, putting Suho in the back of the car.
“Oh my god.” I whispered to myself. I didn’t know what to do, I was panicking. The cops drove off but one stayed behind.
“I’m assuming he was your boyfriend? Here’s where he’ll be. You can talk to the front desk about bailing him out.” He said, handing me a piece of paper with the address on it.
“Thank you.” I say, bowing to him. He left and I went back to Suho’s car and drove it to the police station where they were holding him.
I talked to the lady at the front desk about Suho’s charges and how much bail would be. It was 2,000 dollars, so thank god I had Suho’s card with me.
“You’ll be able to pick him up tomorrow morning.” She said.
“Tomorrow morning!? That’s a little late. I paid the bail, let him out now.” I say.
“I’m sorry, but he needs to at least stay here for one full day, no matter if you pay the bail. If you didn’t pay it, he’d have to go to trial and get a sentence.” She explained. (I don’t know how this stuff works).
I sighed, and sat down in one of the chairs. I wasn’t going to leave without him. I fell asleep in the chair, and was later woken up by one of the security guards the next morning.
“Your boyfriend is ready for you. He’s outside.” He informed me. I stretched, popping a few bones, and went outside where Suho was.
“Oh thank god.” I say, hugging him tightly. “What the hell is wrong with you? I told you he wasn’t worth it.” I say, examining his face.
“He just made me so angry. The things he said about you I.... I just couldn’t hold it in. I guess it was built up anger from before.” He said.
“I’m so sorry, this is all my fault.” I say, starting to cry.
“It’s not your fault. I could’ve ignored him but I decided to beat him up and get sent to jail for it.” He let out a sigh. “Now it’s all over social media. My reputation could suffer from this, but if it means he won’t mess with you again, it was worth it.” He said, wiping away one of my tears.
“No, it’s not worth it. You spent years building your credibility, now it’s going to be ruined because of me.” I say, sniffling.
“No, it’s not. It’ll be fine. Don’t worry.” He said, kissing my forehead. “I was kind of hoping you would tell me how hot I looked while beating Sehun up.” He said. I laughed at this, still crying.
“It was pretty hot.” I say, wiping away the last of the tears.
“I’m glad you think so.” He said intertwining his fingers with mine and leading me to the car.
Once we got to Suho’ apartment, I sat him down on the couch, and went to the kitchen to get some ice for his bruises. As I got it, I could hear him talk on the phone.
“I’m assuming you’ve seen the news about the fight...” He sighed. “I was hoping you wouldn’t see it. You need to be enjoying your time in Paris, not worrying about me.”
“Who are you talking to?” I asked, coming in the room. Suho put his finger to his lips, indicating for me to be quiet.
"What was that?" Avia asked, over speaker phone.
“...What was what?” Suho asked, making a face.
"I heard another voice"
“I think you’re just hearing things. I’m home alone. I have the tv on, it could’ve been that you were hearing?” He suggested.
"Yeah right, if you're hooking up with someone you're allowed to tell me.” She said, not convinced.
Hot tinder date. I mouthed to Suho, but he just rolled his eyes. “It was really no one.” He said.
"Ugh whatever just please stay out of trouble"
“Yes, mom.”
"Don't take that tone with me," She teased.
Suho laughed. “Have fun in Paris. Don’t worry about me too much, Okay?”
"I'll try." She sighed.
“I love you.” Suho said, before hanging up the phone and letting out a sigh.
“Why didn’t you go with the hot tinder date plan?” I asked, pouting a little.
“I’m not saying I have a hot tinder date.” He laughed.
“So, how’s her time in Paris?” I asked, over exaggerating the word Paris, because, honestly, I didn’t care.
“Not sure. She didn’t really talk about it much. She was too worried about me getting into a fight and going to jail.” He sighed.
“I’m still really sorry about that.” I apologize again. I truly was sorry, I felt really bad about it.
“I told you, it’s not your fault there’s no need to apologize.” He said, pulling me into a hug that turned into a cuddle on the couch.
“Seeing you fight was pretty hot though. I’ve never seen you act like that.” I say, looking up at him. He smirked.
“Was it? Maybe I should fight more often.” He said.
Suho’s father called him, almost as soon as he hung up the phone. He looked at the screen for a second, debating whether he should answer or not. I shook my head no, telling him not to answer the phone, but he let out a sigh, mentally preparing himself and hit the answer button.
“Hello?” He answered, timidly.
“KIM JUNMYEON! Getting into fights!? Going to JAIL!? What the actual hell do you think you’re doing!? You’re putting our name in the garbage!” His father yelled over the phone.
“.. I know, dad, I’m sorry. It didn’t mean to happen.” Suho said.
I felt bad that he was getting yelled at by his dad. Suho’s dad was honestly extremely intimidating and scary. Even Suho was slightly intimidated by his father.
“What has gotten into you? You need to shape up, and get back to business mode, or I’m gonna have to get your brother to replace you.” His dad said.
“Yes sir.” Suho said, looking at the ground.
“If I see one more piece of bad news from you, I swear I’ll replace you.” His dad said, before hanging up.
Suho threw the phone on the table, and put his head in his hands, resting his elbows on his knees. I scooted closer to him, and rubbed his back.
“Are you okay?” I asked. He sighed and looked up at me.
“He said that he would replace me with my brother if I messed up again.” He said, rolling his eyes.
