Oh this makes me so emotional I feel sick. Dennis is so high and out of touch with reality but he knows the feel of that jacket—it’s familiar and grounding. They’re twins but she’ll always be his big sister.

He’s got one hand clamped under Dee’s arm and the other hand feeling around for a button that was once there on the cuff. It’s long lost but he can still feel it. He drops his hand but then he lifts it again—hand around Dee’s wrist, and then squeezes the jacket sleeve with both hands now. And even after Mac & Charlie make fun of them, Dennis still returns to the same motions. The last frame we see is Dennis holding Dee’s hand. Holding on for dear life.
