By roughly preteen ages, there's a sort of camaraderie between Twilight and Sunset. To a point that, in the few times they hang out together, there's budding crushes that the both of them are too stunted emotionally to deal with.

Since I've got a little interest sparked up for my fankids, I'm gonna dump their refs at y'all one at a time.

Up first is the oldest, Midnight Shine. Not an original name, I know, but there's a reason for it. You see, the Mane 6 all settled down together, more or less, and were trying to come up with a way to start raising a little herd of kids. Twilight being Twilight, immediately threw herself into making a spell that could allow two mares to have kids. Her very first attempt, she used herself as a test subject and out popped a little foal that looked and sounded just like her.

Midnight, on paper, is basically a clone of Twilight. Even mentally, she's just as studious and driven as her birth mother and is prone to 'Twilighting' when things go wrong (which unfortunately happens very often). With how the spell worked, however, it left her...incomplete. She is, essentially, an unstable clone, prone to migraines and chronic fatigue and her strength is barely even equal to that of a Earth pony foal. Still, her mind is just as sharp as her mother's and the level-head the rest of her herd cultivated in her helps her to rule in Princess Twilight's absence.