“He won’t do that. For starters, you’re way more business savvy than your brother, and your brother also has that elementary school he owns. You know he wouldn’t leave that to work at the bank.” I said, trying to be reassuring.
“My dad hates the fact that my brother owns that school. He’d much rather have him working at the bank. If he got the chance, he would definitely replace me with my brother.” Suho said, with worry.
“No, he won’t. You’ll be fine, I promise.” I said, pulling him into a hug. He let out a long sigh, and pulled away.
“I should do some work.” He said, getting his laptop from the coffee table.
“Work? Suho, you need to rest. You spent the night in jail, I’m sure you didn’t get much sleep, and your face is all bruised...” I said, closing the laptop and moving it away from him. “For one day, just rest.” I pleaded. This was basically our everyday argument. “You could use it.” I said.
“Fine, but tomorrow I’m going right to work.” He said. I nodded in agreement. Anything to get him to rest today.
~~~
About a month passed, and nothing really happened. Sehun hadn’t tried to talk me again or anything. Kai has tried to ruin Suho’s reputation more, but Suho’s too smart for him, and was always a step ahead. I’m pretty sure Kai is still trying though.
Mine and Suho’s relationship was stronger than ever. He would even come home on time almost every night to be with me. Which, I felt a little bad about since work was always so important to him, but I was also extremely happy, because now I’m seeing him more.
Tonight was one of those nights when he came home early. We had dinner, and right after dinner we started making out on the couch, and obviously things started to get heated, so we moved to the bed room.
Dead ass in the middle of us having sex, I hear the front door open and close.
“Suho, stop.” I said, tapping his back.
“What is it? Is something wrong?” He asked, propping himself up more, so he could look at me.
“Did you hear that?” I ask, going silent to listen. All we could hear was our heavy breathing.
“No.” He said.
He started going back at it, but stopped when we heard another sound coming from the living room.
“I’ll go check it out. I swear to god if someone just broke into this house.” He said, getting out of the bed, and just pulling on a pair of sweatpants. “Stay here. I’ll be right back.” He said, grabbing a bat that he kept in his room for god knows why. I let out a sigh as he left the room, and put on one of his shirts.
~Third Person P.O.V~~
Suho walked down the stairs carefully, and stopped when he heard the refrigerator door open and close. When he made his way to the kitchen, Avia walked out, and he hid his bat behind his back.
“Avia! Hey. You scared me, I thought someone broke into my house.” He said, putting his hand on his heart.
“Suho, sorry I didn’t know you were home.” She says, looking at the clock. “You’re home really early, I was hoping to surprise you when you got here.” She pouted a little.
“Yeah, I um... Finished up at work earlier than I thought I would today so I just came home.” He said. Avia paused for a minute and examined what Suho was wearing.
“Okay, one, where’s the rest of your clothes? And two, why are you so sweaty?” She asked, raising an eyebrow at him for being so out of character.
“I was.... Working out.” He said.
“Working out?” She asked, not believing it.
“Yeah. Since I got home early I thought it would be a nice change to actually use the fitness room, so.” He said, nodding to himself.
“Mhm.” She says, still a little suspicious. “Anyways. I have so much to tell you about this Paris trip. We got a two week break, so I decided to come surprise my best friend and see how he was doing.” Avia says, leading him upstairs. “So, I think we should do what we used to, pop some popcorn, put on some random movie, and not watch it so I can tell you everything about Paris.” She said, stopping at his door, and reaching to open it.
“Woah, there.” He said, stopping her. “We can’t go in there.” He said.
“Why not?” She asked, confused.
“It’s a... it’s a mess in there. Like it’s bad.” He said.
“It’s always a mess in there.” She rolls her eyes, starting to open the door again, but he closed it.
“No, I’m serious like. It’s a mess.” He said. “We can talk in the living room. You go, start popping the popcorn and I’ll ... put on more clothes.” He said, making her go back downstairs.
~~Your P.O.V~~
Suho finally came back in the room, and started putting on different clothes. I looked at him, confused but he started talking before I could ask what was going on.
“Avia’s here.” He whispered.
“What?!” I whisper/yelled.
“Yeah. She’s going to be here for the next two weeks, because she’s on break or something, and now she wants to talk about her trip in the living room.” He said, throwing on a T-shirt. “I’m taking my phone with me so I can text you. I’m sorry, I didn’t know she was gonna be here.” He said.
“It’s okay, really.” I said, for his sake really. I’m actually kinda really disappointed that we couldn’t finish what we were doing though.
“Just stay here, and try not to make much noise.” He said, giving me a kiss before leaving.
As Suho went back downstairs he started to take down the photos of him and me that were now hanging back on the wall, and threw them in the closet to make sure Avia didn’t see him. After he did that, he joined her on the couch.
After a few hours, Suho texted me, telling me Avia fell asleep, but she was on his lap, and he didn’t know what to do. After about ten more minutes, he finally came back in the room.
“She’s in her bedroom now.” He said, letting out a sigh.
“I guess this means I have to leave now?” I asked, a bit disappointed about it.
“It’s probably what’s best, we don’t want another fight to break out again if she sees you.” He said, putting his hands on his hips. I sigh and get up.
“I guess I’ll leave then, since I’m not wanted.” I said, over exaggerating just about everything I did.
“I’ll see you tomorrow?” Suho asked, watching as I put my clothes back on.
“Of course.” I say, smiling.
“Good, then see you tomorrow.” He smiled, giving me a kiss, before I leave the house.
