Hello, you can call me Jules. I am a transgender (transmasc) butch lesbian, I use he/him pronouns and I am of the female sex. I am also black.

This is a sideblog, and it was created to be an outlet for me to find more likeminded female people, and also to interact with radfems and gender critical feminists in a more positive light (on my main, I’m primarily in heavily anti-Radfem/GC spaces). Basically, whatever I might get flamed for on main lol

of course the "he/him transman" lesbian thinks gender = clothes. great take sis, not regressive at all. how dare a woman dress in masculine clothes and not also identify as a he/him lesbian amirite

Imagine not being able to use your brain. I was a cisgender woman for years before identifying as trans, and I was still a butch. I’m not masc bc I identify as a transman but I’m just masc and also a transman

Clothing ≠ gender, and if you think anyone thinks that, 9/10 you’re just not actually thinking.

Don’t really use this blog anymore because tbh the average radfem is insufferable whenever they encounter an opinion on gender that isn’t “gender is bad sex is the only thing that matters”

I know many radfems who are fully capable of making an effort to understand opposing opinions, even if they do not agree with them.

The rest of y’all are so desperate to pain transgender people as crazy people that you constantly misconstrue our arguments to make us seem more ridiculous

“Gender is just style” “trans people think black women are men” “trans people don’t think sex is real” shut the fuck up

You have no business complaining about how many people are anti-radfem when it seems like you make an effort to make yourself seem as annoyingly dense as possible while claiming you’re all for nuance and reasonable arguments.

It would be far more productive for everyone if you just admitted you’re just a bigot instead of trying to shield yourself with a controversial sector of feminism.

Shout out to the radfems of the world who don’t do this shit. I love you and hope everything is right for you. Sorry your community is full of roaches.

hope you get out of your current environment because the way you talk about yourself and other trans folks is genuinely so sad. what do you get out of berating yourself?

Berating myself, how? I also have not said anything negative about myself or other trans people, and the way I talk about other trans people is still very much respectful of the way they identify.

Do you just hear that someone doesn’t have a uwu your validd mentality about trans issues and think they just hate all trans people

Me, verbally: ohh actually I’m a transmasc lesbian! Doesn’t mean I’m a man >_< there are a lot of nonbinary lesbians!

Me, internally: my gender identity doesn’t stop me from being a fucking homosexual female. And a trans man AND a lesbian

The way people treat lesbian trans men if fucking vile. It’s vile and cruel.

As soon as we identify ourselves as men, you expect us to be completely unaffected by any of the misogyny we’ve previously experienced or will experience in the future. You expect us to brush it off because we’re “actually men, and men don’t experience misogyny”. It doesn’t matter how non-passing we are, doesn’t matter if no one views us as male, we still can’t admit we face misogyny.

On top of that, if you’re female-attracted as a trans man, you’re expected to abandon your lesbian identity and be completely unaffected by any lesbophobia we’ve experienced or will experience in the future. Doesn’t matter how much we get called sinful dykes, we’re expected to brush it off because we’re “actually straight men, and straight men don’t experience lesbophobia”

We’re expected to completely ignore the way our oppression has affected us, AND on top of that people expect us to be the “protectors” of the rest of the trans community. It’s fucking bullshit.
