i didn't know any of this was happening because i followed the dev of the game casually and just checked for announcements every few weeks. i just happened to notice a server was gone from my discord and went . Something Happened.
anyway not all that surprised this project ended up imploding, but disappointing. i just want a slightly modernized animal game to fuck around w my friends on, man. go figure that the admins were shitty people too

I don't think FBO is a scam, but I guess I also wouldn't be surprised if their leadership took off with the funds in a similar fashion to xSpirit. They've really made no attempt to offer up any transparency, and I just feel like it's going to turn out like Arokai but 10x more disastrous
this is a fair take tbh. we have to remember that fbo has fhu origins and was an attempt to make something out of a pretty fucked situation. i dont want to disparage the devs for doing something that they thought was best course of action. but leadership has changed. their community has demanded transparency and accountability. you have a community manager placating people in the chats but with no real actionable items. everything is reliant on their programmer. who doesnt talk at all in the big server and doesn't seem like a very friendly person based on what i've been shown. they are not making a good case for themselves to be trustworthy.
FBO did not scam anyone. People who pledged for FHU knew that it was transitioning to FBO. stop making shit up
im not saying its a scam anon. if people dont feel like theyve been robbed of time and funds then thats good for them (anyone wishes they had the kind of disposable income) but the road they took is questionable and worthy of criticism.
