located in ann arbor, mi, these folks host a weekly local foods breakfast, prepared by volunteers, and offer grants for equipment and infrastructure to beginning farmers in their region!

an event in detroit and elsewhere, detroit soup hosts soup/salad/bread dinners for cheap-- and community folks present their creative/community projects to diners, who then vote on the recipient of the micro-grant funded by the dinner!  face-to-face, spoon-to-bowl crowd-funding :)

the people's kitchen hosts sliding-scale community dinners to benefit local social justice organizations- and features education about these awesome groups and the issues they work on as part of the dinner experience.

we love food.  growing it, cooking it, eating it, serving it to friends.  especially when it's seasonal and locally raised.  

and we love gainesville, and supporting community projects that make this town a great place to live.

we're lucky to live in a place that's full of visionary folks working on amazing projects in the arts, environment, and community development, to name just a few areas, and we're grateful to live in a place with ever-growing and diverse sources of good, local foods produced with care.

so join us in our vision to connect these loves- we're serving up dinner and you're invited!

Summer Supper @ Vine, proceeds to benefit Gainesville's first Girls Rock Camp!

A 5-course seasonal meal prepared with the finest locally-produced ingredients.

Saturday, June 22nd, 8 pm at Vine Bakery, 627 North Main Street, Gainesville, FL.

$30/person, purchase tickets in person at Vine Bakery, or online through Paypal- check out the purchase button in our description above.
