Almost immediately, a sense of dread was beginning to set in as she slowly stepped inside, clearly less than thrilled. “That is actually my room,” He said, loud music still blaring from his computer on the other side of the door. Cecil gritted his teeth apologetically as he pointed to the other door. “Yours is gonna be over here. There’s a little less space in it, but it’s closer to the bathroom and the AC unit,” He said, opening the door to reveal an extremely sub-par space. “And the bathroom is right here. The kitchen’s around that weird wall thing. There’s a dishwasher. It’s awesome.”
Great. At the very least, she could be thankful she was closer to the bathroom. Her process of getting ready in the morning tended to be extensive. “An awesome dishwasher?" She questioned, plopping her bags on the floor of her room. "I didn't see that on the craigslist description." Her gaze was scrutinizing as she wandered around the dinky space — she really hadn't expected much more, but the size of the closet was deeply upsetting. "...How long have you lived here?"
