No Sleep Tonight 

So I Figure I Should Put My TIme To Good Use.

I Will Be Digging For New Tracks For My Next Mixx, As Well As Working On New Tracks Within FLStudio and Ableton Live running them Side by SIde Since I can’t currently get them to Sync together. Although it shouldn’t really matter much once I find a Set BPM for the Track although that can be tricky if Later I decide I want to change it? Anyways thankfully I am doing all of this USING my MAC which makes FLstudio much more reliable and smooth to work with. I love it and it was worth the money to upgrade. I believe by running Ableton to write loops and utilizing FLStudio more as an Arrangement Tool and to write simple beats and build ups. The combination will work very well together. Once they have the Full ability to work together on the Mac Platform without having to export files to and fro they will be unreal to work with. Currently I am trying my best to work within only FLStudio so I can Relearn some of the things and tricks that I used to know and once I feel like I’ve truly mastered the program again I will integrate Ableton into the mix and see how things work out there. I am hoping by that point they will come out with a better version of FLStudio for Mac and by that point I will be able to have them automatically sync together as a Master Slave type thing.

SEARCHING FOR HOURS FOR THE RIGHT TRACKS TO PLAY.. this is the work that the crowd never sees a dj doing..

in fact the crowd doesn’t see a majority of the work a dj does.. during that hour two or three you are only witnessing the cumulative work of countless hours of preparation, practice, research, listening, writing new songs, buying new music with the little money they had at the time, buying music programs, going to school to learn more about music, networking, all for the small portion of the money you pay the door man that you later complain about to your friends.. And this work is never finished it’s a constant and yeah you could literally have on a hard drive every single song ever made and will be made but if you don’t know those songs front to back top to bottom and you don’t know how they will play with the other songs in your collection then having every song is of no use!! the dj’s collection doesn’t necessarily make him great although some of the greatest DJ’s in the world will obviously have enormous collections of music usually in the form of vinyl records in addition to their seemingly endless collection of .WAV and .AIF files of songs that most the world don’t know. And no matter how much they make $wise in their life the true DJ will continue their never ending quest to spread their love and the love all over the World. You’ll be able to tell the fakes the ones who retire at the age of 40 when they have enough money to live the rest of their life in an account they will drop off the face of the planet and give nothing back and sour at the age of 50 and die sometime there after. True DJ’s will live long lives continuing their craft long past their 50′s or 60′s until they are bed ridden and physically can’t do it any more. Like my grandfather a pianter who retired from his real Job to paint for the rest of his life He paints nearly every day and would probably end up dead if He quit doing what He loved.
